Cute romance & Annoying SFL!

Deng Ling & Zheng Hui totally took my breath away as love-leads in "The Prince is too Wild" so i definitely was hungry for the sight of their duo again and i am sooo happy i finally found a good link on dailymotion with eng subs!
I had seen another version of the same story where the heroine grew up in a village and comes to the city to help her self-centered adopted sister. When she finds work at a hotel she befriends the very caring Boss who helps her every time she is in trouble. In this story they are child-hood victims of kidnapping and shared jade pendants. ML has spent his time looking her his child-hood companion for years- to keep his child-hood promise of marrying her. But the self-centered sister takes on FL´s identity. Male Hero`s nephew is soooo cute by the way***

Siege in Fog-a story that broke my heart in its essence.

There is something about the dramas adapted by Fei Wo Si Cun novels that always tugs at my heart. I always manage to fall in love with them, however faulted they are. I finished Siege in Fog with my little sister, it had actually been my third time re-watching it but i never managed to finish it until the third time becaue of how hard the second part of this drama actually becomes and i don`t mean that in a bad way. While the first part builds the plot up in both past and present the second part is filled with decisions and confrontations which were hard to bear. I loved the relationship Lian Kai had with his brothers and how he managed to steal his wife`s Qin Sang`s heart. They were beautiful together, fated soulmates indeed.

Heartbreaking, stunning,epic and wondrous...

"A Fox sits atop a sand dune, sitting on the sand dunes, gazing at the moon. Turns out that his gaze is not upon the moon. Alone waiting for the shepherd girl to return." -Ost "Little Fox"

Historical epic romantic adventure filled with politic intrigues and how awful deceptive greed brings everyone down in this story. "Goodbye my princess" is based on a novel Eastern Palace written by the famous chinese author Fei Wo Si Cun (who also wrote masterpieces like "Too Late to say i love you" and "Siege in Fog" and "Sealed with a Kiss".) " Goodbye my princess" stars Chen Xing Xu as the becoming Crown Prince Li Cheng Yin and Peng Xiao Ran as the very beautiful princess Xiao Feng. All the characters had their purpose and the story was haunting in its clear sad beauty. Their love-story was cursed before it even began, how they jump into the river of forgetfullness and how their souls still never forgot each other when their minds did. All the actors did a terrific job, Li Cheng Yin never ceased to make me surprised by how calculating and ruthless he could be, bordering on being a monster. This story made my heart bleed. I don`t know what I can write anymore, this drama has made me at loss for words.

"What happened in Bali" is a story that sticks with you for a long time after you finish watching it. It is highly gripping and haunting with some beautiful OST`s and a charismatic cast that performed their characters as if their lives depended on it. The first episode was kind of slow (still enjoyable) and the drama soon picked up from the second episode, every episode after that picked up the pace into different stages to reach one of the most shocking conclusions ever. Everything was leading up into a trainwreck becasue of all the decisions the maincharacters made in this drama. This is not a love-story per say, it is much darker than that. I could not look away.

Soo Jung is a orphan who tries to survive in a harsh world. She is the tour guide the other main-characers meets in Bali, and it changes everything. I loved how complex she was, how darn pitiful and how she made selfish decisions. It would have not worked out if it weren`t for how much heart the actresss portrayed into the character. She is streetsmart, knows when to take advantage and could be selfish when it came to her greed. But she was nice, grateful, strong. A bit lost sometimes, but she pulled it thorugh. That ending though...ah the ending.

Jae min was the real star in this drama. Omg, what a passionate, mad, and violent character. I totally loved him! Never a boring moment with him. The way he naturally fell in love with Soo Jung and wanted to do anything to keep her. He wanted her by his side. The way he would break down in front of her, begging for her affection. Just broke my heart. I love it when he does find the inner man inside of him, and wants nothing of life if it has not Soo jung in it. He slowly started to go insane after he lost her. Never realizing that she may have given him something she said she would never want to give him. That ending...oh lord.

Oh my god.

Where to start off with this lakhorn?
It is a trainwreck, a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. We have a Anti-hero named Pummared (played by Pong Nawat) that is handsome, arrogant, clever, manipulative and so seductive that he is able to catch the heart of three sisters. His game of deception and seduction for his quest for revenge is a highly addictive journey-because you keep wait for the axe to fall. For him to break apart and realize that it is him who has been deceieved all along-his whole life. He was groomed for this plan of revenge, it was all he knew. All he thought he was destined for. And it was all a lie. He ruined the life of three innocent sisters for a lie.

Between the three sisters, it is the middle sister Noy (played by Pimmada Boriruk) that cathes him by surprise. He finds himself unwillingly falling for her sharp spirit and honesty and beauty. She knows his game and wants none of it. (there is a moment between them i find so darn romantic: its the nightscene with the fireflies, ahhhh) But at a moment of choice halfway through his journey he still chooses revenge...and that love gets lost to him forever. He marries the oldest sister and leaves her the first night-having taken all her shares of ownerships from her. He also made the youngest sister his secret mistress/wife and even made her pregnant. This is not only it people, this is a catastrophe of all hell dimensions, where every decision has its consuquences.

