I am from Asia but don’t live there but yes I know some of the traditions . And yes they are nuts . Especially with regards to women. If only they could treat the women better . but then all over the world this is an issue

I am a woman and an independent working one at that and I don’t like this line for conversation. Women over 35 are actually very confident - they are the best . They have a lot of self esteem and dignity. It is the best age to be. Please don’t degrade women here. If you want to analyze the drama characters that is fine but what you said here is out of line. Please be respectful.

Yes the FL’s EQ was off. She did not give him that sense of security for him to confide in her and ask for that support. And that move of hers to marry Feng Sheng- that really irked me. The guy lost everything and she just walked away thinking he played with her?? Oh well !

Yes- you would wonder. That is what I am seeing now. More than supportive and ‘good’ XCX understands him better and they work together well. She is not self absorbed like the FL is. If only we could find a better reason for why the ML should be with the FL other than that is what the author wants 😂that would be great! I am still waiting for a story where the ML and FL break up because they are incompatible and have happily moved on to other people . And when they meet again they have left the baggage behind 😂.

She was truly amazing in Northward. One of the best actresses around who can pull off any role . Her chemistry with all her costars are great and she just elevates their performances

Yes a lot of us are at this point. They definitely have a lot going on for them. That trust , communication and understanding is there between them. Even that restaurant owner who appeared briefly seemed like a good fit personality wise
