People are unhappy about this kind of incomplete ending only because the show was so good and they expected more. Yes they went to a different level and that is what made it so good but they could have given us a better executed ending or stuck to the way it was in the novel- which would have made more sense

Yeah after executing the earlier episodes so well- they botched up the episodes in the end. I loved the drama but the ending was unsatisfactory and incomplete, its execution was poor and felt rushed- they could have spared us one more episode and given us the novel ending - that would have made more sense

Yes that novel ending is definitely better and more worth it. What they gave us was a half baked ending - not sad, not happy, not bittersweet. Especially after putting in so much effort
I did not mind the sad ending - but this was an incomplete one and I am not too happy with it. And everything in that last episode was so confusing- whey the hell did they rush this after setting it up so well? They could have stuck to the bittersweet novel ending and it would have made more sense. And instead of rushing it they could have given us one more episode to tie things up well. I mean what was this???
Yeah her character is bright and lively but sometime I wish she would just shut up. Her mouth gets her in too much trouble and as for the guy he definitely does not deserve her. She could do way better than that

I think you are the one being condenscendibg and rude just because someone tried to state their opinion - there is no need to lash out at people. Also he is not a morally grey character - in fact he is very principled and honest. He is not the typical bad boy. And yes please stop lashing out at people who disagree with you on a public forum.

He did try to explain - to be fair that is the first project he is trying to get for the base- but Gao really did not listen to LX’ critique- do he let them see what they were up against- which I think is fair. The FL actually understood that and that is why she did not say much. And yes that is how his character is written- he is antisocial until the FL opens him up a little bit. He still stays the same though for the most part. If you are looking for a very civil courteous ML- this is not it. There is no sugarcoating here. All characters are flawed and very real and that is really the best part about the drama. Everyone makes mistakes.
