We have all the comforting good vibes in Last Cinderella.
In a way i was trying to figure out why the title for this storyline since it does not have much to do with the fairytale itself. We have the heroine Sakura hitting 4o years of age, realizing how utterly lonely she is and that she does deep down want a stable partner to rely on and who will love her in return. She is a manager to a very fussy hair salon where she has incredible friendships with her collective co-workers and her arch nemesis Rintaro, both annoy each other every chance they get, their bickering made me laugh lots of times. She also has two best female friends in the stay at home wife/mum Miki and the liberal playgirl Shima.I love the settings of the basement bar, the hairsaloon and the every weekly activities the characters do together. I mean, you live their lives with them. No one is perfect, everyone are human beings with their insecurities and do make mistakes along the way. How comedic the story yet was it does have a dark undertone to the very toxic sibling relationship between Chioko and the very manipulative casanova rider Saeki Hiroto- who by the way is so handsome he made my heart beat faster several times. His character evolves when he gets to know Sakura and how he slowly gets engulfed by her innocence and goodness, she was pure sunshine in his dark world. OST is amazing and the themes are so catchy & beautiful. Its a golden classic japanese drama, i will definitely miss the characters.

Mainleads that hurt each other alot...
this story gave me such headache at times. FL is sick by being ML´s mistress only and breaks up with him as she wants marriage and real commitment. ML for his own reasons cannot give her that commitment since he is not able to have children and that gave him a huge complex. But her refuses to let any other man have her, and he does try to let go her after she pushes him away several times but to no avail since fate keep pushing them on their path. This was such a toxic trainwreck.ML is gorgeous though, and soooo shameless. Was this review helpful to you?
I could feel THEIR Drowning Love…
I have been wanting to watch Drowning Love for a while and i am glad i finally gave it a shot. In my honest opinion, it is a dark, complex and very heartbreaking story. The female lead and male lead are very young, they are also portrayed by two very amazing actors Nana Komatsu & Masaki Suda (who also married in real life). These two could literally speak with their eyes, their chemistry natural and clearly portrayed the violative, vibrant and passionate youth of their love, i could sense them drowning in that love. We get several symbolic scenes combined with the harsh and glittering nature, Masaki`s character as untamed and carefree as the big glittering sea and the flying windstorms. He absolutely adored her in which you could see in his small actions in reflectivation to his unbidden nature.Despite being filmed by a female director i felt no sense of female gaze, or even romantization. Its a raw, naked and deep form of art in its uniqueness, quite disturbing as well at times. This film clearly showed so well that two broken souls cannot heal each other. Was this review helpful to you?
Ah, this one…
My Tomorrow, Your Yesterday" is a very different concept and it got executed very well in this love-story between Takatoshi & Emi portrayed by fine talented Sota Fukushi & Nana Komatsu. This is a romantic paranormal drama. A lovely and melancholic piece of art. Sad in its loveliness and beauty. For what could have been and never could be. Sota embodies the shy, nerdy but optimistic comic artist Takatushi and gave him so much wholesomeness and charm. I can not help but adore his bravery, the way he instantly confessed to Emi, just lovely! Nana Komatsu is such a fine beauty and the way she just takes over the screen, the way he beautiful eyes lit up when she looks at her co-stars, ahhhh she is so beautiful!!Was this review helpful to you?
A LoveStory That Starts Out With A Dangerous Game!
"Lately when i wake up in the morning, the first thing that`s on my mind is that you are not too far away from me.But there will come a morning when the first thing on my mind is that you are far away from me. There will also come one day when all i think about is that i have...deceived you. Even when that day will come, I pray every single day...that i will still remember your smile."- Si Hyun (ep 28)

The story of "Tempted" is toxic with very self-destructive characters. We have the good-hearted but slightly broken female heroine Tae Hee who gets lured into a love trap by three very infamous rich bestfriends, The Male Hero Si Hyun who is the so called "The Great Seducer" but who will get seduced in return by his heroine, falling himself into the trap he set for her. We have the Second Female Su Ji who will cross any limits to succeed in her goals even if it means stepping over innocent hearts, but she has a great heart for the few people she loves, alas she will also hurt them in order to reach her goals. Second Male Character we find in the wild and kinda carefree rebel Se Joo who always tried to stick the group together.
I totally appreciated this story for what it was, a melodrama about very broken youth trying to heal and live life as fully as possible. All actors did a great job in portraying their characters, i mean all four main characters totally shined through the screen in their own way. Tae Hee & Si Hyun have something that totally made them click together on-screen, they are utterly adorable and beautiful together. I loved their scenes together, just so wholesome and touching with how devoted they become to each other.

