I read the book, I heard they changed a lot of drama from the book. To me the first half was interesting and had some funny parts, after the tournament and when they stopped being intimate it kinda got boring, it got draggy and longer than it needed to be IMO. But you should read it, you might have a different opinion than me.

In the book, he’s kinda a womanizer, but most of the time he lets his guard get with the women. I think s** takes a lot of energy/power from him. It does mention he gets with the women, but after a month or so he gets rid of them, by giving them gifts or money. That’s what I read anyway. That part was a little confusing to me. I will have to go back and reread the book, the first half anyway. Second half was just long and boring to me. BTW, after meeting Mingyi he doesn’t get with anyone else.

I really can’t wait, looks more interesting than the book itself.

That is really true, I’m glad they are changing LITC. The Second half was a snooze to me, first half was way better.

I started reading the book, but then stopped because I knew they were going to change it. I might just go back and read it. I want to see the difference.

Snowy night was ok, just lack of chemistry, etc. Also, fighting scenes in the trailer looked awesome, but in the drama, it was kind of mediocre in my opinion.

I liked him since Cambrian Period and When we were young, I really was invested when I watched a girl like me in 2021, I was gaga over him, but I didn’t like his hair style in FOF. I don’t usually watch Xian xia or modern. I only watch historical and wuxia, only watch modern and xian xia for certain actors. I actually have the lots of GIF. I downloaded it from tic tok and Xiaohongshu.

As for the book, I don’t actually read all the ones coming up, just only a few like General and I and a few others. I even have the hard copy of general and I, which is a different name and A girl like me. It’s in Chinese though, I cannot read it, but I am just collecting it. So I just read it in English translation. I have yet to finish reading A Girl Like me. I tried to read Romance on the farm, but it’s just too long and Seven Nights of snow. For some reason I can’t get into it.

I just like to compare between the book and the drama. Not all dramas, sometimes I read it after the drama comes out just to read the differences.

I haven’t figured how to do the gif, but this is my favorite picture of him. 💜 He is my absolute favorite C-drama actor. I read the book and he looks exactly how Bo Zai would look, but I hope the drama is better than the book. I liked the book until the intimacy between the two were gone.

I think it’s a push and pull relationship, they are using each other to achieve their goals. He uses her to do his dirty work. He falls in love with her eventually, but I don’t know when she falls in love with him because she doesn’t think he’s serious about her. He’s very insatiable, when he meets her, he doesn’t want anyone else. For her I don’t get the impression of her really into him, she just wants to get the cure from him, but she maybe had some sort of feelings for him, because she is butt hurt he married someone else to get the army.