Pong Nawat at the early stage of his career was still finding his style in acting, and i feel like he did such a great job at portraying a flawed character like Pummared who knew no better than acting on revenge-and being cunning and heartless enough to do ANYTHING to get to his goal. His character is still so darn tragic in its essence. Its like the Frankenstein in some sense. He was groomed into thinking the way he does by his father, and when he still hesitated his father was there to manipulate and lie to him again. He was so torn, so darn broken. He knew it would ruin his life, that he never would be free. Ah, what a tragic hero he became. This story broke my heart.

Some people would say that this movie is garbage and a waste of time. It is too over the top, just wayyyyy over the top with some stupid sense of humor in lots of scenes. But it is aimed to the younger audience, its obvious this movie is made with a lot of joy and love. Vice Ganda, Daniel Padilla and Pia Wurtzbach all played the important main characters in this story. Karla Estrada also portrayed one of the supporting characters.Near the end of the movie, in the climax scene where Vice character has to decide if he wants to stay dead or live further, he answers that he rather wants to be dead. The world is too ugly, people too much complicated. They never see the good things you do, but never forgets the bad things from you. Its a rather sad truth and i agreed with him wholeheartedly. Vice Ganda is a great actor and its easy to see why he is so well known for his comedy movies in the Phillippines. I also love watching him together with Daniel Padilla on-screen ever since i saw their first movie together in "Sisterakas". I also smiled huge when i saw Kathryn Bernardo making a special appearance in the end, and how Daniel just hugged her happily! Ah they are so cute!

This lakhorn was a delight to watch!"Bow See Chompoo" (which means; Pink Ribbon") from 2004 starring the good-looking leads Chakrit Yamnam as "Pon" Kritchapon and Angie Hastings as Bo Srisamorn. Its a romantic comedy with a bit of dramatic suspense near the end and follows the story of our beautiful gold-digger of nangek Bo who lives with her nephew and bestfriend and thinks money can buy your happiness. She however has a huge problem when she realizes she have made herself engaged with two men,who both are father and son. The problem becomes more chaotic when her fiance`s friend, a rich hotel owner Kritchapon knows of her deceit and he does everything to make her life miserable. Both are clearly attracted to each other from first sight and bicker everytime they meet. They have many obstacles to overcome before they get to their happy ever after.

Chakrit in his younger days was so handsome!God how i love watching him on-screen!And his on-screen chemistry with Angie was totally on fire! This is also my first time seeing Angie on-screen and my my how she stole the show!SHE LOOKS ABSOLUTE GORGEOUS!Its also unique how right Pon was about Bo caring about money all the time when usually all the other praeks got it wrong. In this case Po did care about money, but she has reasons for it.She was never mean or being a bitch and her love for her sister and nephew was adorable and she totally stole my heart with how sweet and sassy she was!Pon totally falls for her against his will and even keeps the pink ribbon she gave him to stop his bleeding when he got hurt.Pon and Bo totally took over the whole lakhorn with their entertaining love-story!The cast also did a great job, even while the jealous neighbour of Bo was annoying she also made me laugh quite a few times.

"God, please give me more time" is a japanese romantic drama from 1998 starring Fukada Kyoko as the teenager Kano Masaki who finds herself being infected with HIV and Kaneshiro Takeshi as the popular music composer Ishikawa Keigo who is still mourning the death of his lover. These two unlikely individuals meet on a fateful night where their fates forever will be intervened into a string of joy, hope and love.

This drama was not easy to watch since it really explored rather sad topics like HIV,AIDS,prostitution, divorce, infidelity, death and abortion.Masaki is a young girl lost in her life with a family that live their own lives and friends who does same things over and over. Not to mention how usual it is that Tokyo high-schoolers sells their bodies for things they want.(i can imagine how normal this was in the 90s).Masaki refuses to believe that this is all to her life and i love how she questions it.But she is truly passionate when it comes to listening to the lyrics Keigo has composed,in which she feels the pain and loneliness Keigo suffers.Keigo is a irresistible force who finds the means of living when he meets the carefree Masaki.I love how he stayed true to her as a friend, then later lover and then as a husband. It was so bittersweet watching how these two tried to overcome all the obstacles and refused to leave each other to the bitter end.

The Guide to Conquering a Black Lotus- In its Enthralling,Magical,Whimsical Glory.

I could not look away. My eyes, heart and soul were captured by all Episodes that "Love Game in Eastern Fantasy" delivered. I always had it in my back of my mind to watch this HitDrama ever since i saw it airing on youtube but i never came around to it until now, unsure if it would be to my taste and time. Oh, i should have known better.

We follow the heroine and her group of friends that eventually calls themselves the five Bamboo Masters. Dedicated to capture evil demons and save the world. It is an unforgettable adventure filled with obstacles during their hard journey, but firm bonds get created. Everyone of them connects with their past and deal with accepting themselves.

