Fiery chemistry between the Leads!
Its been a time since i watched this in one go on Youtube and only just saw now that they had updated it on MDL. About time, because this one takes you back to the era where you read these really good angsty Harlequin romances.I mean, it fed my romantic heart. The anxiety, the trauma, the fierce yearning our very smitted and dashing Male lead felt for his heroine. Not knowing if she even likes him, or if she is still hung up over his more of boorish twin-brother.
Male Lead is so hot i could NOT take my eyes off him. He wore his heart on his sleeve and skillfully and passionately pursues his heroine. So much emotions they conveyed in this one. I find it one of the more memorable romantic Vertical dramas of this year.

Classic Epic Xianxia Romantic Love-Story,
that reminds you that fate is inevitable, but with enough willpower anyone can change it against the Heavens. In the story of "Fairy and Devil" we follow the resurection of the prisoned Moon Supreme Dongfang Qinsang, a soul without his love tree and who gets heart cursed with the sweet and innocent Orchid. He despises the power the Heart Curse has over him because of her, but he cannot kill her so he becomes her savior who protects,provides and nourishes her soul. Its so sweet and endearing, the way she slowly stole his cold-stone heart.Arbit Hall must be the most beautiful home i have ever seen, the home Orchid so clearly loved. I mean the light, the architecture and the overall heavenly feel it gives, just so magical i could not take my eyes away from it! This is one of those romances that can rival the love-stories in "Till the End of The Moon", "Love in the Clouds" and "Love Game in a Eastern Fantasy" and "Novoland:Castle in the Sky". You cannot take your eyes or heart off the story and its characters. You learn to love everyone of them, with their goodness and darkness. My heart felt heavy but satisfied by the end of this drama, all the obstacles Orchid & Dongfang got through...the way they suffered and loved. The way they fought so hard for each other, how neither could feel happiness without the other. I can sum it all up with one word: beautiful.

Dark romance set in the republic era of China. It has the ingredients of a classic slap-kiss, that was indeed very well done in the Vertical Drama format. Revenge, hatred, second chance at love, secret child, sorching hot passion & jealousy. Angst in its darkest form, the Marshal Male Hero hates to love his child-hood sweetheart whose father caused the execution of 13 of his family members. His forbidden love that was in a arranged engagement with his uncle. But alas he loved her in such a sorching burning way that it was self-destructive...and to not hurt her in his anger, he repeatedly hurt himself bodily, while also enslaving her in a torment of humiliation in the status as his mistress/plaything. But while his words hurt, his eyes spoke of unhidden desire and yearning for her love. It was so hard to watch these two in a clashing force of fire against each other, these destined lovers.Ben Wang`s best role in my opinion. He is so dark and tortured, in constant grief and torment. Miserable in loving a woman he is not supposed to love, but whom he cannot tear his heart away from.The way he constantly gazed at her..touched her.His raging passion & jealousy,oh yeah!!! He is a magnificent force of a creature, alpha male in his right. Ready to challenge anything and anyone in order to possess his beloved. He never could let her go even when she begged him to.

This story is 10/10 for me in all ways! Truly heartwrenching love-story with beautiful looking main leads! What the Male Hero had to sacrifice in order to let her go with the way she threatened him in the past-no wonder he had hard time believing her in present time.The chemistry is chef`s kiss as well! Truly stunning on-screen! I love the way she truly tried to show him how much he means to her-in the same way Male hero was ruthless enough to punish anyone the same way they tried to hurt his beloved heroine, his lovely rose.He had no limits to what he would do for her.

is the tale of "Once Upon a Dream" where the orphan female heroine QingTang dreams of her gurdian/older brother Pei Cong Zhi (not blood related) who took her in at her most desperate moment when she was eight years old, gets caught up in a erotic dream where he seduces her, but then the dream takes on a darker turn where he locks her up in a cage- the so called Golden Love Cage. Little does she know, that this dream would end up really happening.Chinese Dramas really deliver on angst that just leaves you dumbfounded with shock, and this drama is one of them. I cannot`t rate it any less since i found it greatly entertaining and touching in a twisted sort of way. The actress portraying the heroine is so beautiful and i was happy to see her since i also had seen her in "Bound by Sin" before and she is so great at portraying calculating characters. In this story she desperately wanted to be free and found the hero`s love suffocating. CongZhi is a man who does not know how to love, since no one had ever shown it to him. He hurt her a lot in his way of trying to keep her,he could be so viscous and cruel..no wonder she wanted to escape his clutches. He is one of the most possessive heroes, and he deserves to be on that list.The way his eyes watched her, always...ah my heart!!Even if it was in his motive for loving her, he only pushed her further away. The way these two took over in their every scene, clashing and challenging each other...their fights are awesomely fierce and the way he ALWAYS KNEW what she was planning ahead,lol. She never could trick him, since he is the master of all tricksters. This is one of those great dark love-stories, and it is unforgettable!

