Not a real love triangle , it's more of a set up for the plot so it's not really bothersome. A lot of romance…
It was cut b/c it was judged too steamy for chinese standards. It wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't a pivotal moment for the leads as she discovers something they've been leading up to the whole show. And then to add insult to injury, they've a brief flashback of it as if it was aired and we forgot about it.

I don't get it either, I can get past censorship to some degree, but to get to the point of butchering important scenes so much so that viewers are left wondering if they missed an episode is pushing it. It was so jarring in ep 19, I couldn't believe they dared doing it, in 2023 no less.
With that said it's still a good show, that's precisely why I'm mad, if it wasn't so good I wouldn't have cared.

How is it so far? Much romance? Any love triangles?
Not a real love triangle , it's more of a set up for the plot so it's not really bothersome. A lot of romance but censorship is kinda ruining the romantic scenes. (I'm still mad about that bath scene)
On the plus side, both leads are smart for once.

How could they cut so much important scenes and then air it in a memory flash like it was nothing. I actually had to go back to see if I missed something, such a good show ruined with bad editing, the worst is knowing the scenes were written and shot but just cut for whatever reason.
I truly feel bad for the team that put so much efforts, for to be ruined by post-production.

Thank u. For a 10 ep season, they're taking their sweet time. And let me guess, it's either the bad guys or no one is thinking about telling the concerned panties.

I watched the first two episodes and am not enjoying it much. I esp didn't like their explanation of how the face…
Yeah they love telling us about their powers but come up with every contrived reason possible to deprive them of it. It was bearable in season 1 b/c we had hope things would change eventually and at least she was smart, now we have 6 episodes left and she's so naïve, even seo yul's oncle was going to make fun of her, she gets willingly mistreated by her mother b/c she doesn't want to hurt her feelings.... who is this person?
The problem for me isn't that it's a different actress, I was actually excited to see the original Naksu but it's like a different character. What I loved about Naksu is her determination, fire, her crazy ways, how smart and manipulative she was. Now it's just a damsel waiting for her knight in shining armor.
I know the reason she's that way, amnesia..blabla. but watching a wallflower is not entertaining and not what I signed up for, there are so many stories like that out there, what set this one apart was her exceptional personality.

I wanted to love it, the promise is good but there is too much unnecessary drama for a 4 ep serie. It could've been heart warming and sad or light depending on the direction and it would've been perfect. They didn't need to rely on tropes, was the obsessed journalist, the jealous ex bff, toxic mother really necessary ? I have enough of those on a regular show and the reason I was so happy with 4 episodes was that I wouldn't have to be subjected to that, but oh well...

Title The Law Cafe
hi... this is my first time stopping by this comment section and well im kinda shocked with these recent comments…
Depends on your taste, it swings between comedy, romance, law and melodrama, the pourcentage of each, change from one episode to the next which could give you a little whiplash. there was 4 bad episodes but it picked up again.

The level of disappointment I feel about the last 4-6 episode is ridiculous. It went from touching slice of life…
Exactly! That's not what I signed up for. I think it's an effort to get a higher rating, they always do that with the SOL genre when it doesn't perform well, like makjang is the success recipe. Don't they get that makjang fans would get bored watching this, and they risk loosing their niche audience ?

A mature story about how we take things and people for granted when we get used to them and how some misunderstandings can compound and become monsters. I also loved her scenes with her mom, it was the best part for me.

Wow ep 13 isn't what I'd expected. It's getting heavy and dark but at the same time more interesting. For those…
I think it's more about expectations and deviating from the promise of the show, it started out as a slice of life about natural death and how to deal with it and it turned into a mafia melodrama.

The most frustrating character is not even The Guy..Its those selfish police. Especially detective oh....
That's my main problem, I can excuse a lot of plot holes (and this show had a lot) but my main problem is that I kept waiting for detective Oh' s character development and it never came. The reason I love an anti-hero is that he has more room to grow but he stayed the same, actually he got worst.