A Great Remake of “Shadow in Love “
I have always wanted to see a remake of Nago Ruk Luang Jai from 2010 starring my favourite Thai stars Prin Mark, Nadech and Mint. Now when Tricky in Love came out as remake I was so happy since this is a story totally entertaining in all its tropes. We have stolen identity, rivalry, enemies to lovers, jealousy and a bittersweet love triangle between our kind and gentle but headstrong Anda and the two fierce rivals and cousins the adventurous and carefree Pheem , and the cold and stoic Anon. Then we have the very jealous Lisa who is sick and tired of living under her best friend’s shadow. There is Shadow of Love in all its complexity in all the relationships in this story and everyone will have to make their own decisions-whether good or bad to continue in their journey. Was this review helpful to you?
Palms on Love tied to Passion for Revenge.
We have all the tropes her for a angsty and trainwrecky romance! Separated lovers, FL being the appointed Concubine of ML´s father and FL wanting to avenge her family. 24 episodes of trainwrecky twists and turns. Full 15 episodes of our heroine cutting at Hero`s soul, breaking his heart again and again. The main leads looked good together though, and their acting was top notch. I loved how intense their fights were in the beginning , and how bitterly hurt the hero DongFeng was but still could not help but have her near him, protect her and care for her. Ah, angsty love at it finest. Was this review helpful to you?
Sweet Sweet Revenge!
This year has been filled with delicious sexy revenge c-dramas and i have been here for it! Fatal Allure was a must watch for me since we have Dai Gaozheng and Hong Xiao co-starring in a revenge drama romance. I loved every ep of it, and i love the way Dai Gao`s character was a sharp hero, though he was deadly...he would rather cut his right arm off than ever hurting his beautiful tortured heroine. I love that he stood by her side the moment he knew her true identity, poor smitten fool could not live without her. And the kissess were omg smoking! Felt like he was literally sipping her lips!!Was this review helpful to you?
One of the best J-Dramas i have watched of late...
I literally forgot to review this one since i finished it around last month, but here we are.I have also seen the original version and i am glad to say this version of You`re Beautiful is so well done. I laughed, smiled and cried with all the characters. The actress portraying the female lead did a incredible job in conveying her emotions in wearing her heart on her sleeve and the actor portraying Male Lead Yuta Tamamori did so well with his cold exterior but added that touch of heart to his character that conveyed how deeply lonely and hurt he felt. Ah, he had a heart of gold.
They were so very lovely and beautiful together. Glad i watched this drama!!

"Buang Ruk Gamathep" has been such a entertaining journey throughout all the 28 episodes. Its about Cupid`s magic, all the characters meeting together in a conflict so great we get a star-crossed lovers forbidden to love each other and the fruit of their love in the form of a child that will make enemies become lovers. First we have the main-leads siblings tragic love-story, the passiontae Pawat (played by Setjinda) & gentle Oranee (played by Noon Daran). Pawat is one of the heirs to a powerful family empire and his mother refuses to let him be together with a woman from lower class status. Not caring however good of a person Oranee really is. So she sends for Pawat`s older, cynical alpha brother Phubodee (played by Pong Nawat) for him to ruin Pawat`s relationship with Oranee. Phubodee in this case gets very agitated when he meets Oranee`s spirited and feisty younger sister Ornicha (played by Bee Namthip) who never lets him get away with his snobbish and spiteful behaviour. Their spirits clash into a fire of hatred, both unable to stand the other. But this is Cupid leading the fate of all lovers...The Magic of Cupid.
This is a slap-kiss romance that highly delivered and the cast did such a great job. I absolutely loved the chemistry between Bee & Pong, i mean wow...on-screen they look absolutely beautiful together.I love their cat-mouse game, how stubborn both were and how they never gave up without a fight. Phubodee is the villain in first part of the story, since he is mostly the cause of breaking up his younger brothers relationship with Oranee and he did it in such a despicable way i had such a hard time forgiving him for it. The tragic conclusion to it all, just so darn sad. I was really shipping Oranee & Pawat...Pawat was such a strong male character which come as a total surprise to me since most of the lakhorns i watch have the younger brother always being a weakling. Pawat was a breath of fresh air, he stood up against everyone for his love, his older brother, his mother...everyone!

This story also reminds me of "Punya Chon Kon Krua" starring Mark & Kimberly with how the FL also disguised herself and how the ML was suspicious of her from the start.

