Like I said all bets are off. This is not a romance . The building of trust between the leads is a ginormous task. They are both grey characters . He keeps secrets and is ruthless because he is working on some things he can never reveal. And she is just vicious and vengeful just about everything that does not go her way . She only cares about herself and her survival. So if they don’t end up together it is no surprise. If they kill each other it is not a surprise . I am putting this one on hold and coming back when all episodes drop

Look at this point I am fine if this does not turn out to be a romance. She is very clear that all she wanats is power and revenge. She may or may not warm up to FU later . All she wants at least right now is revenge and she knows that he will protect her and help her . When all this is over if she just leaves him o would not be surprised because he just represents the means to get to her goal. I don’t think she wants to be a lover, wife or mother

This was never a romance . It was obvious from the beginning . I am here for all the scheming, plotting and the mind game that is going on. How could she be in a good mood when she got married when her mom just died , her father had imprisoned her and was trying to kill her and that stepbrother of hers physically abused her and tried to kill her? My question is why did she even go back to that house after what happened to her mom? And she is still yearning for affection from that family? What else can she expect when they sent her away like that when she was a baby??

Hmmm! Ep 19 was something Yuchi the abuser and bottom feeder deserved to die! I really did not like how he treated the FL. Again - the FL should not have gone back home . I wish Yunxi had advised her not to because she was clearly walking into a trap . It’s a miracle the dad did not try to kill her.
I am glad we got Yunxi’s story and it is very clear why he had to keep secrets and do certain things . Dealing with her dad is not at all easy

To each unto their own. I am loving this drama and yes she is a flawed character that does make us frustrated . Well someone already called her that here and I do think it is a good analogy. No one is trying to insult her . But when she is angry - the rage just consumes her. That has been her MO from the beginning
