I feel for you!! It was way worse for me! i started watching while getting ready for Exams, thinking i would watch 1 ep at a time. I ended up binge watching for three days. I literally lost sleep.
I like this one, but prefer the other three i have watched. ML´s performance had dark undertones in the other versions, you could literally feel his grief and anxiety and yearning for his lost first love whom he treated so horribly in the past

I saw some shorts on youtube and was really intrigued especially since it involves one of my fave guilty pleasure tropes which is the forbidden aspect of student-teacher romance. And i do not mean when Male is the teacher and the student female, i mean when its the opposite. So much more sexier (hehe).
Tiffany Hsu really brought out the complex, broken and tortured soul of Meng Yun alive on-screen, whose family was ripped apart by a betrayal and the tragedy thereafter. She is kind to people and dedicated as a teacher, instantly despising YiXiang when she meets him for the first time. There is a sensual undertone in mids of their hostile encounters where YiXiang tries to break her will (as he has done to many other teachers) and YiXiang cannot undermine the thought of viewing her as a beautiful mysterious woman. His great heart got stolen by her, and he falls so hard for her.
Its the first time i have seen Edward Chen on-screen and oh my what a terrific actor! He is handsome in a very manly way. Loved his brash and energetic persona, the way he protects the people he cares about, his fearless way of pursuing MengYun, with his heart & soul bare on his sleeve, for her to shatter whenever she wants to by his heartfull permission.

Now i am currently watching Love Game in Eastern Fantasy- now EP 22. Your reviews are totally tantalizing! aghhhhh i had seen Esther before in "Devil & Fairy" and it is my first time watching DYX on-screen, and his performance as Mu Sheng/ Ziqi is OMG MINDBLOWING, He makes me so giddy with his antics and just passionate and vulnerable/shy persona. He is such a richly created character!their chemistry is....i don`t have words...(sigh)

He stole my heart when i was a 13 year old when i first watched Dream High. He was the coolest character who could kick ass, dance and sing at the same time while looking at the heroine (in this case Suzy) like his soul was taken from him.
Many years later i watch him in Vincenzo. He is incredible! Wish him so much happiness & peace!

Most ML in novels (especially Chinese written) are red flags,but I am not afraid of that.Truth to be told Ji BoZai should be of a more darker character since how deeply horrible his upbringing was especially surviving the pits of Hell.

We may despise an Evil Second Female Lead, but why is there no other girl vying for Ji Bo Zai’s affections? I mean he had his love rival in Situ Ling and imaginary Ming Xian, I SO WISH WE GOT TO HAVE SEEN Ming Yi jealous and possessive of him😭🌸
And Ji Bo Zai would have loooved every second of it😭😭😭

I loved this story for its passion between the leads and ML was super dreamy!
The last 2 episodes felt like a slap to the face, honestly
