Kob Suvanant can play any role she gets, and she nailed it perfectly with Rasa`s character. Rasa is a passionate individual with great self-respect and dignity and has such a great stubborness everyone around her had to admire. She fought for her father to accept her as his daughter..and for him to repent for his crime towards her mother. She is a stunning lady and i admired her for it! We also get to see Chompoo Araya A. Hargate play the role of Sasikarn, the biological sister of Rasa who also is Chanon`s fiance-to-be. My gosh how young she was in this lakhorn and what a great talent she had in such a early stage of acting. Wichaya Jarujinda stars in his first role as the carefree and goofy Apirak,Chanon`s younger brother who at all means chases after Rasa from the start and blindly falls for her on first sight. For many viewers Apirak is thought of selfish and weak and dramatic...he was all that from the start but he undergoes such a great character developement who learns patience and understanding and tries to put himself in Chanon`s shoes for once. One of my favourite aspects in this lakhorns was the brotherhood between Chanon and Apirak. Both are so different, but their love and adoration for each other are fierce. Chanon is the man in the household, he is the boss, he has the brains and the strength to carry out their company while Apirak always stays in his shadow.
Andrew Gregson stole my heart ever since i first watched him in "Tang Parn Kammathep" where he blew my mind away from his incredible performance. In "Luk Mai Klai Ton" he plays the tortured leading hero Chanon who refuses to step down from his principles. Everyone around him keeps telling him he is heartless and cold...but deep down he is always the one hurting the most. He is a man who will keep the tears in to stay strong for his family. He always has been the solid rock and caretaker of the family ever since his mother left them for another man. The way Andrew Gregson performed was MAGNIFICENT and his way of acting really reminds me of the way the movie icon James Dean acted in his movies.Andrew Gregson has the dynamic on-screen presence that demands attention and i couldn`t keep my eyes away from him!He was clearly the head star in this lakhorn for me. I love how he hated his attraction for Rasa and i also love how he finally explodes and succumbs to it.That scene was so powerful that i simply swooned!Andrew and Kob definitely has one of the most powerful on-screen chemistry i have ever seen and its such a shame they never starred in more lakhorns together!
I recommend this lakhorn to everyone. It delivers a powerful message of you reap what you sow and that every deed has its consequences that can come back and bit you in the future. It also clearly show the picture of reality in the way it presents the older days in Thailand`s society-between the higher class and the under class. One thing i have to mention is that this lakhornhas not finished english subtitles, the first 17 episodes are subbed, so there are 3 episodes left for them to finish subbing.I have watched so many lakhorns that i understand much of thai language these days so i had no problem understanding. This lakhorn also has a strong dialuge and every character was needed for this story,no scene for me was unnecessary and everyone delivered A-class performances.I can say without hesitation that this has become one of the best lakhorns i have ever seen and trust me,i have seen many!

I am obsessed with Zheng Hui!
I mean, i totally salivated over him in "The Prince is too Wild" which i rated top stars. "Stealing Beauty" is about a tormented jewelry designer who lives under hiding and control of her boyfriend of eight years. She makesjewelry designs for his company and mistress, serving as a slave for him under the impression that he saved her father and will marry her one day. She wasted eight years on a scum like him. She was in such a terrible environment and relationship that the ML had to take drastic measures to take her out of that predicament on his return. He used coersion and seduction, but the best of all he helped her realize what a beauty and rare talent she has and helped her with her self-esteem. But, he also needed her to make some decisions for herself as well, so when she failed to do that he was rightly hurt and disappointed. I love however, the way he showed her what a faithless and immoral piece of junk her supposed boyfriend is, and kept on seducing her in the dark. So satisfying! Was this review helpful to you?
Revenge has never tasted sweeter...
"Love Trap Limerence" follows the story of past lovers separated by a bitter betrayal. The heroine Jiang Yao is a secret agent to a organisation that wanted the demise of the powerful warlord Chi Yan Zhou`s father and it resulted in his death. Chi Yan Zhou comes back more powerful than ever, in his thirst for revenge towards the one and only woman who has ever owned his heart. The plot, dialuge , OST , the chemistry and the visuals. I loved it. Zi Xian is so handsome and talented, a fine charismatic hero for the screen and the way his character could not keep his hands off his heroine was a DELIGHT to watch. My first time seeing the actress portraying the heroine and she did a fine job as well. Loved her figure by the way, she had fine curves! The agony and longing was so clearly felt through the screen between these two. It was quite heartbreaking actually, when he asked her with tears running down his eyes if she ever truly did love him all those years ago.

