I normally don`t watch thai lakhorns or tv-series with paranormal fantasy that has ghosts or haunted spirits or magic, but i gave this one a chance mostly because i wanted to watch Son on-screen-i really love this actor like i love Push and Pae and i wish that these three actors someday will starr in lakhorn together as Maffia-Brothers,that would be so Cool! All three of them are tall,dark-haired and incredibly handsome!
I love this story, the plot and the whole structure of the drama and the romantic elements that takes place. Most people will hate Son`s character Chatt as he really behaves like a arrogant and proud bastard towards his heroine Roong, but i love their romance anyway, and i love the fact that the creators saved the Best Romance for the Last.Which means that the last episode are wonderful, you will love it.!There are many characters and follows four families-which means that there also are a whole lot of family-drama.But you will love it anyway-as the pure love-story of Chatt and Roong really amazes you...!

This has to be one of the most slow-burn romantic lakhorns i have ever seen since they only fall in love after they get married after like 10 episodes.Mark fell in love with her much earlier while Bee had to truly see the goodness of Mark to get feelings for him.Margie did a great job as the stubborn tomboy Bee,she totally lighted up the screen with her expressions and crazy tantics!Boy gave a certain vulnerability to Mark`s character. He has the greatest character developement in this story where he realizes how he only makes his life harder by not being true to himself. He becomes more honorable, patient and nice throughout the story and falling for Bee was actually the best thing that could ever happen to him and i am so happy Bee and Mark found each other.Their scenes made me sigh, laugh and cry.I had so much fun with them!!Bella Ranee plays one of the evil Nang Rai`s in this one and wow how i got blown away by her performance. She was really good at making me hate her!

I don`t think i have cried this much in a while. God but the trainwreck in this story almost undid me. The consuming angst and the hot chemistry between James and Taew almost baffled me, and i loved it! I don`t think i have ever seen James more sexier than his character as Nai. I have watched many lakhorns starring James, but he has never acted so well as he did in this lakhorn as the tortured hero Nai. The expressions and the feelings that shimmered from him were all to good to be true, and Taew with her explosive performance as the spitfire character of Nok was so incredible that i actually for the first time truly fell in love with this actress too. Their romance are so swoony and the angst so heartbreaking that i have lost count of how many times i closed my lips for fear to the characters (especially Nok,she really knew how to push Nai`s buttons and make him kiss her passionately, ahh but i love slap-kiss). This is a MUST-WATCH for all lovers of Romantic Lakhorns. "Game Sanaeha" has the best charming cast that plays wonderful characters, hate-ful villians, drama with its exciting intrigues and a boiling burning romance where our hero with a extreme loyalty and patience loves our wild heroine throughout the journey, which really fascinated me. James Ji and Teaw gives us extraordinary performances in this intense drama...i could not sleep for two days while watching the whole journey...the Love-Story of Nok and Nai one i will never forget.!

I found the little boy Macmac very cute and my heart broke so much for him! It was so sad seeing him having to see those dead spirits.Cedric is a very mean guy from the start who under Leni`s influence starts to soften.I thought their blooming romance in these horrifying circumstances was very well done.I mean, the chemistry is always off the charts between them, love them so much!

I have had my share of movies starring the famous couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. This movie was not bad at all,but very much lovely and fun actually. We follow the rebellious main character Jackie who against her will gets taken to a village to volunteer on a medical mission in Tarlac. To her dismay, a place without any electricity and internet connection. But her cynical point of view slowly changes when she gets to know the bright and golden-hearted Kiko who also lives a unfortunate life but chooses to love instead of giving in to anger all the time. From teasing and bickering with each other, they fall completely in love. I love how Kathryn portrayed the troubled Jackie.Such a strong character, but very much vulnerable. It is so easy to be so much consumed by pain that you eventually do crazy stuff just to numb it out.You end up being so selfish and self-absorbed that you forget all the life and people around you.Kiko was right to point that out to her,and showed her an example of the poor life families have around the village. Kathryn could see the life Kiko lived. His own mother can`t even make herself to take care of him and his younger siblings, leaving all the responsibility on his shoulders while she parties away and gambles with her boyfriends. He has a rich father with his own family who never treats him more like a employer than a son.Kiko never asks from anything in return, but he does not want to cut ties with them because he considers them his family and he loves them no matter what even if they don`t appreciate him.My heart cried out for Kiko, his golden heart just made me swoon!I love the early scene where Jackie seduces him just to steal the keys from him and he tells her he is a virgin, lol!

