I would not call it slow - but in the void episodes you get to know He Simu more and discover the obstacles to their relationship. There is more world building in these episodes. Since the main antagonists are from the Void and what happens there it is importan to get to know the dynamics .

I honestly fast forwarded episode 26 . Because it was the same thing again and again. There has been no change in the story ugh

Li Zhen should walk out of this sorry excuse of.a family - if people in this family can get manipulated by the 4 th aunt so easily then what is the point. No one trusts her but she is still working her ass off.. I have found that the biggest obstacle to LiZhen’s progress is that she is carrying that entire useless family over her shoulders and some of them are not even grateful. And the rest are spineless and useless or they are backstabbers

I may have to put this on hold if this drama keeps going through the same vicious cycle again and again 🤷🏽‍♀️. More scheming from 4th aunt and Tian Benchang ugh how tiresome .

The ML is there just to entertain the FL. No other value added there. He is just cruising through life and reminiscing the past . I wish at some point he atleast reveals his identity to the FL

I do think the plot is getting repetitive at this point. Apart from the FL no one the Li family is capable of anything. This is a little much 🙄

She contributed by sabotaging the family and the business. Not sure why they have not kicked her out. They did it to the 8th branch but not her after everything she did. It is a little ridiculous

Well they go to extremes - either they are too smart or they are like this. There is no middle ground

Nah- his character is not written well. In fact it has been very blah time now and even his role has been reduced to nothing

I hear you- I hope this changes in the upcoming episodes. He hardly appears and when he does there is no impact. Zero character development. That revenge arc is also very weak .

That Tian family only lives and breathes greed. There is nothing else there

The only way the ML can take revenge on the Tian family is by bringing the downfall of their ink business. Now he has found a way in through Li ink- maybe by working there is how he will find his way?

I do think the ML has been a little too soft and cautious with his revenge at this point. When he invested in Chen and Li ink he did not expect that result - but I guess he should have
