Actually the romance in this was quite realistic and well done . It is always the quality that counts! The romance was always in the background from the beginning and all the moments were beautiful!

But they harm the people who try to help them. That is the issue

XC would have fallen apart and made everything a mess. It’s amazing how strong , mature and astute WH - he is not perfect - has his flaws but has his head in the right place . There is a lot of depth to FH and his character . That determination that both of them have is unbelievable. Yeah beautifully written characters

Well that woman will do anything for money. She tried to mess with WH after taking money from that mole guy. Such people do not deserve anything and FH should not have bothered with them. Nothing is enough for such people . They don’t take responsibility for themselves and the just take and take - there is no guilt, gratitude nothing . Did she ever lift a finger for herself or her family? No. She tried to swindle money from FH too

I really liked how WH dropped everything and came for her. They both know and understand each other . They are both beautifully written characters ! They are each other’s support always

I am hehind. I am on ep 33 and let me tell you - that He family is a pain. That wife is totally useless.. all she can do is blame other people and ask for handouts . And Feng Hua is making a mistake by encouraging them like that . She herself has a lot to deal with and she is taking on this pressure too?

Yeah but the things that Zhuang family is getting away with is just outrageous. There is no one there to stop them

As to Wang He coming across as an elitist- there are people like that . - some people build that persona for themselves . They are very confident and they project this persona that they are very well educated and come from money. Nothing wrong with that .

WH probably would have needed more. - he may have ventured into another business there which may have led to other problems . He would still be ambitious . Would FH not have gotten sick - can’t say for sure - there are no guarantees. XC probably would have

wastrel. not sure what the right answer would be. I don’t think the friends were greedy- having that passion and drive and wanting to make something of yourself when you are young is normal. But we all also know that pushing oneself the way FH and WH does not necessarily yield good results .

Yes they are such close friends . That is what makes it even more 🤮. Xingchi is as selfish as his dad . They are very alike .

Just chasing material wealth does not make anyone happy that is for sure. If you are not feeding your soul - it will stay empty . Even if that employee had stocks running a red light is really stupid . Looks like that greedy wife of his is going to again torment Bee to pay her. In fact she was the one who forced her husband to leave Feng Hua’s company and work atWH ‘s company because of all the perks and extra. 💰 . They are showing already that money and materialistic wants are very fickle . They are there today and gone tomorrow

Agreed that he has had a comfortable life with really loving parents who made sure that he did not lack anything. And I think that is what gives him that confidence and secure feeling and some amount of his courage. If he went through an illness he may or may not push hard . But right now looks like he is very stressed . They showed him having palpitations. So actually may slow down

I don’t like the way he is pursuing Huazi even though he knows that her heart belongs to Wang He. I feel like everyone coddles him too much and he still behaves like a spoilt child

I love how they have created WH’s character . He is the real thing. And they are also showing how he is falling apart . They are all from poor families and they have seen their parents suffer when they were young - especially FH and WH. So it is not surprising that being successful and comfortable is what WH wants the most in life . If we look around us there are a lot of people like that

FH blaming WH for that driver He ‘s death was again ridiculous . Everyone makes choices - that guy made a choice to run the red light in the rain. The one I feel bad for is WH. He honestly does need any of this in his life .

Exactly ! WH does not catch a break. But no one says anything about him. And yes he was ok with XC being interested in FH. If anything WH is very magnanimous. And it’s not like he just raced behind his ambitions - he made sure his 2 friends - even this loser- was part of the plan. WH is the only one who is trying to hold everyone’s reins together and things don’t fall apart.
