At ep 9: Her father stays a desappointement, I hope they don't try to redeem him b/c he was perfectly OK watching an orphan being abused all those years. He has no right to have regrets when it turns out she's hus biological daughter.
It's picking up, and I'm loving it. It has a mixte of comedy, romance and mystery hope it can keep up the quality. With that said, I'm really tired of them inserting a cheobol story in every genre thinking we may get bored without it, when will they realize we're watching despite of it not because of it.
I'm so glad the rating is getting higher post finale b/c it deserves it, everything but the direction is perfect. And the ending stayed true to the characters which is more important than just a happy ending, most shows take liberties with the characters to the point of them being unrecognizeble thinking it's okay since it's a happy ending, but not this show. Truly amazing
Lol shu yi is a workaholic with no game, girl you don't talk about work while apologizing! In a message no less, which was your 1st mistake. But I have to admit I find it amusing that he is more mad that she's not groveling enough and actually respected his decision not to see her again. The guy just wanted to be chased, not even that, had she just showed up to his house, he would melt, but no! Miss no game decided that now is a good time to respect boundaries. Why are they like this! Even their break up isn't normal! I'm not even going to talk about miss bad advice.
For once I'm not that bothered by a love triangle, it actually makes sense that she has feelings for the only guy that she thinks cared for her in her previous life and even sacrificed his integrity for her; she'll naturally realize that they don't match. It's actually so well written that I don't mind. Plus XW jealous outbursts will never fail to make me laugh.
I think that the FL portrayed how being abused, used, and threatened continuously has a extremely negative emotional,…
Maybe you're right, I haven't thought of that, I was just so glad to have a FL with functioning brain cells for once, I didn't want it to change no matter the giving reason
At ep 15: the 1st part was a masterpiece. But I'm not sure about this one, I'm okay with the slave thing and all, I'm even okay with that damn pricesse third wheel, but I hate how the dumped down the FL, she used to be resourceful but now she's reduced to getting played by a maid, standing still while someone is coming at her on a horse clearly intending to kill her, not figuring out that someone is faking...ect. It's just half the season so it could get better, I hope it does.
Did the cast say why they accepted the roles? Let's put aside that the story has no plot, I made my peace with that. but no plot usually means more fluff, and there isn't even that! The protagonists barely interact and when they do, they either eat in silence, or are interrupted by that damn phone or a third person or it's about business. So I'm left with a show with no plot and no romance. They do have chemistry when they let them interact long enough, which happens every 3 episodes. I definitely should've waited for it to finish before starting it, it would've been less frustrating. And now they'll surely squeeze in a break up while they were barely together to begin with, maybe then they'll interact more.
Kudos to them for making me interested in the political aspect of the show, I can't remember the last time I didn't skip it besides "one and only" and "scarlet heart ryeo"
It's so good, it's the 1st time I love both protagonists equally and I don't mind the SML. XW 's scenes with his uncle are so touching, and I'm enjoying the sisters interaction
Why are they like this! Even their break up isn't normal! I'm not even going to talk about miss bad advice.
