"Kaen Sanaeha" starring Son Songpaisarn and Patricia Tanchanok as the Leading Man and Lady had an amazing chemistry together.Watching the first three episodes we get presented to a classic type of love-triangle.1:st wife,Lord Husband and his mistress, where both woman loves him but he only loves his mistress Bulah. The 1:st wifes loyal servant Fueng takes the pregnant mistress as a captive while the husband are overseas and cruelly steals her born son,but not knowing that she still are pregnant with a daughter.Fueng commands a slave to kill the mistress and throw her body on the river, but hearing the cry of the now born daughter, the slave Yord feel pity and saves both the mistress and her now born http://daughter.In another palace a daughter are born, while the three year old Chatt (Son`s character) happily goes around knowing he has become a older brother.Out of the river into their territory a man, unconscious woman and a child has arrived. The father and grandmother of Chatt decides to help these people and Yord also pretends to be mute not to answer any questions. But that day the mother of Chatt dies, and he with an sorrowful anger blames her death on the woman and her daughter for arriving. We watch Chatt, his sister Rima and the mistress daughter Roong (Patricias character) grow up into beautiful children, while the real twin-brother of Roong and mistress son grow up with the 1`st wife, thinking she are his mother and a father who lies paralyzed in bed because of the sorrow of losing his beloved Bulahn who he always thought of his true wife.Chatt bullies and abuses Roong mentally and does everything to make her life a living hell, but cares about her secretly...and soon growing up we watch him being entraced by Roong`s gentle beauty and goodness, and fall in love with her along with the process, and all the while Chatt`s sister Rima fall in love with the one young man she has treated as her enemy,Roongs twin-brother Chai Diew. Many misunderstandings will come between these two couple, especially Chatt and Roong, and with a haunting spirit after revenge these four will have to defeat the evilness that was created in the long gone past of their parents.

I normally don`t watch thai lakhorns or tv-series with paranormal fantasy that has ghosts or haunted spirits or magic, but i gave this one a chance mostly because i wanted to watch Son on-screen-i really love this actor like i love Push and Pae and i wish that these three actors someday will starr in lakhorn together as Maffia-Brothers,that would be so Cool! All three of them are tall,dark-haired and incredibly handsome!
I love this story, the plot and the whole structure of the drama and the romantic elements that takes place. Most people will hate Son`s character Chatt as he really behaves like a arrogant and proud bastard towards his heroine Roong, but i love their romance anyway, and i love the fact that the creators saved the Best Romance for the Last.Which means that the last episode are wonderful, you will love it.!There are many characters and follows four families-which means that there also are a whole lot of family-drama.But you will love it anyway-as the pure love-story of Chatt and Roong really amazes you...!

This roller-coaster was View`s and Son`s debut lakhorn from 2008-and they both became one of the most popular koo-jins of channel 5 after this."Kaew Lorm Petch" introduces many interesting characters, and we see the whole difference in the switched babies trope in this drama. I just love the story-line and the whole plot was put on so well that i lived in it. Everyone acted great except Son, who somehow was so robotic in his character as the Main Hero Cheewin-but he was great in his romantic chemistry with View`s character as the Main-Heroine Nampeth. I have watched him before in the romantic comedy "Hua Jai Rua Puang" where his acting was Amazing. The drama grew more intense after every episode and you just grew impatient for the final battle of the villian-and for the dark hidden secret to be revealed.

"Embrace Before Dawn" draws you into a Gripping Love-Story.

I watched this drama a while back as well but was unable to find it later on because i did not know the title. This drama started off my journey with the Male Actor Yang PengCheng who i found absolutely captivating in his performance! He is a Tsundere Male Hero, cold, selfish and arrogant and deeply haggard over the Heart Curse, and needs to sleep with a certain female who has a blossom mark on her.She is his Antidote. (this seems to be a running theme in C-Dramaland,lol)
He is surprised when he knows its the daughter of his enemy who killed both his parents and who planted the Heart Curse inside of him. Despite him initially pursuing her for evil intensions, he does come to fall in love with her when he sees what a good human being she actually is. But when all is late he really gets a taste of the Karma that befell him even in the past.
Its a really emotional journey because as a viewer you really hurt for both mainleads, and you can`t help but really rooted for them. They were both lost, broken souls in their own way. Their bond in what they went through together really touching.

