I'm at the start of ep 6, but while I like it, I'm not really into it. Is it going to get better or is it just not for me?

The grandfather got what he deserved, the man was going to send his GF to jail!! And even asked his children to go, what kind of father does that?

He was still ok with sending that supposedly great love to jail unstead of him. They couldn't find a more deserving target

I was so proud of myself for making it through the episode without crying, and then the epilogue happened

The problem with this show is that I can't stand anyone besides the leads

So let me get this straight, she saved them from executing an innocent man and going to war, it was proven that she told the truth and they were the manipulated idiots, she purified the phenix thing.
And to thank her for her trouble, she must be punished, her home destroyed, immortal spirit sealed and live like a prisoner without a chance at cultivation b/c... she "might" hide devil??? b/c Mr "I lied about the cause of war" peacock said so???
And the ML thought he must execute it for the sake of fairness and not to be partial? How is what he did fair? He let her be bullied right in front ofbhim, he even helped them. I don't care about his plan, he didn't need one since she was clearly the victim. all he needed was to be a good judge not some convoluted plan leaving his love with nothing, to the point of accepting death. With a lover like him who needs enemies

He's so dumb for falling for this even after she stole his wapen

Don't they realize that you either write a well fleshed out villain or if it's a cartoon villain, don't give him/her too much screentime

Good to know, this is just the 1st arc, spending half the show on it doesn't seem to be wise.

I used to love peacocks so much before this show.....

At ep 14: how long until she gets killed or becomes the phenix queen. It's dragging a little bit, I need the story to move along.

At ep 10, it's better than I expected, the story is engaging and the leads grew on me.

At ep 3, the story is actually more interesting than I thought it would be, and they're cute

I'm on ep 2, it's a little bit better, he's less annoying

The ML managed to already get on my nerve in the 1st episode, that's a record. I love Lusi but I'm not feeling this ML, he's neither charismatic nor cute. Does it change? Does he make any other dumb decisions?

I dropped this b/c the show didn't seem to think there was a problem with his attitude or the toxicity of their relationship which means it couldn't get better

This was wrong on so many levels, I'm disgusted

Yeah, I don't expect depth from a makjang but I'm shocked at how offensive to adopted children this drama is.
