Yes Mingmei has a child in the present but they have not shown the dad. If it is the teacher I am going to explode. I am catching up on the episodes today. Also I know everyone here loves Song Mingmei but I find her a bit over the top and her behavior towards that teacher is a bit inappropriate. And if that turns into a relationship I won’t be shipping it. The chemistry does feel different from L&P because the story is very different. Yep he definitely thinks she is married in the present . And if that creep Feng Sheng made something like that up I would not be surprised. But also with her insecure character if she made it up herself. We already see how upset she gets with little things. She does not try to even sort it out with him. Plus she hides things from the ML. And yes I love Gan Yang’s character. Very well written.
