Yeah it is a very interesting drama all these issues that both the ML and FL have are adding to the development of the story. I am very curious to see how they get back together again

Xu Qin is a classic example of someone who has been manipulated and controlled since childhood that she does not have an identity and cannot make a single life decision for herself out of fear. She is really pitiful. You can see that she has a little bit of fight in her with the way she handles her career but when it comes to her family she is truly helpless

Yes he definitely called the brother out. That was the highlight of the scene. He said the brother was a hypocrite and needs to figure out why he is abnormally possessive about his sister. I am sure the ML already knew she was adopted from before. That should not be a surprise given that they dated for some time

Yes there is gratitude and guilt - I think she is being guilt tripped by that mom and her circumstances all the time. In episode 10 it was very clear she accepts who she is in her entirety and what she expects from the ML if she has to stand up for herself. That scene was mind blowing and I completely agree- her whole life is at stake here and she has no confidence to stand up for herself unless the ML can offer her way more.
I wish the ML can accept his shortcomings and psychological issues too. I have not seen it so far

Yep the FL bashing never stops! They will forgive the most douchebags of MLs but even a small imperfection in the FL will get amplified and sometimes it is somethig as ridiculous as casting or the character they are supposed to portray

This is such an entertaining show! I just love the FL! Lol- she is a treat to watch. Very interesting drama as the plot unfolds. I think the ML’s contradictory feelings towards her all the time will make them enemies and I think that Teacher of the ML will cash in on that

People are looking for a bubbly fluffy romance here . They are going to be disappointed because the story here is much more than that. They are not able to accept traumatized leads who are far from perfect. I am actually liking this drama. Feels more real.

Well I sympathize with her character because I’m reality what people go through does affect their surroundings and interactions. I never saw her treat others badly though. It is others who treat her badly- she is more of a passive push over from what I can see

Yes she is not your ordinary normal person. She definitely has psychological issues but if someone is repressed that much plus she is an orphan who was adopted- you have to sympathize because those circumstances are not easy. Both the ML AND FL in this drama are not mentally healthy people

Everyone is being very judgemental of the FL in this scene. She probably just panicked and not thinking straight once car started sinking and water started coming in like any normal person

Both ML and FL have mental issues to work out for sure. They are both not healthy people. The way the ML reacts when he comes to know his friend is leaving was pretty abnormal too. They are both complex, hurt characters
