This has to be one of the most slow-burn romantic lakhorns i have ever seen since they only fall in love after they get married after like 10 episodes.Mark fell in love with her much earlier while Bee had to truly see the goodness of Mark to get feelings for him.Margie did a great job as the stubborn tomboy Bee,she totally lighted up the screen with her expressions and crazy tantics!Boy gave a certain vulnerability to Mark`s character. He has the greatest character developement in this story where he realizes how he only makes his life harder by not being true to himself. He becomes more honorable, patient and nice throughout the story and falling for Bee was actually the best thing that could ever happen to him and i am so happy Bee and Mark found each other.Their scenes made me sigh, laugh and cry.I had so much fun with them!!Bella Ranee plays one of the evil Nang Rai`s in this one and wow how i got blown away by her performance. She was really good at making me hate her!

"If only there was a Spell in this World that could make the Rain Last Forever"
Ming Yi´s words to Ji Bo Zai are constantly ringing in my ears even after finished this masterpiece that has become Love in The Clouds. I am not much of a Full length c-drama watcher. But Shorts on youtube and the amazing reviews here on MDL made me want to give Love in The Clouds a shot. Honestly, i felt in my heart i would come to enjoy this drama, even love it. Love it i did.Everything about this story is top-notch. The romance is crafted in a epic way. Same with the directing, the settings, costumes...the plot. It felt like i stepped into a Enthralling Dream that i never wanted to wake up from. They had me on Edge the whole journey. They made me laugh and cry.I was deeply invested and binge watched this in four days. Damn, i am having a fever now.
I don`t know how to really move on now, these kind of fevers are the worst because of how bittersweet it is. My heart is heavy with happiness and sadness that the journey of Ming Yi & Ji Bo Zai has come to an end. Their love-story is so entertaining in its deceptive and light-hearted view with two mainleads that really initially distrust each other. But there is this magic between them, call it on-screen chemistry between Hou Ming & Lu Yu, i mean these two are incredible in their performances and it is indeed my first time watching them on-screen.I fell completely in love. The rawness, complexity, beauty and grace these two had and their view of life and the world. The way they viewed each other. So much admiration, respect and awe. Fated soulmates, without both of them knowing.
I will miss the scenes where Ji Bo Zai tease her, where she charms him, when they eat pancakes, when they are with their Beast Pets, training at the Shousha Academy, when they are connecting, when they are bonding, when they embrace each other, when they fight side by side...when they so lovingly and ardently protect each other. Love in The Clouds is a enchantment itself, a dream i indeed did not want to wake up from. Dear to my heart now.

Aghhhh this one made me blush!!
I have lost count how many times i watched several scenes of this mini-drama! The leads are absolutely gorgeous together and i totally fell in love with their individual personalities and how much of tough characters both are and the way they just ticked each other off-while having this insane attraction to each other! I love that Male lead did not even know that FL is the girl he was supposed to marry and was jealous of FL´s supposed husband that actually was HIM,LOL! The way he even demanded her to divorce him and that he would help her, just awwww these two totally stole my heart! And those kissess are fire!!Was this review helpful to you?
I don`t think i have cried this much in a while. God but the trainwreck in this story almost undid me. The consuming angst and the hot chemistry between James and Taew almost baffled me, and i loved it! I don`t think i have ever seen James more sexier than his character as Nai. I have watched many lakhorns starring James, but he has never acted so well as he did in this lakhorn as the tortured hero Nai. The expressions and the feelings that shimmered from him were all to good to be true, and Taew with her explosive performance as the spitfire character of Nok was so incredible that i actually for the first time truly fell in love with this actress too. Their romance are so swoony and the angst so heartbreaking that i have lost count of how many times i closed my lips for fear to the characters (especially Nok,she really knew how to push Nai`s buttons and make him kiss her passionately, ahh but i love slap-kiss). This is a MUST-WATCH for all lovers of Romantic Lakhorns. "Game Sanaeha" has the best charming cast that plays wonderful characters, hate-ful villians, drama with its exciting intrigues and a boiling burning romance where our hero with a extreme loyalty and patience loves our wild heroine throughout the journey, which really fascinated me. James Ji and Teaw gives us extraordinary performances in this intense drama...i could not sleep for two days while watching the whole journey...the Love-Story of Nok and Nai one i will never forget.!

"Embrace Before Dawn" draws you into a Gripping Love-Story.
I watched this drama a while back as well but was unable to find it later on because i did not know the title. This drama started off my journey with the Male Actor Yang PengCheng who i found absolutely captivating in his performance! He is a Tsundere Male Hero, cold, selfish and arrogant and deeply haggard over the Heart Curse, and needs to sleep with a certain female who has a blossom mark on her.She is his Antidote. (this seems to be a running theme in C-Dramaland,lol)He is surprised when he knows its the daughter of his enemy who killed both his parents and who planted the Heart Curse inside of him. Despite him initially pursuing her for evil intensions, he does come to fall in love with her when he sees what a good human being she actually is. But when all is late he really gets a taste of the Karma that befell him even in the past.
Its a really emotional journey because as a viewer you really hurt for both mainleads, and you can`t help but really rooted for them. They were both lost, broken souls in their own way. Their bond in what they went through together really touching.

