Ngl, the starting plot make me feel a bit uncomfortable. Probably a acting issue but I don't see a "grampa" in the young actor. Too childlike ? But anyway, the romance bit will be... weird ? Like the dude is 69-year old. But again, he will probably act like he is 10. But what the point if they wanted a childish characters ? Another thing that is quite uncanny is that he just lost his grandson. He also "died" & burned his own body. But he seems completely unfazed. Even the other dude, two people died right after he ditched the grandson. But he is still the same grumpy character like nothing happened. It really lack some emotional scene to make the initial plot believable.

Anyway, still watching but I will lower my expectation for the writing.

I hope so. I don't really like love triangle - and I'm already annoyed by the FL/ML/SML one, I really hope they don't add another. Tbh, I was hoping for her to be "I don't want to rely on a man" kind of story so her falling in love this easily (and quite superficially) is quite a bummer.

The big villain will probably be "The Screenwriter". Not that the Emperor is very likeable but every characters are just made up by the story itself. I really hope most characters will break the 4th wall at some point.

He will probably happen when he will switch mask for the Bunny one. Need to not cover his mouth for it to happen! It was also probably FL plan all along when she made this mask! :P

One of the best from 2025. Everything was almost perfect.

The only thing that bothered me a bit was with Mi-Rae & Sejin as I couldn't tell if they wanted them to be platonic or not. I mean, it's the ambiguity that bothered me. Sejin flirted a bit, Mi-Rae was almost always unresponsive & the final smile didn't make me feel a romantic vibe between them.

I guess having the same actress having two ML & relationship (even if she played two different character) could have been the issue here ? I don't know.

Anyway, I still loved them as characters, especially Sejin. :)

God. That sexual harassment situation got so much worse. Like imagine seeing your dad that you miss so much on someone and he freaking assault you/take advantage of you. He even have a daughter with the same name!

The coffee scene also throw me off so much. He was so nice & seeing Mi Ji tearing made me believe for 1s that maybe it was a misunderstanding of some sort but I cannot believe Mi-Rae would made an official complaint if it was the case. No wonder she breakdown so hard, it's so mess up! >.<

Good for him! I think it did help him that it doesn't stick to one partner & play in all kind of different role. Thai BL actors with a fixed partner kind of sell the illusion of being a couple. The whole marketing is all about that & literally feed those toxic fan behavior. It's why I cannot really blame all of it on those fan as this shipping marketing is one of the biggest reason it did get so much worst.

I like how HRY & BJS are more like Pro Actor than Old Deity at this point. :P

Sure they wield huge power but every time they fight, it always involve some sort of acting. And me with my little brain is always fooled by them. :D

I don't know. He seems too... straightforward to be the mastermind. Like he never hided that he hate HRY.

But to be honest, I really don't see who exactly could be the mastermind. And why. Obviously it's someone who want to destroy the Infinity Stele. Zhang Suan seems to have obtained that power (as he destroyed effortlessly the others one). Fan Linger have matching amulet with him. So it also link the whole plot with her father. TBH, I really cannot read the father action so far. But in another hand, he really don't give the vibe of the ultimate villain either. So yeah, I'm truly lost here. :P

The ending was good but it's just the last scene that was completely weird. While it was sad, it was also very beautiful. But then, they made the worst time skip ever. Don't get me wrong, it isn't bad like it's nonsense and ruin the whole drama, it's just a huge missed opportunity that just deflated a really beautiful previous scene.

Overall, I still really liked this short drama so if peoples hesitate to watch this because of the ending, don't. It's really just the last 5s of this drama.

So... Who think the "sister" didn't exist ? And it was FL all along that is now with a trauma that made her create Xin Yi persona (or her sister) to protect herself ?

Also something really don't add up with her sister's persecutor. They try very hard to make us believe that it was ML but apart from the fact that I cannot really see a ML being this trashy toward a little girl, shouldn't he also be very young when everything happened as they don't seems to have a huge age gap ?

I cannot grasp yet what are those "memories" of him we keep seeing but if I would take a really wild guess is that ML isn't actually the eldest son. At some point a flashback of a woman (the late wife I think ?) saying something about a fake - make me believe that it's his own trauma. And FL replaced him when he took the place of the Eldest son ? Idk.

Anyway, it's a good start so far but I'm a sucker for revenge plot. :P

She said it multiple time, she doesn't want to be involved in the drama that it will unfold, like the crazy SFL that tried to burned to death the past FL. Past FL seems to had a LOT of misfortune even during her dating era with the Prince.

And she did like another character apparently, the SML.

My guess is that it's maybe aired prime time on a major broadcast TV channel. They censured themselves to avoid any unwanted controversy as this subject probably wouldn't be expected in this drama to begin with. It's just a bit sad honestly.

I wish I could see it like that. And I really wish it was their intention. But my guess is that it's still taboo to talk about this subject openly. Like they did a very good montage to explain want happened & what's truly going on but the fact it's that they made extra step to purposely avoid saying he was gay or liked men. And it can be interpreted as being gay is still shameful and shouldn't be said out loud.

Anyway, it's minor and doesn't really impact this very good drama. I was just a bit saddened that in 2025 S. Korea seems to still struggle with this topic.

It's really good. Like REALLY good.

But... I'm a little disappointed at how they handled Mi-Ji ex-boyfriend reveal. Like I know S. Korea still struggling with this topic but the way they did everything to not say directly that he was gay is a bit sad. Well, I guess they still included the topic - in a somewhat positive light - even if it wasn't mandatory is still something I guess.

She isn't that bad. She didn't pull any backhanded trick so far. A bit passive-aggressive toward Mi-Rae maybe ? But it's mostly because of her inferiority complex. She is an interesting character and not the stereotype evil SFL without much background just to show off how ML is "faithful" toward FL (even if she also does have that purpose here).

Funny & entertaining. I usually don't like harem. It's more a anime thing normally as I never saw it in a live action personally but the "romance" stuff wasn't really the focus so it didn't bother me like it usually does.

Anyway, the MC is really great & the pacing don't let you get bored one minute. Recommended.
