Agreed. Zhuang Xu never tried to look within himself or acknowledge his faults. He actually bullied and humiliated Xiguang- I did not see an ounce of respect or care for Xiguang in him. He just wallowed in self pity and placed the blame on Xiguang (not everyone) . He made her out to be the two timer when it was actually him who was doing that with Rong and not giving Xiguang a clear response . He really was a big red flag. Oh yes and Zhuang Xu’s excuses were ridiculous. On the other hand Lin Yusen admitted his faults and even apologized after that whole misunderstanding clear . Lin Yusen was a very high quality guy when compared to Zhuang Xu. Like you said - who wouldn’t fall in love with him. He was honest, loyal, more importantly self aware and conscientious enough to own his mistakes . He had a positive outlook towards life and the capability to let go and start fresh. We could all take a page from this honestly!

So after watching 10 episodes and much contemplation I don’t like Fang Mujing. So this brother and sister are very different. While she tries to erase her intellectual family background , Fang Muyang actually cherishes it and missed his parents.
And she married this guy for all the opportunities she could get just like she denounced her parents to go to university. So I don’t believe she had the right to question him and get heartbroken because she is a substitute for his ex- GF. If she really cared about who she was marrying and not just the background and her selfish agenda she might have waited till she knew everything about him to make the decision. But since she was so hasty with an ulterior motive she has to lay on the bed she made. They are definitely going to be a complex couple .