Fake it Til You Make It
is literally the title when i searched for it in Dramafren and wowzaaa such a amazing story! Well directed and so well written! FL is a vixen who desperately tries to escape her hopeless family situation and schemes a plot to get the attention of SML who is the bestfriend the very cold and domineering ML who despises her on sight, not only because her beauty intrigued him, because she ignored him while walking towards SML. His fierce pride and distaste for her could not stop him from falling helplessly in love with her, he said it in his own words.Actress portraying FL looks absolutely breathtaking, her dressess stunning looking and her determination and grace so well shown in her stubborn stance, even towards the cynical ML she refused to back off. I love the even with the sexual tension between them, they had this deep connection neither of them understood. ML was absolutely flabbergasted by the Lily tatoo on her leg and her knowledge of sculpture Art making. What he did for her brought tears to my eyes, even FL was touched by his deep love for her. Her target had been his bestfriend, but he wishes she would have picked him instead,just awwww.

This drama got me so hooked!!
I enjoy most of the dramas i binge watch, but "Love at the Edge of Divorce" got me hooked and addicted from the first episode! Like the title says, we have a married couple that actually have never seen each other because of Male Hero`s hatred of her family and their greed. The heroine Sheng Miang is rightly hurt by his coldness, but she lives on with her life and has a career in interior designs as the pseudonym Penny. In a course of fate the pride and arrogant hero Yancheng`s heart gets moved by Penny not knowing she is his wife Sheng Miang. I love that the moment he understands that Penny only chased after him wanting his project all his walls fell down and he totally let himself be consumed by her and he pursued her love in return.The way he looks at his heroine, with a love so deep and powerful that it hurt to watch them together sometimes.Touched with a core of possessiveness, he loves her madly and desperately! No wonder our sweet heroine was touched by him!!Just a beautiful and passionate love-story...you keep glued in your seat waiting for him to realize that the woman he loves is the wife he despises! I also adored his grandfather who KNEW that they were meant for each other!

At the start of this story there is a young prince riding along the sands of the desert in the arabian Quhar, he is always waiting while looking over at quietness and mystery of the desert...always waiting. As a man many years later he runs along the desert with anguished sobs and cries out to the desert and the Gods why his heroine won`t accept him as a man. This prince is Karim Abdullah (portrayed by Willie McIntosh) , his name has the meaning of "honorable and "generous". He is the hero of this story. Born into a arabian kingdom as a half-breed, as a orphan and with a aunt and cousin that detests the sight of him. He loves his beloved uncle Hassan who introduces him to his step-daughter, our very sharp but beautiful heroine Danielle (portrayed by Mew Lalita), her name embodies beauty, intellect, and defiance and she stays true to her character throughout. But she is afraid of the one man bold and dynamic enough to steal her breath away with just one glance. But she will deny him marriage and defy his heart and run away from him...not realizing that she is only running from her own heart.
This is one powerful story of a lakhorn. This story and its characters just gripped me. I am in absolute awe. Ah, it was so romantic and hella exciting and absolutely stunning of a picture!! Willie as the arabian prince Karim Abdullah totally stole my heart and his love for Danielle just made me cry everytime she denied him and tried to hurt him. She did not trust him, especially since there were many side characters that lied about him to her and wrote him off as a terrible monster. At least Karim made her realize for herself what a man he is and yesss yess girl your man is sexy as heck!!! He was so passionate i had to fan my face all the time.LOL. This lakhorn is also based on a Harlequin Presents Romance novel written by Penny Jordan with the title "Daughter of Hassan" which i find awesome since its one of my favourite authors. Mew Lalita was absolutely stunning as the heroine Danielle and omg her outfits blew my mind away! She was so much in her feminime aura that even i fell for her! I give this lakhorn 10/10 and i feel so lucky that i found it with eng subs! This is a lakhorn not to be missed and i lost sleep over this one for three whole nights! This was one hell of a journey, i will miss Karim & Danielle so much!

