Well season 1 wasn't a masterpiece either and it was pretty mediocre but it was my first kdrama so i kind have an attachment to the first season but season 2 is just unbearable and I'm not talking only about the ending.

Can we atleast agree to the fact that YJ was a beautiful person throughout the drama? Her love was so pure and unconditional! When she gets the flowers from SO, that smile says everything about what he means to her as a person and a partner. Only if the writers gave enough screen time to these two and let SO move on from from JJ earlier, sigh...
YJ: Oppa, i had a really good dream last night.
SO: what was it about?
YJ: You rang my love alarm.

But he never did! I'm literally on the verge of crying, someone erase my memory of ever watching love alarm.

Oh shit i forgot about the spear! Well that explains that shit the drama pulled. If the original material is as shitty, the adaptation was expected to be like this.

The webtoon wasn't good either tbh. It was bashed for rushing the storyline and character endings but what they did better was to give SO an okay closure. He rings YJ alarm at the end but the show pulled off the same cliche ending for SML, HIM UNABLE TO MOVE ON AND CLINGING ON TO YJ. IT SEEMED LIKE SHE WAS THE ONLY CHOICE REMAINING RATHER THAN THE CHOICE SUN-OH SHOULD'VE MADE ON HIS OWN.
Besides very few people are complaining about JJ×HY ending but most of the people didn't understand or likethe events that led to the ending. I am perfectly fine with HY and JJ relationship but what I'm not fine the writer's boring writing and inability to give the other characters closure and every character a development.

If you think less detail of characters and their arcs was the ONLY problem then yoy haven't been paying attention.

I think the writer was going for that, to make them unlikeable and annoying so that they can have character development later. If you have watched the previous work of the writer (fiery priest), you'll know that all his character have shades of grey. He's going for the same thing here.

I think it was all intentional, to show contempt and disrespect for the corrupt court officials. The judge was more focused on turn of events than the basic manners people should show in a court of law. He is a crooked judge and all his focus was on how invalidate the evidence and witnesses. VC was pushing it by talking out of place and always addressed the people and not the judge.

Well that's his character. He's brought up by mafia where showing emotions are contradictory to their beliefs and work. The drama established that from the first episode (where he shoots the guy in the head without even blinking) but JJW is different, he's more emotions driven. He reacts to situations by getting angry and frustrated whereas VC is calm and composed and knows better than to get emotional. That's his character trait.

Yes he/she doesn't or rather doesn't want to because his/her favourite people in the drama got a happy ending and that's all that matters, the hell with the unbearable plot and generally dull characters.

If you think a relationship is all about being calm and agreeable on every issue, then either you're very much misinformed or never have been in a proper relationship.
Love isn't at all about calmness and agreement between two people and if you're refusing to acknowledge that fact, go along with it but just don't say it like it means anything other than a biased opinion.

Forgive for being 19 and participating in criticising plot holes and character mess ups. I didn't know i was required to be above 20 to state facts.

Did i have some expectations? Yes.
I expected an interesting plot, consistent characters, proper closure to character's arcs and generally good writing but i didn't get it so ofcourse i would be disappointed.

You can disagree with a character but that's what JJW believes. There's nothing harmful about giving a character his own beliefs and understandings, even if you disagree with it.

I thought ratings were about how one feel about the contents in the drama not how people rated it. 6.6 is what it deserves and i can provide a novel of reasons why. People rating it 1.0 are doing the same thing you are, they are being biased and not addressing the real issues here. I didn't give it below 5 for the actors, cinematography and music. I didn't give it above 5 because it didn't deserve it, reasons are the lazy plotline, bad characterization of characters and lack of full bodied characters with no character development which i have explained multiple times in the comment section.

I don't think 6.6 is a bad rating considering people hated the plot and characterization of characters. I mean the writing was so bad that it didn't allow people to focus on any positives if there were any.

Dude, you've given it a 10 and i don't know where and how in the world does that make sense. A 10 for this shit show!
