Agree. Li Qin makes a plausible female general. Her fighting scenes are usually solid no matter the drama.
That is true, I don’t remember fighting scenes in Seven Nights of Snow. Though, I loved both MCs, I was disappointed. I had high expectations too.

Li Qin is awesome in her fighting scenes, this is what I expected a female general to look like. I watched two other dramas with female generals recently, though the dramas are good, the fight scenes and choreography lack something IMO. I’m enjoying this drama so far! Kudos to the production team and filmography because this drama is beautiful!

I can’t take him seriously no matter what after seeing him in A Female Student Arrives at the Imperial College. He was so goofy and hilarious. His facial expressions cracks me up. I can’t take him seriously in non comical dramas. 🤣😂😆

I agree, it was too long and boring.
Once they stop being intimate the story went down hill. The chapters about their kids dragged on forever. When they got to that city for pre tournament it was so long and the tournament was also dragging. The plot got boring after a while.

I agree with you, second half was boring and uneventful. It dragged on and on. Once the intimacy and romance died down, I lost interest. The tournament was too long and never ending. I did finish the book because I wanted to know how it ended. The ending itself kept dragging on too.
