Definitely. But that OST titled Lone Lamp Crossing is so soulful! It’s beautiful. But the dark aura is incorporated very well! And this is needed for this drama
I love the OST Lone Lamp Crossing - it’s beautiful and haunting ! I also like Above all Spirits by Huang Xiaoyun. She has an amazing voice And of course Zhou Sen’s song - it adds the right mood for this drama

I don’t think Dilraba can play a childish , silly naive FL. Thank god for that. She is adorable in this one . I love it. There is power, intelligence and maturity that she exudes - even the ML acknowledges the power and intellect she has . But then a certain innocence comes out when she experiences the senses for the first time. I actually like that they have shown that - she is like a child experiencing things for the first time- there is a difference

He is very cunning like a fox. It’s the way he deals with his enemies too. Very strategic. Remember in Who Rules the World also the FL calls the ML foxy? It’s because of that cunning and strategic mind
Duan Xu destroying the enemy camp was 💥👌🏻🥰 the entire ep gave me goose bumps..CFY nailed the scene.
You know - at one point in ep 10 he thinks ‘is the world really this beautiful?’ When she is enjoying his sense of touch- that is when you can know that his life has truly been devoid of simple pleasures. It was very telling. And that is the joy he is going to get through her . She may be a ghost devoid of senses but Duan Xu Has not enjoyed any of them in that sense even though he had them

He sure did. We had not seen something like this in a while plus the sequence was beautifully directed. Chen Fei Yu does dark well. It suits him. His character here is not lively - given that he is an assassin and a general he sees death around him all the time. They have captured that well

Well to each unto their own . I know POJ is popular but according to me - there was no ‘story’ there. The ML’s character growth was so stunted that I felt bad for the actor. I dropped it half way because the story of a butcher woman becoming all powerful did not make sense . I am enjoying this fantasy drama so much more. So there you go everyone has their opinion just like all of us are different . But please talk about this drama if you come here . No need for comparison .