Guilty Pleasure for sure!!
"Passionate Love" is not that very much of a fitting title. But the mainleads very natural chemistry is instant and clear and i was surprised to find that these are the same actors that co-starred in the very tragic "Love & Bid Farewell". I remember how awed i was by their chemistry despite him being the second male lead in that one. There is something very earnest in Ming Chen`s acting, he is not only beautiful looking but he is raw talent on-screen and the way he gazes at his heroine, the very stubborn and tough Wen Yu portrayed by the very talented actress Xuan Lin. They are a magnetic force together and i definitely want to see more of their projects together. Until now they have co-starred in four dramas together, they seem to be close in real life as well, hmm.If you find hard-core angsty, action packed and intense romance set in the Republic of China, add in revenge and hatred mixed with loving. This one is perfect for you. Its a classic in the genre.

The Forbidden Passion...
Female lead is in the role of vengeful femme fatale and i LOVE IT! Male lead is fascinated by her, and gives zero energy in even resisting her dangerous seduction despite being engaged to her sister. HE DID NOT GIVE A FUDGE, and even openly protected and loved female lead in turn, IN FRONT OF FREEKIN everyone..and he always did love her. The only reason i am not rating this higher is beacuse of SO MANY cuts that literally ruined the experience for me. Especially on the steamy parts. Like those editors...gahhh so mad at them!I love the scene where he gives his marriage passport to his secretary and tells him to fly with a helicopter and throw it over the deep Pacific Ocean, for the female lead in whatever circumstances never be able to leave him. Badass.

Felt like reading a Harlequin Romance!!
This was a fine love-story!Second chance of love is one of my fave tropes in romance genre! Filled with longing and tension!! The sensual quality of forbidden longing, a very insistent and in love Male Hero who pursues his heroine passionately! My first time seeing the actors portraying the main characters on-screen and the chemistry is so fine that i am not surprised they have several more mini-dramas together. The actress portraying the heroine is so doll alike and beautiful! Was this review helpful to you?
"Not even once did i win over myself, Without any strength i failed fleeing from my own heart" -OST
This is a old-school action/ romanctic drama lakhorn from 2002 and like the title says, it is based aorund a certain ring called: Jewel Encircled Diamond which is first seen on our heroine`s Pan Pailin`s (portrayed by Namfon Kullanat) finger for the first time at her parents fashion show in Hong Kong. Chaos erupts and tragedy befalls when her both parents get shot and one man in particular manages to rescue her, our charming but cynical hero Komute (portrayed by Bee Petvisetsiri). The plot thickens even more when she moves in with her uncle and tolerates the verbal abuse from her jealous and greedy cousins and then she from nowhere gets forcefully engaged to the oldest son of a rich family. It happens to be the man Komute`s sister had been engaged to and got her pregnant with- and who also cruelly left her. Komute`s rage intensifies and he takes his sister to the wedding and curses Lin & Chanon. His hatred intensifies even more when he has to travel to Hong Kong and meets Lin on the journey- not knowing that she actually had a secret deal with her uncle to return the Jewel Encircled Diamond to a Mafia Don. And from then on Lin gets chased with Komute having to rescue her and escape with her everytime. This was an unforgettable journey indeed, what an adventure!!!
Their chemistry was literally sizzling my computer screen, omg how i loved them bickering. Those rare tender moments of him just looking at her longingly and kissing her cheek...ahhhhh my heart!!I love how Komute hated so badly to fall for her against his will. But ahhhhh how it was to late. He fell before he even knew her poor smitten hero. Lin was a beautiful and vulnerable heroine who strived to be strong and to not be helpless, as she was in most cases. We have the supporting sidekicks James & Alice who actually were the children of the Mafia Don who always helped Komute & Lin. This was a amazing drama, never a boring episode!

I found the little boy Macmac very cute and my heart broke so much for him! It was so sad seeing him having to see those dead spirits.Cedric is a very mean guy from the start who under Leni`s influence starts to soften.I thought their blooming romance in these horrifying circumstances was very well done.I mean, the chemistry is always off the charts between them, love them so much!

I have had my share of movies starring the famous couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. This movie was not bad at all,but very much lovely and fun actually. We follow the rebellious main character Jackie who against her will gets taken to a village to volunteer on a medical mission in Tarlac. To her dismay, a place without any electricity and internet connection. But her cynical point of view slowly changes when she gets to know the bright and golden-hearted Kiko who also lives a unfortunate life but chooses to love instead of giving in to anger all the time. From teasing and bickering with each other, they fall completely in love. I love how Kathryn portrayed the troubled Jackie.Such a strong character, but very much vulnerable. It is so easy to be so much consumed by pain that you eventually do crazy stuff just to numb it out.You end up being so selfish and self-absorbed that you forget all the life and people around you.Kiko was right to point that out to her,and showed her an example of the poor life families have around the village. Kathryn could see the life Kiko lived. His own mother can`t even make herself to take care of him and his younger siblings, leaving all the responsibility on his shoulders while she parties away and gambles with her boyfriends. He has a rich father with his own family who never treats him more like a employer than a son.Kiko never asks from anything in return, but he does not want to cut ties with them because he considers them his family and he loves them no matter what even if they don`t appreciate him.My heart cried out for Kiko, his golden heart just made me swoon!I love the early scene where Jackie seduces him just to steal the keys from him and he tells her he is a virgin, lol!

