The ending is kind of in the middle . They both completed their mission and one of them was left alive in the aftermath. It is a fair ending because there was no other way out to accomplish what she wanted

We should rate this drama highly for the complexity of the characters , the acting and story arcs. But other than that the main story itself had a very biased outlook to it. Of course it hinged a little on the reality which is the dual nature of the human being I.e. both good and evil but to say you have to eliminate one to get rid of the other is not realistic.

No drama of this genre compares to this one- I was totally blown away by this one- it was so complex and beautifully done and it had such a gothic feel to it. Ancient Love Poetry is good you may want to try that one if you have not watched it