Growing Up reminds me of those coming of age summer beach tv-series that usually airs here on Sweden`s child channels on the summers. It is about Sun Spikers, a volley ball club hat involves six high-school students that makes us follow up in their lives where they dream, fall in love, get heartbroken, learn how to forgive and trying to accept the mistakes people make around you. The friendship and deep bond Sun Spikers had was incredible. How they helped and supported each other through everything during the series just made my heart touched. The highlight of this tv-series is WITHOUT A DOUBT the characters, the head-strong Ella and the rich arrogant Patrick (portrayed by Kathryn & Daniel)...both always argue with each other despite secretly loving each other, absolutely adorable! So many cute unforgettable moments between them to re-watch!

I have to say, this is not a love-story and barely has any romance. In fact both main-leads spend much more time with other people on-screen which could be frustrating at times because things got so much more interesting in their every interaction. There was so much hatred and disgust oozing out of Mai already from the start towards Charan that there is this huge wall between them that never got broken until the end.Andrew brought out a charm in the character of Charan who is a person that despite suffering from loneliness and despair always tried to find positive things in life.Benz is such a terrific actress and conveyed the emotions of such a complex heroine as Mai so well.Living rich but being a orphan and having a grandmother only obsessed with younger men was a strain for Mai who found it easier to get hot-tempered and illogical instead. She has the best character developement where life keeps throwing obstacles in her path for her to find her true self.
Watching this lakhorn i could feel how sad it went along the second half because in this story both Charan and Mai are victims of such terrible deceit that it almost destroyed them.In many ways this must be one of the most angsty lakhorns i have ever watched since it explore so many topics like abortion, prostitution, exploitation, trauma, abandonement and the whole cast managed to act out all those emotions of sadness, heartbreak and torment so well.A lakhorn of the slice of life genre,it brought many tears out of me.

I absolutely LOVEEEE the story of "Sawan Biang" (wish i also could read the novel)and its main-characters.I remember the 2008 version starting my addiction of lakhorns years ago and i haven`t been cured since. This older version have a different kind of directing. It has this gloomy and gothic element to it with a much depressing but also hauntingly beautiful OST.It doesn`t shy away from showing how flawed all the characters are and how much of a broken victim Narin becomes-in a almost stronger way than in the 2008 version.Brook`s performance as Kawee started off really strong in the earlier episodes,he have this swaggy but cold introduction when he enters his step-mothers funeral. He is a hateful creature, but seems to be empty of loneliness at times.Ken`s characterization of Kawee had a added charm of sexual innuendo, whereas Brook`s version of Kawee simply ozzes with barbaric shallowness with no empathy at all.More so with the way he brutally rapes Narin-how that scene made me uncomfortable and how awful it was to see how it almost broke Narin`s soul.It made it even more horrible because Kawee had never kidnapped her in this version but had calculatedly planned to rape her-and in doing that he drugged all the servants so that no one would help her.THAT IS A MONSTER!Narin was the one person who always stood toe to toe against Kawee and considered him dirt beneath her feet-because she knew what a cold-hearted monster he was from her first sight of him.I hate what she had to go through..and i hate it even more that she got together with him in the end.I also don`t like how friendly Kawee got with Leela near the end since Kawee in the 2008 version would rather cut his hand off than ever sincerely smile at Leela-HE DESPISED HER THAT MUCH even when they had a truce!Well this seems to be the case of if Narin is happy-then we all are happy!

"Lhong Ngao Jun" (which mean " Enchanted Moon") is a old-school thai lakhorn i have had my eyes on for a very long time before i decided to sit down to watch it.It stars the wonderful veteran actress Kob Suvanant as the demure and goodhearted "Pim" Pimchanok who becomes the victim of "Ae" Thanakim`s revenge played by Stephan Tasit. Her natural beauty and deep core patience and calmness enchants Ae`s souldeep anger and turns it into love.He mistakes her for being the woman who broke his friends heart and caused him to die on a car accident while driving drunk-never even suspecting that she has a evil younger sister Khem who is the real culprit and whose life reason is to cause every trouble for Pim.