Beauty gets Picked to become the Hero`s Concubine

By the Hero`s wife herself, who is the second female lead. She picks FL for her scars that caused her to be ugly, so there is no chance of her husband falling for her. Well cover her surprise when she knows those black spots actually are fake. This plot is totally similar to another drama with same main actress called Jasmine`s Vendetta, only that one is set during the Republic on China.

Main actress is incredible in these femme fatale roles, she can be utterly adorable and dangerously sexy at the same time. No wonder all of her Male leads literally drowns in her softness. I have finished two Verticals with the same mainleads, i am gonna say that their chemistry is indeed amazing! Like the sexual tension is always insane between them.

The Forbidden Passion...

Female lead is in the role of vengeful femme fatale and i LOVE IT! Male lead is fascinated by her, and gives zero energy in even resisting her dangerous seduction despite being engaged to her sister. HE DID NOT GIVE A FUDGE, and even openly protected and loved female lead in turn, IN FRONT OF FREEKIN everyone..and he always did love her. The only reason i am not rating this higher is beacuse of SO MANY cuts that literally ruined the experience for me. Especially on the steamy parts. Like those editors...gahhh so mad at them!

I love the scene where he gives his marriage passport to his secretary and tells him to fly with a helicopter and throw it over the deep Pacific Ocean, for the female lead in whatever circumstances never be able to leave him. Badass.

I watched for Wang Xuan...gahhh this man!

This drama starts off very hot and amazing and does keep that way until the second part where everything gets to telenovela-ish. The initial plot is very exciting though, FL seduces the man her father sets her out to seduce and don`t remember the night afterwards. So when she goes to the Shadow Reaper, the infamous racedriver for help in wrecking her coming marriage wedding, she doesn`t know HE IS THE MAN SHE SEDUCED AND SPENT HER NIGHT WITH. So our ML is enraged by her attitude and in turn he proposes a deal for her to be his servant until the wedding date. Their chemistry is lovely, ML is very smitten and possessive...the way he pursued her took my breath away! His devilish smile by the way, yummm!

A Marriage in Turmoil-

The Main leads had a serious issue of communication issues, they only communicated in bed at ehmm nights but there were never real tokens and showing of affection or even care at day times, although the husband did secretly stuff to his wife`s sake. Still, she had no idea that he is madly in love with her which was obvious to all the other people around them. She wants divorce and he refuses to give it to her, so it becomes a battle of wills between this married couple...and ahhh the ever evident sexual tension is always there! The actors did a great job in portraying their emotional depth and their struggle to honestly communicating without the fear and pride stopping them.

Chemistry is ON-FIRE!!

I agree with everyone saying how absolutely smoldering and sexy this romance is between the mainleads! Added to that we have transmigration and a living host inside of FL who declares how much percent of feelings have grown inside of Male Lead for the Female Lead. I love that concept so much!!My first drama with the main actors and they are simply terrific together!

The Tiger luring the rabbit into his Love Trap!!

Loved this! It was cute, hella charming and so romantically sexy! This must be the second drama i seen Ben Wang as Male Hero and he did such a great job in portraying the very cold alluring CEO who finds himself extremely drawn to the very timid and vulnerable Female Heroine! I like that he actually is the young uncle of FL´s bestfriend and classmate and i love how protective FL´s friend are of her, everyone was also totally afraid of ML´s dangerous aura, he totally had the badass mafia vibe, he oozed of power and danger. Totally made my heart beat faster. I love how he slowly lured the FL to his side and slowly crept into her heart. The scene where he confessed, wow...so hot!

