I mean, would you cast someone who can't swim/afraid of water play a Olympic swimmer ? Like I totally respect…
No, I'm not arguing about personal taste. Like I said, it's fine if you liked it. OP was piss off that peoples didn't like it because the actress didn't perform kissing scene and I explained why most peoples find that lacking. It can still be a great drama like you said, but it leave a bad aftertaste sometime. And obviously, peoples will point out that fact.
I mean, would you cast someone who can't swim/afraid of water play a Olympic swimmer ? Like I totally respect…
I'm not arguing about personal taste here. What does it matter that you are fine with it ? The general consensus is that an actor that don't do kissing scene in a romance drama isn't the best choice. I don't even understand what anyone would argue about that.
Just to be clear, I'm not saying she is a bad actress or she should have kissed even if she was against it. Just saying, casting her for that role wasn't the best idea. I'm pretty sure she isn't the only good actress out there - and most of them would have been fine with a kissing scene.
I saw a lot. Now, I wanna say my own opinions. So, The controversy about Liu Haocun is totally pissing me off.…
I mean, would you cast someone who can't swim/afraid of water play a Olympic swimmer ? Like I totally respect her own choice for not doing kissing scene but casting her in a purely romantic role was a huge mistake.
From a western PoV, it's just weird. I don't know if it bother them - as quite a few C-Actor also have this "no kissing" policy even if they do act in a romantic pairing - but yeah I fully understand the disappointment. I guess western audience weren't their priority in this one.
Pretty much faithful to the webtoon so far. I really loved the couple in this - it's one of the most healthy one as both of them are green flag more or less - and their dating era is really cute! I'm looking forward to it! :D
For a short drama without much budget, it's really good. I'm always afraid when a child have a main role in Chinese drama because sometime I think they hired the producer's niece or the little boy next door but it isn't the case here. She is cute & bubbly without overacting too much like some child actors do.
I also really like the fact both of them are reincarnated. It's a nice twist that I didn't seen yet.
Still really good but I think they made a typo in the tittle. Isn't that suposed to be "The Next Princess" ? With how many time he get a princess carry, I begin to have second thought. :P
When one holds a royal position and the other a caretaker, you often can't deny what they tell you to do.I doubt…
More than the dog leash, I was more concerned at how he reacted when he saw him with Charan. He was forceful here. And controlling. They weren't role playing anything here. I don't deny that the poor guy seems to genuinely love him - and in his twisted way, Cobra Boy also to care for him as his father control him because of their relationship but it's unhealthy and the poor boy is clearly abused by father & son.
If you can't bear to see any negativity about this show I'd recommend gathering your fellow fans and make something…
Don't mind the rating. Early rating means nothing for two reason:
- On MDL, early rating is... weird ? It stabilize after a few week so never trust any rating on a freshly airing drama.
- And most important, who the hell would trust rating in the first place when the drama just begun ? Except if they are REALLY bad - like 6 or lower, most peoples will first read the comment section to get their first idea.
I mean, don't worry that it will impact the success of this show.
I really enjoy this! But if I would nitpick it's about how they deal with their antagonist. Like the "cousin" of ML dying off screen or the general being assassinated without any backlash. If it was this "easy" why did ML struggle this entire time against him ? x)
Anyway, it doesn't spoil this as like I said, I'm just nitpicking.
I'm a bit worried but I don't think she fell for it. Before going she said to the bodyguard it will be a act. Then she only drop the knife when she saw all the bow aiming at her. I hope it was just a tactical retreat.
honestly the whole "murder" thing sounds dodgy af like a trap that KSH, GM, LJH and his cartel gang laid for GS…
It's the smart thing to do if you are in a scandale. Staying quiet until everything settle down. Innocent or guilty. Because the more you try to defend yourself when the scandal is still "hot" the more guilty you appear even if you are 100% innocent. Everything you will say will be twisted and that could lead to more if they try to also correct it. It's how public opinion & media work.
That being said, I think he is guilty for the underage stuff & leaving her quite hopeless afterward. So it could have been better if he did the mistake to be overly defensive. Too be bad he is smart or his entourage is. And sadly the girl's entourage just was so toxic she decided to make that decision. I blame him but all of her relative are also partly to blame I think. Everyone suck to be honest and now that the girl is dead, all those monsters strike at each others.
SIGMA DISRESPECTFULLY, F#CK OFF!!!!Akin deserves a big hug. He's been going through wayyyy too much:(
Yeah I don't get it. Why the old man is so petty. Did he just do all of that because Akin refused to sign with his agency ? Like, he already have the current "Top Star" (aka. Jin) & he knows that Akin is his lover. A smart guy - who seems to own a very successful business - wouldn't create such a messy situation over petty feeling, right ?
Well, I don't think two more episodes of this loop would be better tbh. :PSure they could give us a bit of their…
Well when you see "Something's Not Right" that have a similar pattern, more episode doesn't mean more development. For me, this one is "better" just because he was shorter. :P
I watched some really short KBL recently ("Match Play", "Love in the Apocalypse" & "Romeo and Romeo and Juliet") and while they aren't masterpiece - mostly because of the vertical format & 3min episode - they focus on what's matter.
I enjoyed them more than this one for sure at least. :)
KBL's have been a bit disappointing this year, I was happy to expect 3 airing so closely together but they've…
Agree. You probably talk about this one, "Heesu in Class 2" & "Something's Not Right", right ?
All of 3 have been a bit frustrating with their main leads running in circle about the same problem until the final episode. And when they finally get together, it's already the end. :P
I don't have too much to say tbh. The Main Leads have a lot of chemistry but the story is an infinite loop that…

Sure they could give us a bit of their time when they are happy and together but most KBL doesn't do that unfortunately. They love their angst and the final episode being the moment they finally accept each others.
I'm not a huge fan of misunderstanding in the first place but it could have been good if they didn't drag the whole thing this much. If their whole plot & idea were this much, two episodes would have been fine. Four is they wanted to extend on the side characters a bit.
But 8 of the same misunderstanding is just WAAAY too much.
Or at least used their own idea. Like the "Be my boyfriend for a week" thing. It didn't change their dynamic one bit. It reminded me of another recent KBL that I forgotten the name (ML liked his teacher but tried to date is best friend for a limited period of time to move on). Like it could have fleshed out a bit the plot instead of the same issue again, again & AGAIN. :P

And if I would take a guess at to why: his consort's death. Probably Grandpa did something or Shark guy believe he did.
