Yandere Male Lead gets reborn to steal the heart of his Sweet Rose...

in this case the heroine who he so viciously kidnapped and locked up in their past lives. When tragedy strikes and she dies he dies together with her. When they are reborn he is the only one who remembers their past life and he uses his cards correctly this time and puts his own dark obsession under control. Even touching her shakes him up, poor sod. But he makes it and fully earns her trust. Their chemistry and acting are wonderful in this drama, those kissess, whewww totally burned my computer in flames!!Liang SiWei is so sexy i just C.A.N.`T stand it! He is one of the few male actors whose seductive smirk makes my heart beat faster like crazy!! I have by the way seen these two co-star in another drama set in the 40s Republic. They are really good together on-screen!

The first season of "He is into her" totally made me fall in love with the story and all the characters, especially the hate-love romance between Maxpein & Deib. They have become so iconic in such short time and i was so excited when the second season came out and i finally got the time to sit down and watch it after i re-watched season 1. Again, what a wonderful and bittersweet conclusion to the fates of characters that grow up, learn about love and life and fight for your happiness. In this case we knew that a terrible break up was fated to be for the star-crossed lovers because of a past that tied them together. My heart and soul hurt for both Maxpein & Deib. They were so torn and heartbroken. Obstacles never ending and becoming worse. Still they loved each other even more and even managed to love each other in a mature way, letting the other grow...letting your soulmate fly. Thats how much Deib loved Max. Thats how much Max loved Deib. They never let go of each other hands even at the most terrible time. I cried buckets when Deib still held out a umbrella to the sobbing Max in the rain just after she broke his heart. One of my favourite moments in the entire drama. It was romantic, it was so darn sad, it was epic.

Exhilarating and Stunning, "Ra Rerng Fai" is a hardcore romantic slap-kiss that presents Vengeance, betrayal, torment, family, honor and are so full of deceptions that it mindblowns you. Starring the legendary Ken Theeradeth as the ruthless Shakrit and actress Noon Wongsawan (my first time watching her on-screen) as Yada, their long time experience of acting truly paid off in this well received drama and you can`t take your eyes off them when you watch them interact and sees how their chemistry sets the screen on fire.We have a wonderful tail of cast and a darkness to the drama that makes your heart beat faster. From the start Shakrit really comes off as a devious sociopath, where he leaves Yada`s sister on their wedding day and watches the whole hell he creates with a cold satisfaction. It`s said that its the father he wants make suffer, but he chooses to create havoc for his children too just for the fun of it, and because it makes the father suffer 100 times more when he sees his children suffer. The oldest one of the children is the daughter Yada who just came back from Switzerland to attend her sisters wedding. Very different from her younger sister who is a very gentle human being,Yada has a mind of steel and takes charge whenever she comes into a room. Not having ever seen her sisters groom she doesn`t realize he is the same man who stopped the lift for her, or brought her coffe when her father falled ill on hospital. Shakrit is a master on deception and does it unfeelingly and cooly. But when Noon later on realizes the truth at the end of 1:st episode Shakrit tells her dangerously not to chase him, "because i like to be the one to do the chasing".

A war forms between Yada and Shakrit, a dangerous game where one will have to win, and Yada are magnificent in standing on her ground against the mighty Shakrit, and never hesitated to challenge him. But against his will Shakrit does desire her, and gets fascinated by her spirit...and also her vulnerability that touched him in a way no ones feelings ever touched him before. Using blackmail he soon also forces her to marry him, and while declaring that its for revenge against her father,we see that its because he have strong feelings for her and its such a beautiful view to see him treat her like his woman. He cherishes her and protects her,and even trusts her when he never trusted anyone for 20 years. His bestfriend Tassana has his growing romance with Yadas younger sister Khem, and there is a third romance between Shakrit`s adopted sister Chayanee and Yadas hot-tempered younger brother Traitot, and damn how i also enjoyed their love-hate relationship!!All the forced kisses between Shakrit and Yada was yummi as hell as the chemistry was BURNING OFF the screen all the time, and watching a shirtless Ken? Mindblowing and made me wave a hand over my face just because i couldn`t stop getting hot all over Ken`s irresistible sexiness!!!!Damn how that man aged well over the years, damn damn!!!!All is fair in love and war, so see how Shakrit gets his revenge..and eventually redemption and watch him give up everything in the name of love

He is THAT special man no one can tame

and she is THE special woman who will change him...through the power of love.

If you guys haven`t watched "Sawan Biang", then i have no idea whatever you have been doing all your life. I just finished re-watching it today, and i am just crying of joy all over again! It`s a train-wreck and it never gets boring. Having raw slap-kiss in it the story presents revenge, family, jealousy, forgiveness,redemption..and least of all the power of love.

