Interesting version in the classic "Captive Love of Mob Boss" trope.
I liked that Hao Ran`s performance as the Mob Boss was shown in a much darker and unhinged tone in the psychological aspect and what a broken soul he actually is.

Love in The Clouds is a freekin masterpiece. Magical. Arduous. Alchemic. Electric. Never a boring moment. Filled with adventure, action & romance.Bleeding romance with two mainleads Ji Bozai & Ming Yi who are of THE SAME MIND. The Heart Array spell they created was so epic. I just wish Ming Yi would get clean over what she wants from him but she cares to much about his opinion of her...so sad and heartbreaking because he feels that she is hesitant and he respects and adhere to her to much to force her into staying by his side, he always considered her his wife, always

I just finished EP19. This ep is epic romantic magic. I cant get enough.

Its hard! But try Love & Bid Farewell first then, because its a insane ride. Dark..so dark but so good!

This story was very heavy on the revenge plot and just had so much dark vibes to it overall.
The scene where ML sees FL the second time reminds me of the scene in movie "Indecent Proposal".

My favourite scene in this whole drama.