"Not even once did i win over myself, Without any strength i failed fleeing from my own heart" -OST

This is a old-school action/ romanctic drama lakhorn from 2002 and like the title says, it is based aorund a certain ring called: Jewel Encircled Diamond which is first seen on our heroine`s Pan Pailin`s (portrayed by Namfon Kullanat) finger for the first time at her parents fashion show in Hong Kong. Chaos erupts and tragedy befalls when her both parents get shot and one man in particular manages to rescue her, our charming but cynical hero Komute (portrayed by Bee Petvisetsiri).

The plot thickens even more when she moves in with her uncle and tolerates the verbal abuse from her jealous and greedy cousins and then she from nowhere gets forcefully engaged to the oldest son of a rich family. It happens to be the man Komute`s sister had been engaged to and got her pregnant with- and who also cruelly left her. Komute`s rage intensifies and he takes his sister to the wedding and curses Lin & Chanon. His hatred intensifies even more when he has to travel to Hong Kong and meets Lin on the journey- not knowing that she actually had a secret deal with her uncle to return the Jewel Encircled Diamond to a Mafia Don. And from then on Lin gets chased with Komute having to rescue her and escape with her everytime. This was an unforgettable journey indeed, what an adventure!!!

Their chemistry was literally sizzling my computer screen, omg how i loved them bickering. Those rare tender moments of him just looking at her longingly and kissing her cheek...ahhhhh my heart!!I love how Komute hated so badly to fall for her against his will. But ahhhhh how it was to late. He fell before he even knew her poor smitten hero. Lin was a beautiful and vulnerable heroine who strived to be strong and to not be helpless, as she was in most cases. We have the supporting sidekicks James & Alice who actually were the children of the Mafia Don who always helped Komute & Lin. This was a amazing drama, never a boring episode!

" I should never have came back into your life. I lit that fire of vengeance which was the starting point of all lies and pain."

- Yodthian

***
"Behind the Revenge" (which also has the title "Fai Luang") uses the havoc of fire to actually describe in the type of mess its plot is in for. Its remade from the original version that aired in 1998 that got very popular back then, this new version has changed a lot of important details and dynamics of the plot. Both versions however starts the same way. Our tenderhearted and selfless heroine Yodthian (starring Pimmy Pimrapa) enters the funeral of the one man she always has felt gratitude towards...knowing she will cause eruption from his family members. The reason being she is the younger sister of the man`s mistress that is hated by his wife and children. One person that gets specially furious is his son, the formidable heir Noppharuj (starring Son Yuke) and he throws her flowers to the ground and burns them to ashes...the moment is symbolic. Its that moment the vengeance starts with the storm and Noppahruj don`t back down to the end.

Who else was madly excited when the trailer released??!!! I was! I totally fell for the original version with Willie & Tao and was soooo excited when the new version would star Son & Pimmy in those roles since they are absolutely terrific actors. After its airing i got kinda dissappointed by the negative feedback it has got here on MDL, but i decided to give it a shot since i love the original story so much. We do get some romantic scenes in the new version, but the passion between the main-leads flared like instant fire whenever they were in the same room in the original version.

The character of Phonwalai (starring Bee Namthip) was the driving force of this plot. She is the Anti-heroine who craves revenge and does anything to step up the climber to get what she wants. She is extremely selfish, manipulative and ruthless when she needs to be. But she is also a bruised soul. So lonely and anxious in her sadness and grief and trauma. Not even her younger sister is able to help her. She does however stumble upon several rocks as soon as her weakness appears before her and gives way more attention to her sister than she liked. Nitan is such a charismatic villain. He is the joker and holds all the cards from the start. Nitan & Walai are like two stumbling rocks, one minute allies and the other enemies. One of the most toxic relationships i ever have seen on-screen must be between them, how they hated each other and how the other always got a upper hand. Wow, they made the episodes so exciting.

I may be generous with my rating, but the fact is that i actually binge watched this lakhorn in three days and immensely enjoyed the ride. It was a melodramatic thriller with a central love-story to the core, but absolutely fascinating with its business politics, actions of revenge and betrayals and the dysfunctional relationships that came through. I loved the way the story developed however dramatic to the events that changed everything. I never got bored with this drama.

