Watch A Girl Like Me. That’s where I first saw him! 😍
I first saw him in Cambrian Period, but he had such a baby face, then When We Were Young, cute , but still looked like a boy. Then when I saw him in A Girl Like me, man he changed so much and was gorgeous. I started paying attention to him more after that drama.
Can anyone who has read the book or the novel explain why her mother who is the empress feels that she has to…
Because in the book JBZ is the real crown prince (Ming Xian) JBZ was abandoned and was taken to the slave camp because he didn’t have the blue or red vein, I can’t remember which color, when he was born, later the vein showed up when he got older. She found a long distant relative whose wife just gave birth to Ming Yi at the same time or close and she had that vein. That’s why she had to grow up as a boy. I don’t think in the book she had a veil, I can’t remember that part, but I remember she grew up as a boy.
naurr, it’s another girl but she’s really cute too I believe she doesn’t exist in the drama plot though,…
In the novel the girl he gets with is Xu Tianji, she’s an official’s daughter not a princess and in the drama is Gong Zhu, but in the book there’s a Jùnzhǔ who married JBZ. And the Princess in the book comes in towards the ending of the book. Yan Xiao and Xu Tianji ends up together I believe. I can’t remember, read it a while back.
In the book they are related, he’s the real prince, but not sure if they are sticking with the story line since…
It was Like You mentioned he was abandoned, because he didn’t have the blue vein which later shows up (don’t quote me on this because I read it a year ago) the empress found one long distant family member who’s child was born at the same time as JBZ who was Ming Yi, so she grew up as a boy. In the book I didn’t really remember if there was this much magic involved. So I don’t remember the veil she used to be a male like in the drama.
jussssst a random theory but i feel JBZ’s origin isn’t that simple and i think his master was actually hiding…
In the book they are related, he’s the real prince, but not sure if they are sticking with the story line since a lot has already changed from the book.
it's not there in the novel..the ending is not so good in novel...but I got to know that, if the some couple writes…
I think their flirty banters made the book interesting, here’s a little excerpt from the book, I thought was funny , “I’m not,” Ming Yi’s eyes darted around. “This slave is… menstruating. It’s not convenient to serve my Lord.”
He made a sound of acknowledgment and calmly asked, “Does menstruation come from the mouth?”
The last scene in Ep6 got me surprised, though it felt like there was more into Situ Ling's character. I also…
In the novel he has a thing for MY, but he’s very young (14 - 15 or around that age) and helps her out and sort of rivals with JBZ. Not sure how he will turn out in the drama since there has been lots of changes. I think someone posted some of the differences in the drama/novel.
Here you go