I absolutely LOVEEEE the story of "Sawan Biang" (wish i also could read the novel)and its main-characters.I remember the 2008 version starting my addiction of lakhorns years ago and i haven`t been cured since. This older version have a different kind of directing. It has this gloomy and gothic element to it with a much depressing but also hauntingly beautiful OST.It doesn`t shy away from showing how flawed all the characters are and how much of a broken victim Narin becomes-in a almost stronger way than in the 2008 version.Brook`s performance as Kawee started off really strong in the earlier episodes,he have this swaggy but cold introduction when he enters his step-mothers funeral. He is a hateful creature, but seems to be empty of loneliness at times.Ken`s characterization of Kawee had a added charm of sexual innuendo, whereas Brook`s version of Kawee simply ozzes with barbaric shallowness with no empathy at all.More so with the way he brutally rapes Narin-how that scene made me uncomfortable and how awful it was to see how it almost broke Narin`s soul.It made it even more horrible because Kawee had never kidnapped her in this version but had calculatedly planned to rape her-and in doing that he drugged all the servants so that no one would help her.THAT IS A MONSTER!Narin was the one person who always stood toe to toe against Kawee and considered him dirt beneath her feet-because she knew what a cold-hearted monster he was from her first sight of him.I hate what she had to go through..and i hate it even more that she got together with him in the end.I also don`t like how friendly Kawee got with Leela near the end since Kawee in the 2008 version would rather cut his hand off than ever sincerely smile at Leela-HE DESPISED HER THAT MUCH even when they had a truce!Well this seems to be the case of if Narin is happy-then we all are happy!

Our Nangek (heroine) Nid have to go through many obstacles to win back the love of her life, our Praek (hero) San who have got amnesia, and who also doesn`t remember her and their time together on See Chang Island .Much angst are delivered in this story, with the antagonists doing everything to cause Nid harm, and keeping her away from her beloved San.
Overall,"Sao Noi" is far from being the perfect drama. But it has a lot to deliver..i have never by the way watched a thai lakhorn with this many episodes before, and i do not regret it.This drama also has 40% of the same cast as in another Vill-starrer "Sud Sai Pan".Son and Vill did well in portraying the undying and selfless love between Nid and San.I will look out for more dramas with Vill and Son together!Boonma and Kaew are one of the funniest secondary couples ever-their first meeting was totally romantic and charming.
Characters:
Vill Wannarot as Nid/Wanida: Vill is one of the few actresses i know of that delivers angst very well. She has a unique beauty and a face that don`t have to express her emotions-her eyes says it all.Her performance as the humble and innocent islander Nid was done very well...and her transformation into the sensual theater actress Wanida was done perfectly. She stole all hearts of the men,and more importantly her praeks.Nid is a heroine that can`t live without love once she has found it,once found it gets cruelly taken away from her,and we all follow her long journey in the dangerous and hypocritical High Society of Bangkok to find it again.
Son Yuke as San/Siam: Son reunites with his koo-jin Vill after 4 years in this drama as the rich heir who are engaged to Suwalee from the start. His character is a very passionate painter, who struggles to find his inspirational muse, but are very cynical and looks at the outside of every people. All that changes when he gets hit by a man and looses consciousness...and all his memories. He wakes up in the woods,as a new-born innocent soul. With the help from fate he finds See Chang Island and gets rescued by Nid who turns out to be his muse of inspiration, and soulmate.
Guy Ratchanok as Boonma:Guy shows his goofy charm in the character of Boonma,San`s loyal bestfriend who searches for San after his accident. A newspaper-reporter and striving to be a writer-he has a romantic heart, and a great loyalty to the people he loves. His character brought much humor to this drama, and made me fall in love with him.He finds his love-match in Nid`s bestfriend, the bold tom-boy Kaew.
Egg Butsakon as Suwalee: This girl dug her own grave, and jeez what a evil Nang Rai. She indeed loves no one but herself, and causes much harm to the main-leads due to her selfishness. The deed with the aunt was truly despicable-and both of them did get their karma!Egg did great job as Suwalee, she made me hate her immensely.I also kinda wish that Thana (played by Nut) ended up with her,he was one handsome devil that pursued Suwalee, but also ends up being the one getting revenge on her. They had lots of chemistry, but i guess the creators didn`t want Suwalee to find happiness.
Khongmalai as Marasee: What a stunning actress! She steals the heart of Khun Phra,San`s father.A famous bar-singer who are looked down by many people for her class and behaviour, becomes a true friend supporter and friend of Nid (to my surprise). This character had a lot of charisma and a very strong will that refused to surrender to anyone.I came to really admire her. I wish to see this actress in more lakhorns!

The first half is indeed the most interesting part of this Lakhorn. It has its moments of hilarious banter and humor. Where every character has its part of purpose. The villian Narong is a worthy one, even if he does deserve the ending he got i still think he was a redeemable character as he loves his adoptive sister Bproong with a intensity, and damn what a chemistry they have! Bproong was so self-destructive and mad that it made my head hurt to the bits. The risks she takes on winning Khonghai will frustrate you, but the actress do portray her so well that you do eventually wish for her to have happiness, and she could have that with Narong. But after the second half i struggled to finish this lakhorn, as the storyline took on a more crazy note and just took on bunch of drama to make it longer. Its a thai-lakhorn and they usually are overly dramatic, but this one just made my head hurt. Its my first time watching Rome and Chompoo in a lakhorn, and i do look forward to watch more of them, as i love Chompoo in the TV-SHOW 3-Zaap...her personality are so color-ful and naughty at the same time!
Her portrayal as Pai is done very well, as she did great with showing the struggle and pain in not being sure of the love of her husband. She was indeed sophisticated and smart throughout the story, and never backed away from a challenge. Always having the last word, liked that about her as a Nangek. Khongai is a man you struggle with, as he has the most character developement in this story. From a irresponsible and bratty person, he come to learn about the importance of family, life and love. Through his love for his wife Pai his view of the world changes and he learn to have compassion and patience and cherish his loved ones. He becomes a man who gets ready to take a bullet for his wife and child, thats a true hero indeed!

