The thing is he knew what he was getting into- still she waited till the last minute even to marry him. She did not even have the decency to follow through with that too. She could have been happy that he was way more than just a frail sick guy and appreciated it because she would have benefited from it. But her behavior has been atrocious so far.

I actually loved the FL in Love for you and she is very different from this portrayal of an ‘empowered woman’ . There the FL had many qualities of an empowered woman. Not so much here .
