But the ML is also taking a very grounded, organic approach for 2 reasons: 1. The accident from 2 years ago since he was supposedly going to see her and the aftermath 2. She is still not over the SML So I would say that they are both taking a very realistic, rational /practical approach to it

I don’t think revenge was on his mind at any point. He only wanted to find out why she had treated him that way and was angry that he lost his career and she did not even bother to look him up. At the hospital - things truly did not add up because her behavior and reaction was very contradictory . He is not a petty man. He has been very sincere towards her from the beginning. As he told his mom- he decided to let go after the hospital incident . But after he learned the whole truth , he understood how wrong he was and probably felt that he lost everything for nothing - it was not even for the right person. And yes he was feeling bad that he treated her that way. That is why he needed space to process which is understandable

Even if he had no self confidence he had no right the just humiliate her publicly every given chance. He . He made her fell guilty and ashamed that she was from a rich family. As though she owed him something and needed to apologetic for it. That is what I hated. He also just stood there and watched when Rong accused her like that. And he chose to believe Rong rather than communicate with her directly. I could go on - but he is not getting an ounce of pity or sympathy from me.