"I have no right to love anyone, but i do have the right not to love you"
-"Pim" Pimchanok to Ae
***
So many aspects of this plot reminded me of "Ngao Asoke" especially with how sacrificial Pim was when it came to her happiness-she was willing to beg Ae to marry her sister so her relationship with her family would be peaceful, full well knowing that Ae loves her and not Khem. One more thing i found familiar was how Ae was after her THE WHOLE TIME!First he followed her around to terrorize her and destroy her life to pieces but that need of violence and revenge slowly dies down when Pim hits him with a rock after he forcefully kissess her. With a bloody face he drives away from there and get stuck in a car accident and wakes up with half his body paralyzed.Because of her guilt Pim takes care of him those 6 months and helps him recover. I thought it wonderful how devoted and smitten Ae is towards her and gets jealous of every other man around her-even his own bestfriend P`Kim,LOL.
I wish this lakhorn could have been directed and edited better. Some scenes are cut down in middle of conversations which frustrated me at times. There are some scenes that are done very well.Love how the hospital Pim works in are organized in a very realistic way.I also came to fall for Ae`s bestfriend P´Kim (have seen the actor in many other lakhorns)..and how he mocked lakhorns although they were living in one themselves. There is also the beginning scene i find very endearing when Ae,P´Kim and their now dead friend Thip drove bicycles when they were little boys and met the very young Pim who fetches her nursing bag to help the hurt little Thip-all the three boys thought she was an angel,LOL.That scene was so adorable, and i found it more adorable that Ae as a child still looked into her garden every day after that just to look for her..but she had already moved away at that point. It makes it even more ironic that their fates get sealed into a pact of revenge a decade later.

This night however results into a unexpected pregnancy and Kaokla willingly wants to help Saikim with whatever decision she wants. They elope, fall in love and get married and later on gets cruelly separated from each other. Both gets so broken inside that a piece of them dies, especially Kaokla who almost loses everything..even his life. No wonder his anguish and heartbreak turned into hatred...no wonder he wanted to ruin everyone who wanted to ruin him. His heart turns stone-cold...wanting to punish his beloved wife and family for destroying his family.
What a journey this has been.I never wanted this to end. So many smiles, tears and laughted i shared with these characters that were to die for, especially Klaokla & Saikim. Their unstoppable love...always growing. I felt so bad for them, my heart hurt so much when they tried to hurt each other. This was such a epic slap-kiss story, i just could not stop watching. Yaya & Mario did incredible job in this story, i am so amazed and in love with their passionate on-screen chemistry. Bad Romeo has become on of my favourite lakhorns to re-watch!

"Seal of Fire"...known for its smothering hot french kissess!!!
This drama was a unforgettable experience!!! WOW!! In the past life the FL hated the very smitten ML, she thought him hateful and arrogant, they spent a night together and she hated him afterwards-this night resulted in her getting pregnant. Over the course of that story she ends up getting burned scars on her face and body which results in self hatred. ML locks her up in his home and makes love to her every night, proving through his passion and devotion that he still finds her desirable as ever...alas she never trusted him. To blinded by self hatred. That life sadly ended tragically with her dying and him dying for her. Only then does she realize how this beautiful Male hero lived and breathed his love for her...she vows to love him as devotedly and passionately if given second chance...which it does and she did indeed get reborn in his embrace! In their second life time she redeems herself...drawing light onto the Male hero`s world, unloading all her love and passion and embracing his heart and soul in return. I found it so natural of him being so sceptic of her "sudden change" towards him, but he could not for the LOVE OF GOD resist her, despite his fears and insecurities. And his total heartbreak when she told him about their tragic past life, ah i cried buckets!!! Lanbo is so beautiful as a Male hero on-screen, i mean the charisma and sensuality this man execudes, his voice and his soulful gaze! The way he kissess his female heroines, ahhh man does he take my breath away everytime!!

This has to be one of the most slow-burn romantic lakhorns i have ever seen since they only fall in love after they get married after like 10 episodes.Mark fell in love with her much earlier while Bee had to truly see the goodness of Mark to get feelings for him.Margie did a great job as the stubborn tomboy Bee,she totally lighted up the screen with her expressions and crazy tantics!Boy gave a certain vulnerability to Mark`s character. He has the greatest character developement in this story where he realizes how he only makes his life harder by not being true to himself. He becomes more honorable, patient and nice throughout the story and falling for Bee was actually the best thing that could ever happen to him and i am so happy Bee and Mark found each other.Their scenes made me sigh, laugh and cry.I had so much fun with them!!Bella Ranee plays one of the evil Nang Rai`s in this one and wow how i got blown away by her performance. She was really good at making me hate her!