A war forms between Yada and Shakrit, a dangerous game where one will have to win, and Yada are magnificent in standing on her ground against the mighty Shakrit, and never hesitated to challenge him. But against his will Shakrit does desire her, and gets fascinated by her spirit...and also her vulnerability that touched him in a way no ones feelings ever touched him before. Using blackmail he soon also forces her to marry him, and while declaring that its for revenge against her father,we see that its because he have strong feelings for her and its such a beautiful view to see him treat her like his woman. He cherishes her and protects her,and even trusts her when he never trusted anyone for 20 years. His bestfriend Tassana has his growing romance with Yadas younger sister Khem, and there is a third romance between Shakrit`s adopted sister Chayanee and Yadas hot-tempered younger brother Traitot, and damn how i also enjoyed their love-hate relationship!!All the forced kisses between Shakrit and Yada was yummi as hell as the chemistry was BURNING OFF the screen all the time, and watching a shirtless Ken? Mindblowing and made me wave a hand over my face just because i couldn`t stop getting hot all over Ken`s irresistible sexiness!!!!Damn how that man aged well over the years, damn damn!!!!All is fair in love and war, so see how Shakrit gets his revenge..and eventually redemption and watch him give up everything in the name of love

and she is THE special woman who will change him...through the power of love.
If you guys haven`t watched "Sawan Biang", then i have no idea whatever you have been doing all your life. I just finished re-watching it today, and i am just crying of joy all over again! It`s a train-wreck and it never gets boring. Having raw slap-kiss in it the story presents revenge, family, jealousy, forgiveness,redemption..and least of all the power of love.
This is a classic and have been adapted many times, but the version from 2008 starring the legendary nr:1 koo-jin at that time (in this generation NY is the nr:1 koo-jin) Ken Theeradeth and Anne Thongprasom is the most famous and highest rated and had won many awards at that time. Until now no one ever forgets the dynamic performance of Ken, as the selfish and arrogant billionare heir Kawee. Kawee is a hate-ful character who rages a war against the world and his father, who always re-marries women, which Kawee hates.Kawee is so full of himself that he thinks that every woman in the world should consider herself lucky even breathing the same air as him (trust me,he is THAT pompous). In to his world comes the first woman who has ever defied him, the gentle but very stubborn florist Narin (played by Anne). Kawee despises her directly for being "arrogant" enough with her stabbing insults and that she is the younger sister of Leela, the girl who practically stalked him in school years ago. And Narin is disgusted by the brutally and humilating way he rejected Leela in public which caused her also to almost die in a car-accident.It doesn`t get better when Kawee gets furious with a murder-like sense when he gets to know that Leela is going to marry his now widowed father, and on that point the bitter and raging war starts between Kawee and Leela, with Narin being the thread between them.
But we watchers see the spark between Kawee and Narin from the start, its quick but its there, and from then on we will watch the self-important Kawee fall in love (against his will) with the beautiful Narin, seeing the goodness in her heart while he hurls all his terrible hatred of revenge for Leela on Narin is painful, as Anne plays the victim very well in Narin through the heart-breaking tears. There is no male-hero more mean than Kawee in the history of lakhorns. He is can`t be called an Anti-hero, but he is a true Villian himself. He is not only cold-hearted, but he is heart-less and venoumus, nor is he only ruthless, but he is also barbaric. Ken is magnificent in his role as Kawee, the wicked expressions and stance of his and the dynamic way he presents himself...and in the thunderous way he destroys everything around him. He is a character i have called bastard (and ass-hole) so many times i have forgotten it, but he is irresistible with his animalistic male sexuality...and sympathetic with his tortured soul who lacked the love from a father he so desperately needed after his mother died.Trust me, you can`t take your eyes off him, he is THAT charismatic! Anne who always plays the cheerful spoiled heroine in many of her other lakhorns, is a woman whose soul gets battered by Kawee in this lakhorn as Narin. From the start she had a witty and confident character that refused to surrender to Kawee`s cruelty..or passion and love, and neither does she either (which i so admire her for) until the end.!
"Sawan Biang" is a soap-opera that gets you addicted to it.It is never an easy journey with the hate-love romance between Kawee and Narin, but its unforgettable and epic and brings very powerful performances from the whole main-cast.For me it has everything i love in a romance, passionate alpha-hero,mindblowing chemistry, love that starts with revenge, and an incredible love that is so painful, that i as a viewer cried my tears off. It´s heart-breaking and beautiful, and i recommend it to every Lakhorn Lover. The original title means actually "Heaven Diversion", and the cause of it is explained in this text:
"Love happening during revenge
is like heaven diverts his and her paths
to merge with each other."
-Krisna Asokesin (the author of the novel)
