Both are unhinged and toxic, this was crazy in a good way but not quite my cup of tea. The passion was lacking for me and i watch verticals for my crave of PASSIONATE ROMANCE!
Who would have thought that Caesar Wu would star in a Vertical after the huge phenomena of Meteor Garden. I was delighted when i realized it was him!!
His portrayal of the coldblooded and ruthless ruler was top notch, you could feel and see his absolute disgust and hatred of FL´s treacherous family, it was no wonder he found it hard to trust her over the course of the story since he knew initially what the cause of her "seduction" and trying to be near him actually was..and while he was tempted...he knew he could not fall down that rabbit hole. But alas..he could not stop his heart and soul from longing for her.
Yu Ting is the Queen of Seduction in Verticals, i mean the way she moves her hands, body and eyes. Calculatingly and knowingly..like a innocent vixen. Just nobody does it like her and the way she turned him mad with passion, i am like daymnnnn!!!Absolutely love their terrific enemies to lovers romance!

This drama does high light their passion on-screen but the tone goes light when you realize that Male hero is absolutely selfless when it comes to FL, despite the horrible way she broke his heart in the past. He is her dangerous weapon throughout this story of revenge.
I just finished a AWESOME DRAMA with him portraying a very Anti-heroic CEO, luring the innocent heroine into his trap by initially taking advantage of her father`s demise. OMG THEY ARE SO HAWTTT!
I love that he can´t stand any other woman touching him but totally gets crazy with desire whenever he sees heroine, sighhhhhh
The story is not that rich to begin with, since the basic ground for the plot happens in the first 10-15 min. But it is the overall developing romance between mainleads that really made this drama enjoyable for me! They have incredible chemistry!
There is a scene i love where he waits for her by his car and she closes her one eye and tells him that he looks much like his twin brother in that pose, in which he throws down his cigarette and takes a step towards her- the way he looks at her made my heart beat faster!!! They have by the way a new drama i finished today, gonna wait for it to be updated here in MDL as well, and it have more superior plot as well!

Ke Chun is a absolutely smoldering Anti-hero in this story, cold, ruthless, manipulative and vicious. But he never saw his heroine coming, i love that he knew who she was the moment he saw her..and the way he could not keep his hands off her, ufffff!
There is one quote by him i found extremely sexy and that is when he cups her face and says: "Darling, how beautiful you look when you lie". THE SEXUAL TENSION IS CRAZY!!
This story is lovely!! So romantic & sexy, filled with delicious tension between both characters who slowly opened up about their secret love for one another! I have been opening up my eyes for Ben Wang more lately, especially after the angstfest of "Fervent Love".
I have been waiting for this drama to be uploaded on MDL. I love the story, its dark and exciting! Liang SiWei is irresistible in a uniform and his smile, wowzaaa! FL is beautiful and seductive! ML could not resist his heroine (despite being marrying to the woman he thinks he is in love with).
However, the editing is absolutely terrible in so many important scenes that it infuriated me! With such a sexy plot, the sudden cuts with the mainleads really made me almost pull my hair out!Like come on!!!Mad at the editors over this!
I watched her drama with Li Zhuoyang on youtube and wow!!Marvelous love-story and great passion these two had! They did not even need many steamy scenes, the tension between them was so palpable and intense! Their relationship is very angsty and toxic, ML has suffered unrequited love for FL, who loved his more calmer older twin-brother.
ML is so charming and the way he oozed sex just made my heart beat faster!The way he looked at her with such passion,omg!He could be insufferable at times, but he is SO SEXY i could not look away from him! The way he took advantage of FL at her weakest was terrible, but she made him work for it. It took a long time for her to finally admit that he always had been in her heart.
