We would want L&P to continue forever. HL was a cute fun watch for me and the FL did mature from a child to an adult. But in L&P it was all about character growth and communication - which is what is important in real world relationships- so L&P is something I can identify more with

Yes I feel like skipping too- they are very painful episodes - it’s like everything implodes for both of them and we as viewers cannot take it. But I have not skipped it - I go through it with them every single time. With regards to the music - I agree those vibes set in when you listen and you think about the story when you listen

Totally agree I was invested from the beginning - the music is so good- I am actually listening to it now after my rewatch :)

Don’t get me wrong I loved Yoi are my glory and have watched it multiple times. Hidden love was too simple for me- it was like roses all the way- not my cup of tea. I like more mature romances and L&P and You are my glory were that. L&P surely is one of a kind - nothing else compares

It’s way before that - you can absolutely see they love each other . It is not about their first kiss - it’s more than that

Was their relationship toxic? I actually do not think so. Relationships are never black and white even in real life. They actually had a wonderful relationship where they loved, respected and cared for each other. So it was not toxic. Gao was the red flag and his relationship with Xu Lina was very abnormal and toxic

Please! Hidden love is a simple teen romance compared to how complex this story is. Do not compare 2 very different dramas. If Hidden love is your cup of tea- then this drama is not for you with all the layers and very well developed characters who honestly are flawed just like in real life.

The ML actually is a wonderful character -it’s only on the outside he is like that. I really loved him

Yes they had an absolutely beautiful relationship - sad at times -yes- but absolutely beautiful

The ML is not a red flag- on the contrary he treats the Fl with a lot of respect and love. It’s just unfortunate that they have that many disasters from episode 20-24. I would blame all the circumstances piling up on them one by one rather than him. I just felt sorry for the ML through out the drama because no one considers his difficulties or helplessness- just to get some respect and dignity and even that acknowledgement that he is good it’s so hard for him. So you end up rooting for him till the end. He was a very soft and emotional guy inside who really cared for the people around him even if they had wronged him.

Completely agreed- Long Ballad was so much better than this and the story was way more interesting. Also the FL character was more bearable there than here. I just could not stand her in the later episodes here

Ugh! What can I say- very underwhelming, unwontedly heavy and what was the scriptwriter thinking . The story was neither here nor there, just wasted screen space. And I hated that FL to the end . She was the most selfish, self serving , entitled person I have see - her revenge aside. They should not have ended up together. She did not deserve the CP- he was too good for her

If he said ‘ when the Snowy Rosa blooms just think it is him visiting hee’ that means it’s symbolic- I don’t think he was really there

It was. A very beautiful drama- totally worth it. I loved the FL’s character. The ML should have accepted their love earlier and admitted it. He put her through so much torture and pain. Yes he was a priest but he could have reconciled with it sooner. It would have given them more time despite the doomed destiny as star crossed lovers. Especially since he was ok with that