This is a classic and have been adapted many times, but the version from 2008 starring the legendary nr:1 koo-jin at that time (in this generation NY is the nr:1 koo-jin) Ken Theeradeth and Anne Thongprasom is the most famous and highest rated and had won many awards at that time. Until now no one ever forgets the dynamic performance of Ken, as the selfish and arrogant billionare heir Kawee. Kawee is a hate-ful character who rages a war against the world and his father, who always re-marries women, which Kawee hates.Kawee is so full of himself that he thinks that every woman in the world should consider herself lucky even breathing the same air as him (trust me,he is THAT pompous). In to his world comes the first woman who has ever defied him, the gentle but very stubborn florist Narin (played by Anne). Kawee despises her directly for being "arrogant" enough with her stabbing insults and that she is the younger sister of Leela, the girl who practically stalked him in school years ago. And Narin is disgusted by the brutally and humilating way he rejected Leela in public which caused her also to almost die in a car-accident.It doesn`t get better when Kawee gets furious with a murder-like sense when he gets to know that Leela is going to marry his now widowed father, and on that point the bitter and raging war starts between Kawee and Leela, with Narin being the thread between them.

But we watchers see the spark between Kawee and Narin from the start, its quick but its there, and from then on we will watch the self-important Kawee fall in love (against his will) with the beautiful Narin, seeing the goodness in her heart while he hurls all his terrible hatred of revenge for Leela on Narin is painful, as Anne plays the victim very well in Narin through the heart-breaking tears. There is no male-hero more mean than Kawee in the history of lakhorns. He is can`t be called an Anti-hero, but he is a true Villian himself. He is not only cold-hearted, but he is heart-less and venoumus, nor is he only ruthless, but he is also barbaric. Ken is magnificent in his role as Kawee, the wicked expressions and stance of his and the dynamic way he presents himself...and in the thunderous way he destroys everything around him. He is a character i have called bastard (and ass-hole) so many times i have forgotten it, but he is irresistible with his animalistic male sexuality...and sympathetic with his tortured soul who lacked the love from a father he so desperately needed after his mother died.Trust me, you can`t take your eyes off him, he is THAT charismatic! Anne who always plays the cheerful spoiled heroine in many of her other lakhorns, is a woman whose soul gets battered by Kawee in this lakhorn as Narin. From the start she had a witty and confident character that refused to surrender to Kawee`s cruelty..or passion and love, and neither does she either (which i so admire her for) until the end.!

"Sawan Biang" is a soap-opera that gets you addicted to it.It is never an easy journey with the hate-love romance between Kawee and Narin, but its unforgettable and epic and brings very powerful performances from the whole main-cast.For me it has everything i love in a romance, passionate alpha-hero,mindblowing chemistry, love that starts with revenge, and an incredible love that is so painful, that i as a viewer cried my tears off. It´s heart-breaking and beautiful, and i recommend it to every Lakhorn Lover. The original title means actually "Heaven Diversion", and the cause of it is explained in this text:

"Love happening during revenge

is like heaven diverts his and her paths

to merge with each other."

-Krisna Asokesin (the author of the novel)

"Raeng Pradtanaha" (which means:Heated Desires) is a thai lakhorn from 2013 that shows diversity in the social classes through the hate-love relationship between the sassy diva Krathae "Thae" played by Kimberly Voltemas and the adopted honorable and golden-hearted foster-brother of hers Pittaya "Pitt" played by Nadech Kugimiya. Both Thae and Pitt grew up in the same household and were best friends until Pitt left for University. His distance hurt her feelings which makes her lash out on him every chance she gets. Now she literally does everything to make his life miserable and always reminds him that he is only adopted and if it were for her he woul have been thrown away on the streets. But Pitt never surrendered to her bullying and always defended himself against her bratty behaviour. In this way, both becomes enemies. It only becomes worse when Thae decides to ruin his relationship with his girlfriend Rawee played by Mint Nutwara.Ahhh Thae indeed was a refreshing character after i had to endure so many "nice" heroines throughout many lakhorns.

What i love about Thae and Pitt is that there is so much contrast in their chemistry together. They don`t even have to kiss, the chemistry is THERE all the time.Thae is a strong, determined and vicious heroine from the start but when she understand the depth of her despicable actions towards Pitt..she understands that he is the last person who deserves this.So after their marriage she finally changes into a heroine worthy of Pitts irrevocable devotion.Pitt is born as a illegitimate child which was very painful to watch since EVERYONE always reminded and spurned him for it.Even with the obvious care and love from his adoptive family he still grew up thinking himself unworthy of Thae.I felt so sorry for him when even his biological father rejects his presence in front of everyone and declares what a mistake he is.Nadech did so well in expressing the agony and pain Pitt felt in those awful moments. He never losed control or lashed out...he was that much of a patient character. What i also love about him is the way he never could resist Thae.He denied himself of loving her even to himself so much that he forces himself to love Rawee.Thae once said to Rawee that she have never even seen Pitt laugh with Rawee, while he always laughs in the presence of Thae.