Our Nangek (heroine) Nid have to go through many obstacles to win back the love of her life, our Praek (hero) San who have got amnesia, and who also doesn`t remember her and their time together on See Chang Island .Much angst are delivered in this story, with the antagonists doing everything to cause Nid harm, and keeping her away from her beloved San.
Overall,"Sao Noi" is far from being the perfect drama. But it has a lot to deliver..i have never by the way watched a thai lakhorn with this many episodes before, and i do not regret it.This drama also has 40% of the same cast as in another Vill-starrer "Sud Sai Pan".Son and Vill did well in portraying the undying and selfless love between Nid and San.I will look out for more dramas with Vill and Son together!Boonma and Kaew are one of the funniest secondary couples ever-their first meeting was totally romantic and charming.
Characters:
Vill Wannarot as Nid/Wanida: Vill is one of the few actresses i know of that delivers angst very well. She has a unique beauty and a face that don`t have to express her emotions-her eyes says it all.Her performance as the humble and innocent islander Nid was done very well...and her transformation into the sensual theater actress Wanida was done perfectly. She stole all hearts of the men,and more importantly her praeks.Nid is a heroine that can`t live without love once she has found it,once found it gets cruelly taken away from her,and we all follow her long journey in the dangerous and hypocritical High Society of Bangkok to find it again.
Son Yuke as San/Siam: Son reunites with his koo-jin Vill after 4 years in this drama as the rich heir who are engaged to Suwalee from the start. His character is a very passionate painter, who struggles to find his inspirational muse, but are very cynical and looks at the outside of every people. All that changes when he gets hit by a man and looses consciousness...and all his memories. He wakes up in the woods,as a new-born innocent soul. With the help from fate he finds See Chang Island and gets rescued by Nid who turns out to be his muse of inspiration, and soulmate.
Guy Ratchanok as Boonma:Guy shows his goofy charm in the character of Boonma,San`s loyal bestfriend who searches for San after his accident. A newspaper-reporter and striving to be a writer-he has a romantic heart, and a great loyalty to the people he loves. His character brought much humor to this drama, and made me fall in love with him.He finds his love-match in Nid`s bestfriend, the bold tom-boy Kaew.
Egg Butsakon as Suwalee: This girl dug her own grave, and jeez what a evil Nang Rai. She indeed loves no one but herself, and causes much harm to the main-leads due to her selfishness. The deed with the aunt was truly despicable-and both of them did get their karma!Egg did great job as Suwalee, she made me hate her immensely.I also kinda wish that Thana (played by Nut) ended up with her,he was one handsome devil that pursued Suwalee, but also ends up being the one getting revenge on her. They had lots of chemistry, but i guess the creators didn`t want Suwalee to find happiness.
Khongmalai as Marasee: What a stunning actress! She steals the heart of Khun Phra,San`s father.A famous bar-singer who are looked down by many people for her class and behaviour, becomes a true friend supporter and friend of Nid (to my surprise). This character had a lot of charisma and a very strong will that refused to surrender to anyone.I came to really admire her. I wish to see this actress in more lakhorns!

The first half is indeed the most interesting part of this Lakhorn. It has its moments of hilarious banter and humor. Where every character has its part of purpose. The villian Narong is a worthy one, even if he does deserve the ending he got i still think he was a redeemable character as he loves his adoptive sister Bproong with a intensity, and damn what a chemistry they have! Bproong was so self-destructive and mad that it made my head hurt to the bits. The risks she takes on winning Khonghai will frustrate you, but the actress do portray her so well that you do eventually wish for her to have happiness, and she could have that with Narong. But after the second half i struggled to finish this lakhorn, as the storyline took on a more crazy note and just took on bunch of drama to make it longer. Its a thai-lakhorn and they usually are overly dramatic, but this one just made my head hurt. Its my first time watching Rome and Chompoo in a lakhorn, and i do look forward to watch more of them, as i love Chompoo in the TV-SHOW 3-Zaap...her personality are so color-ful and naughty at the same time!
Her portrayal as Pai is done very well, as she did great with showing the struggle and pain in not being sure of the love of her husband. She was indeed sophisticated and smart throughout the story, and never backed away from a challenge. Always having the last word, liked that about her as a Nangek. Khongai is a man you struggle with, as he has the most character developement in this story. From a irresponsible and bratty person, he come to learn about the importance of family, life and love. Through his love for his wife Pai his view of the world changes and he learn to have compassion and patience and cherish his loved ones. He becomes a man who gets ready to take a bullet for his wife and child, thats a true hero indeed!
