This is a different type of story. It is not as simple as that. The time this story is set in is not great and ‘love’ is not the most important thing. They all have things that have to fight for. So there is a little bit more going on here than just a romance. And no FL is not some flaky character . In fact she is very loyal and strong willed . And there is no ‘bunch of men’ trying to marry FL. The leads have a beautiful story

This drama is a rare gem! Sun Qian is a great actress! Both the leads are just awesome and their chemistry is beautiful. You can see how Fang Muyang is really going to cherish her!
The FL by being this way does not even have to announce to the world that they have a fake marriage. They will all know by just looking at her. She is not at all convincing 😂😂

Yes Lin Yusen was very level headed and mature. Given what happened to him with his career gone, his family being the way there were and the girl he liked had not even bothered to acknowledge him, he could have been the most insecure person and it could have been justified but he was not. He had a very positive open outlook towards life. It took a lot of courage for him to approach her again and date her . But once he had decided, he never wavered . Xiguang really grew and matured with his nurture. It was a beautiful story because they both fully embraced each other for who they were. Xiguang’s college classmates were a nasty lot- they never cherished her as a friend or for who she was. And the damage they did to her identity and self esteem was really serious.

She was not thinking straight - humans in general are flawed. But nothing good comes from pushing everyone away and sacrificing one’s self for revenge . I am glad she realized it too. I am watching on Netflix so the final episode is not out yet .
