Me too, I guess I have to wait till after work tomorrow/tonight. 😭

I don’t have problems with the subtitles on the phone, but I was talking about the IQIYI TV app, the subtitles are really small and hard to read because the letters are in white . The problem I have with mirroring/casting from my phone is after one episode, it starts to act funny, then I’d have to reboot my phone, etc. It’s just a pain, so I just watch it on my phone if I don’t see it on YouTube or Viki.

I have VIP membership for both Youku and Iqiyi and others on YouTube and membership for the app itself . But for sure Iqiyi is slow to upload on YouTube. I forget which one, but they release like one episode after a while until the end of the drama.

Viki app you can download it on the TV, if you have a smartTV, IQIYI also, but the subtitles for The IQIYI app are small and hard to read on the tv because there’s no black box or shadows for the letters. I have trouble mirroring the IQIYI, WeTV and Youku to my TV, that’s why I prefer to watch YouTube or Viki on my TV, but they don’t always have the dramas I want to watch. I miss dramacool so much.

Yay!!! Because YouTube is slow to update if they even upload it on YouTube and I can’t mirror the Youku app on my TV for some reason.

Some scenes near his nose looked kinda cakey, not to be a critic, but you notice it close up.

Rebel Princess is a different drama than princess agent, I was just saying the ages of the actresses were too old to play their teenage selves. Sure, I would like to know why you didn’t finish SOKP.

I tried watching Story of kunning palace like 4 times, I couldn’t get into it, maybe because of how close the shots were, too close up for me. Also, I think they should use a younger actress for Bai Lu’s character in her younger scenes, she felt and looked to old for a teenager. I will attempt again one of these days. Same thing with Rebel Princess, Zhang Ziyi was too old to play her teenager years. I couldn’t even finish it half way through. That’s just me tbh.

I think you are right about CZY’s makeup, something about his makeup is off, he looked better in Sword and Fairy and his other dramas. Maybe they pilled on too much makeup on him.

This is just my opinion, I know everyone thinks Chen Zhe Yuan is hot, but man Chen He Yi is gorgeous. He was good looking in The Perfect Match, but man him with hair up-half down hairstyle is top notch. Props to the stylist. That man is insanely beautiful. 😍 And the King of Jinxiu, I’ve seen him in other dramas, but such a cutie here.

Dramacool shut down like a year or so ago, kisskh, I’m not sure because it’s my least favorite place to watch. It’s on YouTube, but they take forever to post new episodes. Try dailymotion, I’ve seen some episodes there. I watch IQIYI, because I have a subscription, but have to watch on my phone because the mirroring option is flakey.

I totally agree with you, but drama was ok to me, it was good, but not quite convincing as female general. Zhou Ye, didn’t have much impact in her fights, and Song Yi, I don’t remember much of her fighting scenes, there wasn’t a whole lot.