Oh my god. I have no idea whatsoever i am gonna do with my life now. "Maid`s Revenge" was such a thrilling, dark, enfuriating, addictive, smart and sexy epic romance that gave me everything i craved in this genre. Tingyao is a cute heroine with a wonderful character developement but it is the beautiful alpha warlord Male Hero Tian Yi that totally took my breath away with his stunning looks and acting. He was raw male power and oozed so much sex appeal i had to take my eyes off the screen sometimes because i had to FREAKING BREATH with how beautifully dangerous and sexy he was.
Gao Zheng did this character so well that i am stunned. His acting was so natural and fitting of this powerful character that execuded power, authority, strength and such sex appeal, but also showing his heart through his eyes. When he looked at his female heroine with such agony and longing i just wanted to cry. He is one of my favourite on-screen heroes. Never gonna get over him, just sayin.Ahh

I also love his grandfather by the way, ahh that man made me crack up a lot of times with the way he was so invested in the romantic soap operas he was watching. Shin Ha Ri is a lovely fun heroine that lighted up the screen, i have seen this actress in "School 2017" and i just love her screen presence so much. She had great chemistry with her male lead.
Again, i am glad i picked this up. Made my days much funnier and bright.

I absolutely loved the OST, especially "Because I Love You" whenever Nai and Paul were together. Ahhhh their chemistry is just so darn good! Their first kiss on the beach while it was raining almost killed me! The actor portraying Paul is such a sexy kisser!

How their love-story unfolded made me giddy,excited,happy...and cry so many happy and sad tears.Athit and Paeng are both wonderful characters to love and root for.Mark and Kao did a INCREDIBLE job in performing these two well-crafted characters.Wow, i am completely amazed!I also fell in love with the whole cast,wonderful job from everyone!

Sometimes i wonder if it`s only dramas that can make me so emotional like this,unlike reality.This romantic fantasy drama was a major hit in South Korea and received immense popularity across Asia,starring the great korean stars Jun Ji-hyun and Kim Soo-hyun as the made leads,they instantly brain-wash you into this one amazing impossible Love-story..ahh one of the greatest.I adore both the hero and heroine.Fate was always behind them,and it was time for them to madly fall in love with each other.Song Yi was a very self-loving actress from the start,but really came to be a worthy heroine.Her crazy humor just made me laugh out many times and i just rooted for her with all my heart.As for Do Min-joon (remember the actor from "Dream High",oh he was such a sweetheart),how could you not fall in love with him,when he is the hero every girl wish for.He was doomed when it came to Song Yi already from the start..the power of love.I also very much adored the second male-lead Hee-kyung played by Park Hae-jin are very irresistible too with his charming Golden Boy looks and attitude."My Love from the Star" will make you feel every possible emotion you can feel,ladies and gentlemen!..and get ready for it!

One of the most heart-breaking dramas ever and one of the earlier japanese dramas i have watched, "One Litre of Tears" delivers a sad love story between two teenagers Aya and her newfound friendship with Haruto which blossoms to a bittersweet love. I remember crying rivers to this story...Now after all this years i still remember how good it felt to be hurt by this drama.
Its a must-Watch if you are into classics and tearjerkers!

I watched this one while it got subbed, how i remember when i got frustrated when i couldn`t watch the next episode cuz it wasn`t subbed. Either way this a story that takes place 10 years since legendary F4 members Tsukasa Domyoji, Rui Hanazawa, Sojiro Nishikado and Akira Mimasaka have graduated from Eitoku Academy. Now another group has taken over the school which are C5 and their leader is the notorious Haruto Kaguragi who falls in love with Oto Edogawa, a girl whose fathers business got bankrupt and are now trying to hide that she is poor. But neither did Haruto know that Oto are engaged to his biggest rival Tenma Hase. Oh how i came to adore this series. We also get to see Domyjoji in a flashback where he saves Haruto. I love it when his love for Makino got mentioned. This drama has its own special classic feeling to it and i never got bored. I love how smitten Haruto are with Oto (like Domyjojo was with Makino) and the love-triangle are bitter-sweet to. A MUST-WATCH if you want some romance and high-school drama!