"If only there was a Spell in this World that could make the Rain Last Forever"
Ming Yi´s words to Ji Bo Zai are constantly ringing in my ears even after finished this masterpiece that has become Love in The Clouds. I am not much of a Full length c-drama watcher. But Shorts on youtube and the amazing reviews here on MDL made me want to give Love in The Clouds a shot. Honestly, i felt in my heart i would come to enjoy this drama, even love it. Love it i did.Everything about this story is top-notch. The romance is crafted in a epic way. Same with the directing, the settings, costumes...the plot. It felt like i stepped into a Enthralling Dream that i never wanted to wake up from. They had me on Edge the whole journey. They made me laugh and cry.I was deeply invested and binge watched this in four days. Damn, i am having a fever now.
I don`t know how to really move on now, these kind of fevers are the worst because of how bittersweet it is. My heart is heavy with happiness and sadness that the journey of Ming Yi & Ji Bo Zai has come to an end. Their love-story is so entertaining in its deceptive and light-hearted view with two mainleads that really initially distrust each other. But there is this magic between them, call it on-screen chemistry between Hou Ming & Lu Yu, i mean these two are incredible in their performances and it is indeed my first time watching them on-screen.I fell completely in love. The rawness, complexity, beauty and grace these two had and their view of life and the world. The way they viewed each other. So much admiration, respect and awe. Fated soulmates, without both of them knowing.
I will miss the scenes where Ji Bo Zai tease her, where she charms him, when they eat pancakes, when they are with their Beast Pets, training at the Shousha Academy, when they are connecting, when they are bonding, when they embrace each other, when they fight side by side...when they so lovingly and ardently protect each other. Love in The Clouds is a enchantment itself, a dream i indeed did not want to wake up from. Dear to my heart now.

I don`t think i have cried this much in a while. God but the trainwreck in this story almost undid me. The consuming angst and the hot chemistry between James and Taew almost baffled me, and i loved it! I don`t think i have ever seen James more sexier than his character as Nai. I have watched many lakhorns starring James, but he has never acted so well as he did in this lakhorn as the tortured hero Nai. The expressions and the feelings that shimmered from him were all to good to be true, and Taew with her explosive performance as the spitfire character of Nok was so incredible that i actually for the first time truly fell in love with this actress too. Their romance are so swoony and the angst so heartbreaking that i have lost count of how many times i closed my lips for fear to the characters (especially Nok,she really knew how to push Nai`s buttons and make him kiss her passionately, ahh but i love slap-kiss). This is a MUST-WATCH for all lovers of Romantic Lakhorns. "Game Sanaeha" has the best charming cast that plays wonderful characters, hate-ful villians, drama with its exciting intrigues and a boiling burning romance where our hero with a extreme loyalty and patience loves our wild heroine throughout the journey, which really fascinated me. James Ji and Teaw gives us extraordinary performances in this intense drama...i could not sleep for two days while watching the whole journey...the Love-Story of Nok and Nai one i will never forget.!

Guilty Pleasure for sure!!
"Passionate Love" is not that very much of a fitting title. But the mainleads very natural chemistry is instant and clear and i was surprised to find that these are the same actors that co-starred in the very tragic "Love & Bid Farewell". I remember how awed i was by their chemistry despite him being the second male lead in that one. There is something very earnest in Ming Chen`s acting, he is not only beautiful looking but he is raw talent on-screen and the way he gazes at his heroine, the very stubborn and tough Wen Yu portrayed by the very talented actress Xuan Lin. They are a magnetic force together and i definitely want to see more of their projects together. Until now they have co-starred in four dramas together, they seem to be close in real life as well, hmm.If you find hard-core angsty, action packed and intense romance set in the Republic of China, add in revenge and hatred mixed with loving. This one is perfect for you. Its a classic in the genre.

Smoldering Kissess by the Hot General!
I had seen another drama with the mainleads i really loved, so this one felt like a given once i realized the same leads were starring in it. The actor portraying Male Lead is not the typical goodlooking chinese actor, but he has that swagger and really good face expressions and is very good at creating chemistry with his co-star. He portrays sensuality and longing very well. In this drama he is so shameless and flirts so well with his heroine, stealing extra smoldering kissess throughout this story. Ah, so hot!Was this review helpful to you?
