It started good, dragged a lot in middle but eventually tied the plot well at the end but however it has to be…
I agree, I had the same problem with AOS, but there at least, she kept her character for a season even if she didn't have her power. The second season sucked though.
I feel like I got baited with Mu Qin Ge just to end up with the classic naive powerless version of the FL for all the rest of the show, waiting for a return that never really came.
What I liked the most about this show is how flashed out everyone was, even the villain had his reasons. And I loved that the leads drove the story for the most part, the story didn’t even eeally need a villain, the difference in ideology was more than enough to make it interesting.
That was brilliant. I thought she just lost her memory, but girl was actually playing? And didn’t just infiltrate a sect but got herself one? They're so dysfunctional, Im all in.
Don't believe the rating. I've to admit It was hard getting into the show at first, b/c they started with the drama and mélancolie right off the bat and it's hard to care about characters you don't know. I think they should've started a little lighter, to give the viewer the time to ajust to the big cast. But once you ajust, it's so good. The last 15 episodes were great.
I was scared for a moment that they would try to redeem the mother or go the forgiveness route. If your daughter calls you scared and crying her eyes out asking for your help and you don't go, there's no redemption for you.
Also fenghua should write a book on the worst way possible to tell your mother that you have cancer 😑
