She’s a baddie honestly. Youku did right by Peng this second time around. Shining just for you was a hit but also it didn’t showcase much of her acting/ character development. As many scenes were chopped and cut. But Dark river has given us fans and new fans the potential for Peng to actually get callbacks and more booked work. Everyday since Blood river and the first live press release she’s been on hot search daily. Not just for her acting but her beauty. Everyday there’s a new HS where netizens are saying “Why is she not as big as her other flower counterparts.” Backing is definitely the issue. I am smelling 2026 is Peng Xiao ran. China should make way because there’s a new 90s flower queen entering the chat and it’s about damn time. 😊
