And that Janthorn- both brothers had an ambiguous soft corner for her . It was really bizarre! I actually felt bad for the FL at that point. And the ML’s family is a hellhole. Anyone marrying into that will suffer

I was curious about this drama after I watched the FL in Dalah: death and roses . I don’t know if I am sold on the ML yet . I feel like he is not showing any interest on the FL whatsoever. Plus I don’t like his cold wishy washy character

Not really. They do have communication issues but given the ML’s background and personality it is not surprising.

Some people believe that it is abuse only when a woman gets beaten black and blue it’s really sad - I would say that is almost the entire world . People forget that hiding things stealing and also putting down your spouse using harsh words etc is also abuse and does far more damage to the person enduring it . And that is what Ya Yen went through . Her husband was controlling, manipulative and a con man and she was right to get rid of him

She is a good actress but it depends on the role and story. I loved her here and in Love at Night. She is definitely better suited for modern dramas

I am done with 25 episodes and I really loved this drama. The performances were so nuanced and the relationship between the leads was portrayed beautifully. They truly cherished and loved each other . They both dealt with past trauma but in different ways. I really liked how the ML played his character and how it translated across the screen. The FL did a great job being g the more mature, optimistic and positive person. This is a hidden gem and it looks like not a lot of people have watched it yet . A solid 9.0 for me . Some of the musics is very good . Nice soothing drama - reminded you a little bit When the weather is Fine and and Will love in Spring- both my favorites. And it reminded me a little bit of Lighter and Princess too given how steadfast their love was

Well I give the ML some room for empathy- he honestly has had such an awful life and that mother of his - she will not stop at anything - nothing and no one matters to her . Given everything that happened to him - I am not surprised at his actions. But yes I do feel bad for the FL. But I am glad she is giving him time .

How long is their rift going to last- it’s such a stalemate right now

I am on ep 11 and I not sure how much I like the FL. She does come across quite ambiguous- she does not demand much off the ML which is always a double edged sword. Being cool is one thing but this? I mean ten ML is already a pretty insecure guy given all his baggage and trust me she is not helping. Why not tell him directly who she met ans why talk about an uncertain future ? No wonder our ML is on the fence and can’t commit fully. She always gives the vibe of one foot out the door

This was good. The only thing is that everything with regards to the main case was all crammed into the last few episodes when they could have spread it out a little bit .

Wow! The story took quite the dark turn towards the end ! But still enjoying it ! And our ML got Al little hot headed when he went after Prince Cheng mindlessly. He kind of did his own grave. I guess he will escape - let’s see how

That marraige proposal was too drawn out ! They wasted so much time before getting to the main case . I am on ep 31 and they still have not gotten there .

I took a break and came back to this - yep episodes 23-25 have too many irritating conspiracies against our leads. I want them to get back to solving cases
