I also would not call it obsession. It was unfulfilled love because she was the only one who cared about him but still never admitted it. And to top it she wanted to abandon him and kill him . The fact that he did not get any love throughout his life made it worse

Yes TTJ is excellent if not for that devil fetus thing. He was an also a great ruler and cared for his people- and wanted peace. That would not have been the case of he was truly evil

Yes Lighter abs Princess and TTEOM are the best dramas of this year and the leads are amazing in both

the Original Ye XiWu was cruel to him but LSS in the form of YXW was affectionate, caring and respectful to him it’s just that her mission took precedence over all her priorities . Otherwise she was the only one who loved TTJ for who he was

I take that back after rewatching. Given that she was still thinking about him when she became LSS again and could not let him go shows that she had started loving him as YXW. But that was not her priority, the mission was.

They have an extremely complex relationship. It’s not complete hate from here part either . It’s like she is torn between who he is and who he will become but I think she had fallen for him in the TTJ arc but does not realize it. That is why it is very painful for her when she tries to kill him

Yes he had tremendous character growth and he is the only one who took away so much from that dream arc

She definitely did not love him much in the TTJ -YXW arc. Maybe she had some pity - but all her actions were only geared towards finishing her mission. She did commit a few big blunders though that almost botched everything

That was not the reason she exchanged her divine core- she did it because the spikes did not kill him, so this was the method that Ji Ze made her remember from the dream. That was not out of love - it was all for the mission.
But yes she did care for him in her own way - that turned into love only towards the end
