I like the first half of the drama way more, its fun and romantic watching ML struggle with his feelings for FL. The charm in his smile and the way she stole his heart. There is a underlying darkness to the story and FL´s struggle and quest for vengeance...but their romance is wonderful.
Fang Jin is a terrific actress and just really has this killer look on-screen! I love the Male actor`s performance as well, first time watching him on-screen and wow, what a presence he has. Danger and quiet fury that envelops around him in the early episodes, wow.
This is a ride you just cannot take your eyes away from. Addictive & fast-paced with all the tropes we love best, added in some modern dialuges from the heroine!
The story is so toxic, ML crossed limits he should not have...alas his empty fate. And i say that absolutely LOVING dramas with toxic & angry heroes, but they never cross the line of being unnecesary cruel even at the end (if not for good reason) and in this drama it felt like he just repeatedly wanted to punish her.
Wang Xuan portrays the Smitten Alpha Male role very well, just finished his drama with Zhang Shan under the title Summer Desire Bones on Bilibili. Omg is he terrific in that one! He literally licks his heroine on THE MOUTH,KYAAA

Dark, mysterious and very alluring! Mainleads have terrific chemistry and a sorching romance. The villian is one sicko, but the actor pulled him off so well!
The actor portraying Male Lead is so stunningly beautiful! Something about his face, those soulful eyes. I have seen him in one other drama whose title i cannot find in MDL and i always found that he have charismatic on-screen presence.
He never gave up in the story, pursuing her until he won her over. Incredible passion by the way, whewww!

I watched it in Bilibili! 9/10 stars! I love that both are actors that have secretly loved each other since high-school. The way they had to co-star in a romance drama and that passionate kiss, whewww so much passion! Ben Wang is terrific on-screen!

I am FRUSTRATED! This drama was surprisingly good but i cannot find any episodes with sub after ep 7 on Bilibili, and in my country drama site or Youtube or Dailymotion are NOT working, especially not without VPN. Frustrating!!
I actually watched this drama on VK without later adding it here. Now i just re-watched and remembered to add it. This is romance filled with passion, one of the better verticals out here!