I really recommend watching this lakhorn,it has wonderful tropes in the romance genre like hate-love,marriage of convenience,love-triangle,jealousy,passion and fighting for what you believe in.Nadech and Kimmy did an incredible job in here, both performances was phenomenal and their on-screen chemistry was incredible.I love re-watching this lakhorn once every year!

I am rating this Mini-drama higher stars because of the trainwreck it was!

"Abstitent Boss has Fallen" had me on my seat over all the three hours i watched it. I mean, wow.Quite a dark journey! One of the better written vertical dramas where every second scene hit me like a slap and i just wanted to marvel over all the crazy situations the very damsel in distress heroine put herself in. Poor girl had to even squash her dignity, all for her beloved sick sister. The transactional relationship she has with the very rich and powerful Male Hero was humiliating and toxic, and the difference in that relationship with other MCs relationships i have seen in other dramas is that the ML let the FL feel the humiliation every step of the way.

He tried really hard just to treat her like a plaything, desiring her body while refusing to even care for her. I mean, he was one cold-blooded piece of sh**! The psychological aspect of his situation was way more understandable when you see how extremely guilt ridden he is over his fiance`s car accident which had her sleep in a coma for one year and being a cripple when she woke up. The fiance uses emotional blackmail and manipulation every chance she gets, but i like the emotional developement in the relationship between the mainleads...how he slowly and carefully shreds away the layer of indifference and against his will cares for...and passionately falls in love with his heroine.

Reminded me of Goodbye my Princess & Till the End of the Moon.

I finished this drama over night and i am so overcome with emotions it makes my heart hurt .

Jin Chen is a ML in the form of a villain. His love for Yao was doomed before it even started because in a world of power hungry politicians and brothers Jin Chen had to become more cunning, vicious and ruthless than them,at the cost of his humanity which he entirely lost the moment Yao decides to leave him.

His words to her:”You are all that i have left ” was said calmly but firmly, indicating for her to understand (and us viewers) how lonely and starved he is of her love. He sometimes reminded me of Tantai Jin,utterly heartbreaking.

Yao is such an admirable heroine stuck in the never ending cycle. Her anguish and grief, her blooming love turned into cool hatred tied to the knowledge (especially at the end) that she would have gladly accepted Jin Chen ’s blinding love if it weren’t for his past involvement. This is indeed the tragedy of Love & Bid Farewell.

The angst, the depressing undertone...the darkness!

This was a trainwreck, wow!!China has really nailed the romantic angst when it comes to the storylines and the execution in their dramas. Blazing Elegance will definitely make you uncomfortable, set in the republic historical setting of China, just as the tensions and the war brew out between Japan and China, we have a forbidden love-story between two sweethearts (or yeah it doesn`t get that sweet later on) The only heir of the Grand Warlord Yi Qiuting and the school teacher Xingrou. Yi Qiuting is a dominating force, stubborn in everything he does and does not take no for an answer. His family was against his desicion in marrying Xingrou, so he did very immoral stuff to keep her with him. It was terrible the stuff he did and the way she desperately tried to escape his so called Cage of Love. His love suffocated her eventually. But in her heart she always understood his actions, she had that understanding for him. Even if it took her so long to forgive him, she also gave him a great deal of his own medicine by the way. Hehe! This story made me anxious, sad and giddy at the same time. I binge-watched it in one go.

First time seeing the mainleads and they did by the way AWESOME job of portraying the couple`s complex relationship. Qiuting`s words: "If you die i will eat your ashes"-straight crazy cold line by him. But such a utterly lost, sick and hopeless fool when it comes to his beloved heroine.

Felt like reading a Romance Novel!

This story is filled with romance, the promise of passion and intensity and hardcore love! My first time seeing ML on-screen and man can he act. SO NATURAL in his expressions. He could be quiet, but damn scary in his intensity. Deadly & dangerous, the heroine is initially fearful of his dark reputation, but he hires her as a girlfriend and slowly draws her into his world. Eventually stealing her heart. When he threw that paper plane, and when he later on again threw the paper plane at her..such a symbolism of the circle of love they been through in their long journey. Both could stand head to head and challenge each other with their pain and anger, but also embrace each other with all their migh. ML was on the verge of being a Anti-hero, he was so broken, and only she could bring those pieces together. This couple touched me greatly.

Sexy & Dark:what i love!!

I enjoyed it immensely!!This is my second version of the same plot! Prefer this ML much more!!

