Agreed. No other modern drama can match this one in terms story, depth of characterization and the intensity of the story line. It’s one of a kind and I do not think there will be one for a while

That’s really what makes it better than the other drama for some of us . But you are right there are also quite a few viewers that can’t stomach this much intensity

That regret was definitely essential for LSS ‘ character otherwise everything would have been meaningless. That is exactly why I like that ending as well.

This drama is for viewers who love a unique complex storyline and complex characters. This is for viewers who lik depth and want to analyze everything . Not for the the normal viewer who wants a simple story with. A happy ending

Exactly my point . TTJ was a more pitiable person who had so much character development. Plus he was good to his people and very loyal to them if he cared about them- we saw that to a certain extent with XL as well

Yes a rewatch definitely helped understand the dream arc and how the story evolved better

Agreed the dream sequence is very critical to the main plot later - not just character development but also to the ending

Yes it was a full circle. Also TTJ gained the most from that dream even though it was meant for LSS/YXW to figure out how to kill the devil fetus. . But TTJ extrapolated so much from the dream later when he became CJM and it helped him figure out what to do to end all of it

That’s the thing though even if SY was around MY would not have known what to do - in comparison TTJ loved YXW and did a lot for her even though he was imperfect in many ways. That is why YXW could not hate him completely either - she was so conflicted

To be honest - I have not read the novel- but drama TTJ was an ok character - I could like him
