That is the male character - he is cold, unfriendly, rude and has very rough edges. And a lot of the story is about his character development and how the female plays a huge role in it. They are not sugarcoating anything here .

In fact after 4th watch I have come to the conclusion that ZY is the most interesting character. She is not a doormat. She is actually a very strong person who knows exactly what she wants and she goes at it - nothing can stop her. T really admirable character. This show also captures the fact that a relationship/loving someone is not just about the fluff and romance- it’s so much more deeper than that. There will be ups and downs in life and you have to stand with each other through all of this

I did not say anything negative - just that this cannot be categorized as a melodrama for the same reasons you alluded to

Yeah I had to divert from the females point of view as well to look at it objectively.. the show is so skewed in the direction of the female character that it’s very easy to look at just her viewpoint.

My question is why was she keeping those pictures and why air it out now? It all sounds very fishy. It looks like somebody is deliberately dredging up dirt on him as soon as he became popular

Actually the female lead is the one who comes across as a jerk here - he is not so bad - he even told her how his feelings had changed for etc etc and he is trying so hard. The problem is that the female does not know what she wants hence she can’t explain to him. And yes she does not try to understand him at all

Yes I agree - she refuses to understand him or put herself in his shoes. And don’t be sorry I feel the same . People are trying to justify everything about her just because she is a female - but that is wrong. Let’s be honest here - I feel like their break up is a good thing right now

At this point I think it is the female who needs to grow up. She thinks that she owns him and can force him to do whatever she wants. She said equal relationship is what she wants but then her expectations of the male are plain ridiculous. Her sulking is just getting on my nerves

It is really not melodrama - I would not call it that

We can’t make that conclusion since we really did not see much of that relationship . What we saw was how she thought she thing was wrong and dumped him that’s all. But what we are seeing in detail is how his relationship with the female is playing out. And I feel that the female has a certain ideal vision of him which he is not . It was clear after the 2nd break up that she is unsure of what exactly she wants and she never looks at herself and acknowledges her flaws even. He is atleast trying g to analyze himself and figure out what he can do better to be with her. But she is just looking at how he can change for her but not what she needs to do as well to get there. That is the issue

Oh wow episode 11 and still lying? Yikes! This seems to be a very silly story. I am on episode 2 and am dropping it

Every person is different and it did not work with the first one either - from what I gathered there were issues with his first GF too. At this point I actually find the female to be immature and indecisive.

I am actually more confident in the male’s conviction to be with her rather than that of the female at this point.
