I like how she is with the ML. That natural playful side of hers comes out - the dynamic we see with her cousin and family. Which shows that she is herself with him. And that is what she could not be with ZX. She had to walk on eggshells!

Me too. I have enjoyed every single one of them . The characters are very well written - so is the story

I do agree with that .the FL quietly distanced herself from that mess ZX and Rong. She did what she needed to do. I loved that scene where she coolly deletes that email from ZX with all the material for her thesis. But regardless that entire disgusting drama really left a bad taste in her. But they definitely showed the FL was clearly capable, strong and hardworking. Not what Rong thought she was . And that in itself shut her up

After they get together I think they will have some hurdles to cross in terms of the two families and the dynamics.

This drama is very nicely done. Nothing is lacking. The storytelling is beautiful

If you put it that way but GX should have stood up better for herself - it is not a crime to be from an affluent family. you know what the biggest problem was- those so called real friends of hers still kept RONG, ZX. And Si Liang really close and the FL had to put up with them. Why?? Is that kind of friendship really worth it?

I am rewatching ep 2 - why the heck did she not dial the real number to kick that Rong out of the interview. This is where she should have used some power play especially because she was bullied for her family being rich and influential. She should have really shown them . I would have loved to see that . Not even one person from the ‘friend’ circle was worth it. Not even that straightforward blunt girl. They are all so repulsive. And that Siliang- who lets a snake like that to be close .

Well all he did was to humiliate her and be condescending in front of her with his nose held high. I am rewatching episode 1 - from scene 1 that is all he is doing.

With the ML she can just be who she is and do what she wants . He just embraces all of it

That is called walking on egg shells in simple terms. You do it with people who are being manipulative, abusive, condescending and whee you are worried about humiliation . In other words with bullies . The FL was displaying all these symptoms with the SML. She was never her true self

Yep Yu tu respected the FL a lot - never humiliated her . Never trash talked- nothing.

Poorly expressed - LOL ok. I guess she does tend to put her foot in the mouth very often

Then the translation on the trailer I watched was wrong. If she said that then that would make more sense

Of course she is worried - that is a given - but what she said - I guess she meant I would be worried about anyone in this situation. - let alone you. Oh whatever. We shall wait for the episode to air