In the centre of this adventure we have the (Oh so) smoldering romance between the Demon Catcher MuSheng, who despises the heroine MiaoMiao early in this story, not knowing she transmigrated from another parallel universe to change the ending of this novel. So the system decides that MiaoMiao need to conquer the heart of the very ruthless and brooding MuSheng.

(I live for Romance Stories, like this)

I mean, sparks. So many sparks between MiaoMiao & MuSheng that my eyes literally hurt and i could NOT STOP smiling like a love-sick fool everytime they appeared on-screen. Their romance is overflowing and incredibly developed. I mean their charm, their hilarious bickering and banter. To watch the high and mighty MuSheng who cares for nobody and nothing but his sister MuYao TOTALLY FALL HEAD OVER HEELS FOR our sweet heroine MiaoMiao. Esther & YuXi totally won me over with their captivating performances and on-screen chemistry. The way he gazed at her with such fervent longing and adoration.

I mean, my heart could not handle that! Their love-story folks, is absolutely out of this world heartwrenchingly beautiful. MuSheng is a hero to die for, never expected to have my heart stolen by him like this. His stubborn and fierce nature, his hilarious moody features, how he oozed danger and charm in a very APPEALING WAY. I mean i found him so attractive!

Yeah, i am totally gushing and fan-girling! I am gonna miss everyone in Love Game in Eastern Fantasy. When the Ending Credits rolled in the Final Ep my tears just flew down even more.So many memorable memories! Roller coaster of emotions this story gave me, Truly a Gem of a Treasure.

Fiery chemistry between the Leads!

Its been a time since i watched this in one go on Youtube and only just saw now that they had updated it on MDL. About time, because this one takes you back to the era where you read these really good angsty Harlequin romances.

I mean, it fed my romantic heart. The anxiety, the trauma, the fierce yearning our very smitted and dashing Male lead felt for his heroine. Not knowing if she even likes him, or if she is still hung up over his more of boorish twin-brother.

Male Lead is so hot i could NOT take my eyes off him. He wore his heart on his sleeve and skillfully and passionately pursues his heroine. So much emotions they conveyed in this one. I find it one of the more memorable romantic Vertical dramas of this year.

A Totally Unresistible Love-Story...

in all its wonder, youth and glory. Two individuals that may have met on a strange coincidence at the train, or a certain heroine manipulating that moment, or even the strange ties and work of the Cupid, alas fate. But indeed they were fated to fall in love, in this case our badboy male hero portrayed by the very beautiful actor Wang Xuan( huge fan of his work), falls first...and the poor sod falls hard.

He gave his heart to her in a silver platter. I love the feel this drama gave, it felt like a street town-ish environment with the new, cold and quite shy heroine and the so called trouble maker hero who saves her from trouble all the time. Their chemistry is simply terrific, and there were moments with them looking at each other i could feel MY OWN TIME LITERALLY STOP! They are that good in portraying Romance on-screen nowadays, breathless excitement is what this story gave me. Sending it so many stars in my heart..!

The Reborn Rose...a wonderful version!

This story is 10/10 for me in all ways! Truly heartwrenching love-story with beautiful looking main leads! What the Male Hero had to sacrifice in order to let her go with the way she threatened him in the past-no wonder he had hard time believing her in present time.

The chemistry is chef`s kiss as well! Truly stunning on-screen! I love the way she truly tried to show him how much he means to her-in the same way Male hero was ruthless enough to punish anyone the same way they tried to hurt his beloved heroine, his lovely rose.He had no limits to what he would do for her.

Fake it Til You Make It

is literally the title when i searched for it in Dramafren and wowzaaa such a amazing story! Well directed and so well written! FL is a vixen who desperately tries to escape her hopeless family situation and schemes a plot to get the attention of SML who is the bestfriend the very cold and domineering ML who despises her on sight, not only because her beauty intrigued him, because she ignored him while walking towards SML. His fierce pride and distaste for her could not stop him from falling helplessly in love with her, he said it in his own words.

Actress portraying FL looks absolutely breathtaking, her dressess stunning looking and her determination and grace so well shown in her stubborn stance, even towards the cynical ML she refused to back off. I love the even with the sexual tension between them, they had this deep connection neither of them understood. ML was absolutely flabbergasted by the Lily tatoo on her leg and her knowledge of sculpture Art making. What he did for her brought tears to my eyes, even FL was touched by his deep love for her. Her target had been his bestfriend, but he wishes she would have picked him instead, just awwww.

I watched it for Cavan Wen! Either way...the trainwreck!

This drama had one of my most beloved tropes which is the change of identity and of face surgery where our Male Lead thinks his beloved female lead betrayed him. He is a man bent of fury and hatred of the woman he once so desperately loved. He hurt her in all the way he knew to hurt her. It was heartbreaking to watch. He was only digging his own grave and he let his bitterness and jealousy consume him until there was no way left for her to actually forgive him when all secrets were revealed. And that ending....oh god that ending.
