For me the intimacy was the best part of the book, and some funny parts. After that was gone I kinda lost interest.

The first half has some intimate scenes, second half hardly any.

I think when they went on the competition, that part was dragging, the competition part was just too long and from there it went downhill.

So I finished the book, I really liked the first half of the book, second half kind of went downhill, but that’s just my personal opinion. Others may disagree.

I’m almost done with the novel, have about 30 or so chapters to go. I think it’s good, has some funny parts. I did kinda glazed over the tournament scenes. That part was just too long. Hopefully, the drama won’t make the tournament half the drama. I’m pretty sure they will change lots of things in the drama.

Everyone has different taste, you may or may not like it. For me personally this is one of my favorites. There’s not a lot of romance as the title suggest, but to me the leads have great chemistry. Give it a try, if it’s not your cup of tea, you can always drop it.

I thought I was the only one who thought the fighting scenes were a bit comical. Like they weren’t fighting for real. Glad I’m not the only one.

Uncle Wen is my favorite character in this drama. He is hilarious. 😆 🤣😂

Agree the romance feels flat IMO. The actress is ok, but I don’t see her as a bad ass Princess. She is pretty though.

Actually I heard EXO and Gdragon before BTS. I heard V ‘s voice before I even saw him, I said let me look up this guy, his voice attracted me, it was in 2016. He is still my favorite then Jin/Jungkook. My friend was trying to get me into EXO and Big Bang at the time. I do like Taeyang from Big bang on his solos.

I did not watch a lot of fantasy, couldn’t get into it, I just watched a handful. The one with Neo Hou, and fox spirit matchmaker, and Strarry Love are a few I’ve watched. Same with modern dramas. I probably watched a hand full because of the actor I like.

My sister’s friend loves Bin Bin. I did like him in king’s woman. That was a good drama.

The drama with Caesar Wu is the General’s lady. I thought that drama was ok, but I
loved him in Heart of Loyalty.

Wuxia are the martial arts with some magic elements or no magic. Xianxia are the ones with magic powers, deities, and white hair men. I mainly watch historical with little or no magic.
