I really enjoy this version more than the novel. They changed a lot but I think it's for the better. Episode 7 and 8 are definitely awesome! β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ. I hope it'll continue to impress me. I felt lots of emotions while watching those episodes. I'm really looking forward to episodes 9 and 10 ππ
pretty strong and fast development in first episodes, me likey. Only thing I'm not that into is FL's childish…
That's her original voice. She sounds like that even when she's a contestant in youth with you season 2 and when hosting. I probably got used to hearing her so I don't feel uncomfortable anymore. π
In the novel, the FL is indeed gullible. She's always being used that I really feel sad and my heart aches for…
I'm not sure in the drama but in the novel Chi De Nu Zi doesn't like DFQC. There's no wedding in the novel but DFQC is trying to court XLH because the revived XLH doesn't have any memory of DFQC. DFQC promised XLH that he will do everything to make her happy so whatever XLH wants DFQC will do it for her. If she wants to try living a life as a mortal or any other way, DFQC will grant it for her. Eventually, in the end of the epilogue XLH chose to live a peaceful and normal life with DFQC together with their future family in which DFQC thinks good and agreed to XLH.

Yes. He only realize that he loves her when she's already gone and felt so hopeless finding the last fragment of XLH's life and trying to revive it. When she's being firmed again ang revived, he was even afraid of going near her because he might lose her again if he does because she's still so fragile. He would rather look at her from afar than losing her forever. That's what's in the novel. He finally felt pain, powerless, and fear because of losing XLH. Which I think he deserves after everything XLH went through in the novel.

In the novel they were not in the mortal Realm. I think they just went there to retrieve the soul of the reincarnated Chi De Nu Zi which is Xie wan qing. The drama is so different that's why I'm still looking forward to seeing it despite already reading the novel myself.

It's okay. They actually changed a lot from the novel. The first 6 episodes are not like the novel at all except from the part where DFQC was imprisoned and they switched bodies. The rest are too different and he's showing a bit of emotion when they went to sun bath. Maybe the DFQC in the drama will not be as heartless as the one in the novel.
They actually changed a lot but in the novel, she is not the god of war but she is needed to revive the god of…
He wants to revive her to kill her because in the novel it seems like during their fight, he feels like Chi De Nu Zi cheated. There was a sneak attack from behind him and so Chi De Nu Zi was able to put a seal on him. He was in the darkness for thousands of years and he has lots of recentment towards Chi De Nu Zi.

But Chi De Nu Zi kept just a bit of XLH'slife essence and threw it to the place which is like an illusion. She wants see DFQC desperate and feel the pain, longing and regret because of what he did to XLH. DFQC has indeed felt those feelings and tried to look for the life essence of XLH even though that illusion is collapsing. It was indeed a heartbreaking scene because its the first time DFQC showed lots of feelings and is so desperate to look for what's left of XLH. Eventually, he found her and tried his best again to revive XLH's spirit because what he has at time is just a fragment of XLH. Anyway, even though in the novel I feel like DFQC doesn't deserve XLH at all but the novel is still a master piece. Good thing the epilogue showed how DFQC spoils XLH after she's revived and they're together again.

In the novel, as a reader you can see that it seems like DFQC is already in love with XLH but he is still in denial and keeps on thinking about his revenge for Che de Nu Zi so he wants to revive her to kill her. If I'm not mistaken he just acknowledged his love for XLH when she is already gone and the body she's using became Chi De Nu Zi's. For the first time he felt hopeless and don't know what to do anymore. It was really a very heartbreaking chapter because before XLH dessicated she was so hopeful and waited for DFQC but wasn't able to take it anymore. DFQC was late in rescuing her.
To those whoβve read the novel, is the FL the female God of War who died/disappeared 30,000 years ago
They actually changed a lot but in the novel, she is not the god of war but she is needed to revive the god of war. In the novel Xiao Lang Hua has the ability to fix souls and an orchid who's gone extinct because they don't like being with people and they though she's the last of her kind. DFQC made a body for Chi De Nu Zi but XLH tried everything to get the body for herself because in the novel her original body was destroyed by herself when she's in DFCQ body. Her story in the novel is so tragic because she just wants to live and see her master but is often used and tricked by others.
They actually changed a lot in the drama compared to the novel. I'm. Guessing that his role is supposedly the desciple of Che de Nu Zi who wants her revived.
This is only my opinion so you donβt have to agree with everything. Hereβs what I think of the first 2 eps…
In the novel, the FL is indeed gullible. She's always being used that I really feel sad and my heart aches for her. She even knew that she's just used and kept by DFQC so that he can revive Chi De Nu Zi but she still let's it thinking that there come a time when DFQC will choose her in the end. However, I admire her perseverance to live. In the novel she has done everything just so she will not die and her inspiration is to see her master again. She doesn't even hesitate to lick others boots just so she could live but in the end still sacrificed to revive Chi De Nu Zi.
What happened in the novel?Who does Yingyuan end up with? And why?
I cannot say. It's somewhatq a happy ending but also not. Oh well you can check the novel in wattpad or some other sites. It's entitled agarwood like crumbs. You can see for yourself. The beginning is different in the novel. It started when they're already in the mortal realm unlike immortal samsara which started in heavenly realm.
After reading the novel, I got afraid watching the drama. I really like Yingyuan with Yandan in this drama series. I'm scared it would end up like the novel. I really hope not. π If I only knew the novel would have that ending. I should have finished the novel first before watching immortal samsara so that I won't be biased. Oh please please please! Let them be together!!! ππ
