Webtoon / web tv serieses are less regulated and there is more leeway. That is why the low budget TV serieses can get more past censorship. Check out Eternal Love (not to be confused with Peach Blossom). That one also has time travel and is a low budget web tv show. Censorship is more harsh on big tv shows that reach more ppl bc they are in popular time slots on tv, etc.

I think the vibe you're getting isn't off and I get the feeling that we aren't getting any action bc ... lets just say dramas still stay quite conservative as to not anger the fans. Usually actors only kiss one other actor on screen. Often you know "oh they kissed, ok, ship has sailed, no chance for anyone else anymore" Especially when it is a sealed kiss on the lips. Then you know, your other ships have no hope anymore. I think this drama will keep it at that tradition X.X But hey, I shouldn't be mad, I am already getting more than many other dramas were willing to give hhhhh

I love that this one is going against the norm and when I found out that the 1st ML will end up with the FL I was a little mad.
(I didnt check the posters or trailer and I always skip the intro and ending so it really did surprise me to see the wedding poster here the other day haha)
I was dreaming of a drama where the 2ndML finally gets the girl! Especially Merxat hahaha
I couldn't stay mad for long thought and I am very happy with how it is atm (I caught up to the current 14th EP) you will like the coming episodes, too. They are save to watch haha They are both still very straight forward and cute together <3

I am also enjoying QH and WY s chemestry. They are great together and I am not looking forward to getting their hearts broken but if that does not happen then our ML will not get his chance... guess I just need to brace myself for the heartache. Looking forward to the coming Eps!

I am enjoying how much in love the FL and 2ML are but am still looking forward to see her later fall in love with the 1st ML. I am really interested in how they are going to make it all work out. I haven't been this happy with a Love Triangle in years, maybe even in all of drama history!

I am so happy with this Love Triangle and I am enjoying this so much!
Everyone is behaving like adults, no one is overly jealous either. They are not fighting over a woman like some stupid folks ('go big or go home' style, 'if I can't have her no one should', etc), neither is the FL holding back from making friends with men.

I am enjoying it A LOT! It's fun and light with an interesting Love Triangle. If you don't like Love Triangles, than maybe keep away from it. It seems to be the main plot in this drama haha

I am just watching it for the sismance. We don't get a lot of story lines like that TTATT

Poor dude, really. I was also looking forward to seeing more of him and then the actor had to just lay down for most of the drama x.x I've seen the BTS of Peach blossom where the ML (Shifu verison) also had to lie down for a lot of scenes and he said it was actually quite hard to 'act' that part and he unconsciously fell asleep a lot of times XD

I can especailly well recognize him well when he is whispering or speaking in a low voice but as the Emperor he rarely speaks affectionatly. To me, when Bian Jiang talks to a loved one, full with affection, that is where he gets me! omg
Still, I am glad he gets to speak the Emperor, makes it enjoyable to me to have the guy on screen so often lol Just close my eyes and ahhhhh~~

You can especially well recognise him when he is talking in a lower/whispering voice.
