So I came back tot he forum to see how things are going and it looks like people are getting really nitpicky to put down a well put together story / drama. One of the biggest issue seems to be that the drama is not smutty enough for certain audiences. Well too bad that they cannot enjoy the blossoming of a mutually respectful relationship full of dignity and aspirations.
The other gripe is trashing a well written FL character . She is 22- 23 yrs old when she meets the ML. How much maturity and worldly wise behavior do you expect from someone who has just graduated from school? She played her age well- which is normal. And she grew during the relationship which is importsnt . None of us are perfect so this criticism is far fetched ,
And the story was more about building a relationship, which takes time even in real life. . Adding to that they both needed things sorted out. So given that they handled this aspect well. A long term relationship is not just about physical intimacy it is about getting to a point where you know and trust each other to want to spend your life with them. Coming to the focus on work/ PV technology. I think what they tried to show here was that the couple found their shared goals and aspirations through this. And the FL found her direction in life. I think it added a nice layer to the drama and I did learn a lot about this sector . The ML became her compass in a certain sense the way he nurtured her . Why would this be a negative thing? This drama had the most realistic depiction of a relationship. And the 13 yr jump gave a good closure to the story showing them as a family and also as individuals who have their individual dreams.. Finally for those who feel sympathetic to the SML. He was a coward period. Someone like that should never be in a relationship. Even if they got together it would not have lasted. It was a very satisfying story in many ways. So trashing it for frivolous reasons is not necessary .

Her strength came from trampling on others - marginalizing, humiliating and diminishing everyone. That is not strength - that is more manipulation- she was power hungry - she needed to get her way at all costs- controlling. Gaslighting, domineering. All of these qualities were there and that is not strength . She was more of a bully. It’s more of a pathological behavior. She was not really not right in her head

Please don’t make sweeping judgments about me . I don’t think this has anything to do with the drama being historical or modern. My opinion is solely based on this story and what they showed .
Up until that point, the drama was really enjoyable. And he went to save a life, knowing how important she is…