The plot is that the FL badly needs medication to heal her sister`s illness, in this case ML is the only one who has the medicine. So they have a transactional relationship, where he gives her medicine for sex, but he falls irrevocably for her. Unlike in the other version, he realized early on that he loves her and he pursued her. He is a lot ruthless towards his enemies as well, especially the girl he took care of who he cast aside as soon as he knew she was a scheming liar.

All the tropes i find utterly irresistible...a dark revenge romance!!!

I am having a bit of a binge of short c-dramas lately and have found a new obsession with watching the incredibly talented actor Chen Si on-screen!! This is the third drama i have finished with him and omggggg does he shine! He portrays another Anti-hero Jiang Ji Chun who rescues the heroine Xin Yan and in turn she works as a spy for him while he in return also helps her with the investigation of finding the real culprit behind her family`s murder. The plot itself does revolve around three Jiang heirs, the ML and his two nephews who hates his guts. Ji Chun was always there to save the heroine, seduce her and torment her with hot sizzling kissess. His red-hot passion for her was blinding my eyes. The way Chen Si portrayed Ji Chun reminds me of his another portrayal in another dark romance "Lost in the Midnight". He has this dark sexual appeal, this kinda predatory and restless stance to him. I find him utterly irresistible as well, the way he makes my heart beat faster!! Lucky heroine!!

A Classic Runaway Cinderella love-story...!

What made "Surviving Beauty" such a exciting lakhorn to watch was the essential story. I mean, what more do you want when you have a runaway cinderella bride on her road to seek refuge in her bestfriend`s brother Chalaybut`s farm but instead meet his deadly and bitter mortal enemy and rival Khetkham. Choenkwan find new friends, home and sweeping romantic adventure in the dark mysterious woodlands where we have a mysterious and evil Black Panther King trying to destroy everything and then she also has more problems added to a evil step mother who wants to force her to marry a man so she can steal her inheritance-and she is stuck with the ruthless and hot-tempered landowner Khetkham who she finds herself in a fake marriage with. We have the funny as hell hilarious sidekicks Tawan & Suang who mistook her for a prostitu** and took her to Khetkham at the start of this story, just simply hilarious!!!

The story in itself being so entertaining we also have the beautifully developed romance between Kwan & Khet. Khet freaking rejected two women who love him, alas, he had given his whole heart to Kwan. It felt so bittersweet when we get to know that they actually had a blind date seven years ago in which Khet backed off in his way of rebelling against his fathers control. But fate made them meet in a wonderful way again...just so wonderful in how fated they actually are! My only criticue must be how lazy the writing became after Kwan went to the capital, just the material and mood went down a lot and i badly missed their scenes in the Woodlands of Khet. At least i am happy that the story concluded there at least, Kwan & Khet never got a break with how many challenges they had to face, so i got a few happy tears when they finally got their happy ever after on their love-spot with the help of all their friends and sidekicks! "Surviving Beauty" has the classic romance vibe i so much missed in the later lakhorns i have watched!

Ling Xiao was such a good Anti-hero, his mezmerizing eyes and charisma......uff!

I can absolutely say i loved Part For Ever and have re-watched some heartstopping scenes over and over again. Its just such a well done enemies to lovers trope!!

I just love the Male Lead so much, the tragic essence of him and how he knew deep down how doomed his fate was in this life. It was as if he always knew. I love how he hated to love his enemy, new bride to be. How confusing he felt, ahhhh my heart went out to him so many times. This is a terrific love-story for a short drama. I just enjoyed the journey of angst, action and romance.

"I won`t give you up. You are mine. Only mine." - Naparoot

***
"Fai Luang" is a old-school slap-kiss soap opera with lots of intensity in its melodramatic essence. It has all that i love in lakhorns of this genre. Romance, passion, hatred, revenge and two main-leads that refuse to back off from their purpose. It stars the handsome Willie Ruengrit as the avenging and domineering hero Naparoot who in every sense of the word wants to ruin the life of his deceased father`s mistress and in turn hurt her younger sister, the one woman who ever infuriates him and makes him go mad with anger and passion, the very gentle but stubborn Yotien starred by Tao Sarocha. She is furious over her sisters actions and betrayal but with fierce patience and good will she tries to gain the forgiveness of Naparoot`s family, which only infuriates him even more. Their love for each other became the burning fire that at first was built by intense hatred, both Naparoot & Yotien get hurt by it and both refuse to even acknowledge it or even give in to it.

I totally lost sleep over this incredible story. All the characters felt so real to me and their emotions were well acted out by the whole cast. Willie just took my breath away with his gripping performance by truly showing how Naparoot was at the peak of losing his mind. He was the soul of this story, no one was above him and could really stand up against him, well except for his very beloved heroine who refused to surrender.