"Sawan Biang" is a story that is very dear to me. Which is also the reason why i have watched 2008 version, 1998 version and now 1988 version. I love this story with its dynamics and complex characters. It also speaks up to how the upper class society was back then. This version stars the iconic thai actors Sam Yuranunt as Kawee Worawat and Tui Monrudee as Narin. We also have Mee Pisamai starring as Narin`s and Leela`s mother, have seen her in many other lakhorns.

While the 1998 version had been a pure gothic horror story, this 1988 version despite being older managed to craft a more empathic, emotional and developing plot-line. This is not the typical slap-kiss drama i am used to since slap-kiss usually involves more physical encounters between the main-leads (like 2008 version) but this version managed so well with the tension between Kawee and Narin. Both of them are unstoppable forces despite being different. Tui managed to show the fierce spirit of Narin whenever she encountered Kawee so well, she did not need to speak but spoke with her eyes. Splendid. Want to watch more lakhorns with this actress. Sam Yuranunt is a dynamic actor who created his own Kawee. He is selfish, rude, condescending and takes a lot of time to reflect and change. But this actor also managed to convey a charm to this character, a certain childishness that isn`t there in the other versions. It made him more endearing to me. I also love how he actually got feelings for her sooner and even bought a gift for her in secret.

We also see how careful the romantic developement is between Kawee and Narin. Especially when he pursues her when she is pregnant. They have these deep meaningful conversations and they got closer everytime.I like that. I am surprised by how much i enjoyed this version, much more than the 1998 version.

There is this bittersweet feeling i get whenever i finish watching a tv-drama i have come to greatly antcipate, enjoy and love."Princess and I" is one of those tv-dramas,i am happy yet sad at the same time. I have followed the main-characters Mikay,Gino and Jao for 210 episodes in this last month, following their journey of self-discovery,change,developement and realizations.Mikay is portrayed by the very beloved filipino star Kathryn Bernardo. She is a very humble human being,hard-working,loving and tough when hard times hit her and also very vulnerable.Good qualities on a future princess and queen.Kathryn being so young carried this role very well.I also watched this without english subtitles so i am very much aware that i have missed some great dialuge,so i will certainly re-watch it someday.Ah,i will miss this series!I also love that Daniel & Kathryn started dating around the time they made this telserya!

Gino Dela Rosa (portrayed by the filipino superstar Daniel Padilla) has his introduction after 12 episodes, but he takes the viewers with storm with his badass personality. He comes from a rich but very toxic family,so he is easily manipulative, ruthless and selfish when it comes to his behaviour and he stops from nothing to spit back on the people he despise. It changes when he comes to know Mikay, she shows him a whole new perspective on life and as time went on he fell completely in love with Mikay,he lost his arrogance and pride, and became her very passionate, stubborn and humble pursuer throughout the whole tv-drama. He would dream about her, wait in the rain for whole hours for her, travel in a rainy storm just to look for her, wear a blue teddy suit just to stop her date with another guy, face his family for her, become a man for her, protect her, and finally...to die for her.Even when she didn`t love him and loved another man...he still fought for her heart...he still fought for her to love him back even when he suffered so many times for it.Just wow, what a character!

"Luerd Hong" was the acting debut for many of the main-leads who are currently viewed as superstars of Thailand, especially Bee Namthip and Pong Nawat who came to develop their acting skills later on and became one of the head stars in Thai Lakhorns. This was also however Tew Sintiprab`s first time on-screen and the last.I love the opening theme which kinda reminds me of 90s Beverly Hills in some way because usually Thai Lakhorns doesn`t use openings that way,i really loved it in here.We all know the notorious trope:switched births which leads to much anxiety, drama, forbidden love and sorching romance and misunderstandings.Trainwreck as a whole and that is why this story is so entertaining.Bee had nice chemistry with both Tew and Pong and i know Bee also starred in many more lakhorns later with Pong.I will admit i prefer the later version starring Son and Vill more since their romance are better developed and they had more scenes together.
