The problem for me isn't that it's a different actress, I was actually excited to see the original Naksu but it's like a different character. What I loved about Naksu is her determination, fire, her crazy ways, how smart and manipulative she was. Now it's just a damsel waiting for her knight in shining armor. I know the reason she's that way, amnesia..blabla. but watching a wallflower is not entertaining and not what I signed up for, there are so many stories like that out there, what set this one apart was her exceptional personality.
I wanted to love it, the promise is good but there is too much unnecessary drama for a 4 ep serie. It could've been heart warming and sad or light depending on the direction and it would've been perfect. They didn't need to rely on tropes, was the obsessed journalist, the jealous ex bff, toxic mother really necessary ? I have enough of those on a regular show and the reason I was so happy with 4 episodes was that I wouldn't have to be subjected to that, but oh well...
hi... this is my first time stopping by this comment section and well im kinda shocked with these recent comments…
Depends on your taste, it swings between comedy, romance, law and melodrama, the pourcentage of each, change from one episode to the next which could give you a little whiplash. there was 4 bad episodes but it picked up again.
The level of disappointment I feel about the last 4-6 episode is ridiculous. It went from touching slice of life…
Exactly! That's not what I signed up for. I think it's an effort to get a higher rating, they always do that with the SOL genre when it doesn't perform well, like makjang is the success recipe. Don't they get that makjang fans would get bored watching this, and they risk loosing their niche audience ?
A mature story about how we take things and people for granted when we get used to them and how some misunderstandings can compound and become monsters. I also loved her scenes with her mom, it was the best part for me.
Wow ep 13 isn't what I'd expected. It's getting heavy and dark but at the same time more interesting. For those…
I think it's more about expectations and deviating from the promise of the show, it started out as a slice of life about natural death and how to deal with it and it turned into a mafia melodrama.
The most frustrating character is not even The Guy..Its those selfish police. Especially detective oh....
That's my main problem, I can excuse a lot of plot holes (and this show had a lot) but my main problem is that I kept waiting for detective Oh' s character development and it never came. The reason I love an anti-hero is that he has more room to grow but he stayed the same, actually he got worst.
I'm just at ep 10 I'm not a fan of the direction choices. While the story is good, the direction and focus in some scenes gives aways most of the twists.
So the real father of buyeon is the same choi brother na whose jealousy made him doubt his own daughter
Imagine believing the word of a mustache twirling vilain who you know is a liar and manipulator without even checking. If they have blood suking worms they must have something for that as well, but again we're talking about people who believe that DNA is passed down through the soul so...
I am not as interested in Jang Gang as you are. To me he is just a mess creator. He died after finishing his unfinished…
Exactly, a character not being important doesn't give them free rein to drop hints and then discarding them as they wish. At this point I feel like they're taking the "LOST" approach where they created questions just to appear mysterious without any attention of ever giving an answer.
I usually watch a new episode after around 10-12 hours from its airing time so i usually go through this page…
Let's not forget mama jin with her "I must've misheard her" is she incapable of putting 2 and 2 together ? I'm not even going to touch on how dumb they're making naksu at the moment, it started with Buyeon but now it's spreading to other areas. I cringed so hard when they repeated the same phrase in the same scene and then the camera focused on the CP, so that we dumb audience would get it Plus point for them having flashback at the start of the episode and revealing again that Mudoek is Buyeon in case we senile audience would've forgotten about it.
If Jin Bu-Yeon'll die in this episode do you guys think it will be a disservice to her character? We barely get…
That's the main thing that's bothering me about JSM's departure, I prepared myself for the FL switch but I didn't think:
1. That Mudoek would've that much potentiel. She's a freaking mix up b/w the Jin and Choi family, the most powerful priestess! 2. That they would focus on her story so much since she was just a host 3. That said potentiel wouldn't be explored and she would've a rushed ending, and remain unexplored.
I think they should've casted a newbie, then making her SL wouldn't be a problem.