OH MY GOD! I never expected this lakhorn to wring out so many emotions from me."Mongkut Saeng Jun" (which means:"The Moonlight Crown") is a epic action romantic drama that revolves around the Moonlight Crown of Panjarat where the recent regent of the crown Konjanat will kill off both the queen and king to steal the throne for himself. He uses his fatherless nephew, the wild-hearted Teetayu (played by Andrew Gregson) and already from the start planned with him that he would make princess Sisira Sojirat Thisanamawadee (played by Rita Jensen) fall in love with him to secure the throne.Teetayu hates the royal family, especially the late king for killing his father and has no regrets over deceiving Sisira, but it becomes his own downfall when he realizes that he has sincerely loved Sisira all along. In all this chaos of betrayals, murder and greed we have the battle of wills between princess Sisira and Teetayu-learning to overcome their demons, surrendering to their love for each other and finally coming to terms with where their loyalty lies. It is a saga of honor, duty and love...every decision bad or good has its consequences.
This lakhorn starts out very strong and ended with a more clearer and strong message. Every 14 episodes of the lakhorn was worth it,and the magic between Andrew and Rita on-screen was so fiery that i longed for their every moment together.Rita`s portrayal of Princess Sisira is well done. She made me sympathisize with the character despite her not standing up for herself half of the time.I am more used to FL´s fighting their own battles, but Sisira`s trauma is simply to much to bear for her fragile mind. She lost both parents, her country is in turmoil and there are enemies everywhere. Then she has the love of her life Teetayu tormenting her in every way he can by forcefully marrying her because of his stubborness, revenge, pride and jealousy.Andrew Gregson is one of the best actors i have ever seen and he did such a darn good job portraying the wild and bitter Teetayu. He could be barbaric, rude and so illmannered that you just wanted to slap him.He had the countries absolute worst reputation and it didn`t get better when he was woking for the villain all along. But he has the soul and heart of a warrior deep rooted inside him.In there lay a honorable man.He couldn`t stand watching his uncle destroy the country and realized early on that loyalty and gratefullness for your country is more important than any other emotion. He is a fearless tiger ready to fight against his own blood for rightness. He is a hard man that gets slayed by his love for Sisira, even in the moments of hatred for her he still loved her desperately. The same goes for Sisira.Teetayu and Sisira met in the most wondrous circumstances and they manage to overcome all the obstacles between them in this hard journey.Every moment was worth it,and i got to cry and swoon and laugh together with them.
Then we have Teetayu`s three loyal musketeers.Damn how these guys were funny and how they stood by Teetayu`s side the whole time.We have the courtesan Jataree who loves Teetayu unhappily, but places his happiness above all else.I loved this badass woman! Then we have the cute elephants Teetayu used to talk with ,LOL.Those moments were so wonderful! Not Vorarit portrays Sisira`s bodyguard Manasing who gets his own character developement. He is the bodyguard who have loved the princess all his life, and it turns into a sick obsession that becomes his destruction. We have also the cold-blooded solder/killer Mayadin played by Big Sarut who will come to love Kanyapak until his last breath.I absolutely loved his character! He was so fascinating and merciless as a killer! Then we have the cause of much heartbreak, the evil selfish nang rai Kanyapak played by Joy Rinlanee who tried everything to possess Teetayu. This woman really scared me since she was capable of even murder for him.She is evil..but such a tragic character. We get high load of political intrigue, action, angst and romance to pleasure our eyes.Andrew and Rita did incredible job as a on-screen couple and with their portrayals of their characters.I will say that i have completely fallen for this drama and have no idea how to get over it.

This lakhorn is so LOVELY! It was surprisingly nice watching Mint and Andrew co-star on-screen and Mint had much improved on her acting here.I have quite become obsessed with Andrew`s acting and his dynamic presence on-screen and he really did a remarkable job as Dr Ruj.The way he walked, watched, ate and talked fit the stoic character of Ruj perfectly!I was amazed since i a lot of times forgot that Andrew even portrayed him.We get introduced to lot of fun and romance in this story. The hate to love relationship between Ruj and Araya was so sweet and entertaining. It was so romantic watching Ruj fight for her to come back to him to the very end.He was so sweet in his declarations of love and told her that she is only his,not Charlie`s or Pakanai`s.Such a romantic and possessive praek,i adore him!We have another destructive Nang Rai in form of Sowwarot (played by Charm Irvin) who is Ruj`s ex-girlfriend that never knew what she really wanted but loads of money.I quite liked her close (but kinda toxic) relationship with her father,it was them together against the whole world. This lakhorn is nicely done and well executed. The Red Mansion had such beautiful nature around it.I really enjoyed the scene where Araya showed Ruj the Lotus Flower place on the river, such a beautiful place!
