Since, I've caught up to episode 9, I will give my take on it so far. There is a lot of comment regarding chemistry and if you're reading this and hesitating because of of some of the comments, my suggestion is to give it a fair shot and judge for yourselves. I find that ratings and comments are not an good indicator to liking or not liking a series because we all have different things we are looking for in a series. The only harsh criticism I would agree with that I've read is that the title is a little misleading. At least so far to episode 9, it hasn't been all that "dangerous" xD

So that note aside, my opinion is that this is worth watching if you have time for it because there is a lot they do well. Characterization and growth of the characters are good. How they handle the love triangle and communication is good. It doesn't get dragged out and the characters face things honestly. Honesty is also another thing I like about this series. The characters have some open and honest exchanges, some of those moments are small but it's refreshing to see. In other series sometimes, characters lie about the smallest stuff to avoid embarrassment but there wasn't anything like that so far to me that I can remember. I like some of cute small moments. I like the supportive friend group. I like the story we are exploring between Kang and his dad. So there is some substance to this and not just a fluffy story. There is a lot I can praise but I don't want to get too spoiler-y. I am genuinely enjoying this series. I thought I wouldn't because some of the comments here, but as I've mentioned, we just all have different things we're looking at and looking for.

If you mostly care about the kissing aspect of the romance, then maybe this series will just be ok at best for you. However, in every other aspect, I think the chemistry is there and the acting is good. Didn't feel bored or feel like anything was too draggy so didn't have to skip anything. I also definitely don't disagree with all the praises that Perth gets in the comments, but Chimon isn't to be overlooked either. I am enjoying him in this series. I haven't paid much attention to his other roles, but because of this series, he's on my radar now. Yeah, so far, no regrets. Looking forward to the next couple of episodes

So what about this whole "escort" thing?! I am waiting to binge-watch this, so I want to ask if Sailom has to…
Yes, so he does accept an escort job but he's only been one date with an older man. No sex involved nor did he put himself in any kind of situation that would lead to that. Once you start watching, you'll find Sailom is not that kind of guy that will do anything and knows his limits. =)

Hello comment scroller who may be looking for a reason to either start or drop this series. Don't let the premise/synopsis or the tone that the first episode sets fool you. This series has a lot of depth/layers, sincerity, and impactful moments. Very much worth giving a chance. It's not just a fluffy high school love story. A lot of great dialogue/conversations between characters with many meaning moments and lessons.

I didn't realize Red Di's bandmate is 曹楊 Young . Heard some of his songs/OSTs before, but I guess I didn't watch enough MVs to recognize him. But I hope we get to see him more. =)

This one is a pretty chill and down to earth story. No villains or evil characters, no outlandish plot, no crazy drama. When the only issue is that one character isn't good at communicating his feelings and so that lead to misunderstanding, I call that a win. This was a nice watch and I recommend it. Some might find it boring cause it's just a simple college story and not really anything new, but it's a nice change of pace from some of the crazy things in other BLs. I saw some commented about acting and chemistry, but I thought it was okay. I mean, they are pretty newish and young so I think it's not bad and I did feel the chemistry so idk. And I find Nuea cute. And all the leads and supports have likeable personalities.

is this drama focking kidding me. Did she just got hit by her coach? Wtf is wrong with this drama. Why the fuck…
I wouldn't approach this with a western mindset. In quite a few asian countries, corporal punishment isn't an outrageous idea. I can only speak for Vietnam, China, and Korea though. It's not really like something you can sue for cause teachers are like your parents. And if you're attending school, you're pretty much accepting and agreeing to that term and condition. It's less likely and becoming less normal nowadays as society is slowly adopting the same idea as the west but yeah. It's a cultural thing and the idea of what's normal changes with it.

I wouldn't recommend paying for it. I saw up to episode 8 subbed elsewhere and was impatient so I paid for membership.…
For me, the grammar and translation is rough and choppy. It enough to where you can kind of know what they're talking about but you have to think about it. But sometimes, it can be confusing or doesn't even make sense. You have to decipher what they actually trying to say. For example, if you compare like episode 5 to the english translation to the ones on Fresh Drama, you can see the difference in translation. It's enough where you can get by, but if you're like me and want to understand the details of the dialogue, it's better to just wait for for a better final version from Fresh Drama or elsewhere.

Example from episode 5 at 8:45min

Sub from Idol & Romance
Mi Ya : later ah do not do their own ice cream, this ice cream by hand with us in Austria last taste like. If you eat like me to send you the boss every day.

Same line in Fresh drama:
Mi Ya: Don't make your own ice cream in the future. The handmade ice cream in this house is the same as our last time. It tastes very similar in Austria. If you like it, I will send it to you everyday.

(I just randomly picked a spot to compare to show you what I mean and ended up one of the easier parts to understand. There are some parts where like I don't even know, haha)

Title Make My Heart Smile Spoiler
Very cute and fluffy. If you like going into a drama knowing what to expect, click below for spoilers.
- Basically, the main plot: The female lead character is Ye Wei Mian and she's a fashion student. However, due to an accident, her twin sister (Ye Zheng Han) is in a coma. In order to protect her twin's dream and academic accomplishment, Ye Wei Mian pretends to be Ye Zheng Han ( a finance student). At this time, the only person to know this is Lu Yao, Wei Mian's best friend and also a fashion student. However, while working a part-time job, she breaks an expensive gift that Gu Yan Luo (the male lead character) was going to give for his mom's birthday. This ultimately leads to Wei Main pretending to be his girlfriend...and later on, moving in with him. And from there, things get a little complicated.

- Are there love triangles? Kind of, but also not really. There are people who likes our leads, but ultimately, they're just one-sided. Our leads don't even entertain the idea. First, we meet Yan Jiu Yue, an engineering student. He's in love with Ye Zheng Han...who Wei Mian is pretending to be. However, he figures it out quick that "Ye Zheng Han" is not really Ye Zheng Han. However, he helps her keep it a secret. He has no romantic interest in Wei Mian. Oh, and then there's Xia Yuan Qing, who very much like our male lead, but she's very irrelevant in his eyes. We are also introduced to Zuo Si Chen later on. He's a childhood friend of Wei Mian and he's is in love with the female lead. However, she only sees him as a friend. But his presence does cause our male lead some concern, but in a cute way. Also, unlike Xia Yuan Qing, Si Chen is very likeable.

- Are there break ups? Yes, one, towards the end. She broke up with him The reason? Because she didn't want her lie (attending classes for her twin) to negatively affect him. But when realizes it was wrong for to break up over such a weak reason, he was upset that she could so easily break up with him.

- So happy ending? Yes, they broke up but then they'll get back together xD

- Side couples? Yesss, two. Wei Mian's twin sister and Jiu Yue (engineering student) are a couple. And FL's best friend (Lu Yao) and ML's best friend (Mu Ze) are a couple. The latter couple is more interesting than the former, imo. Although, I have to say Jiu Yue and Mu Ze are also very cute together. It's an adorable bromance.

- Would I recommend? I would. Despite all the negative comments regarding the xenophobic remark that's now editted out in the version I watched, it's a cute series. Very fluffy. The story isn't that compelling, but it's okay...so if you're into fluff, this is a good watch.

Not a waste at all. I personally think it's worth watching, very cute. But I also wouldn't make it a priority either. It's an ok watch.

true, definitely it was an insult to all the therapists
In general, and not just in drama, when it comes to facial beauty, they pay a lot of attention to the nose. It is the most central part of the face. I think Rhinoplasty is popular in Asia. Ladies like to have high bridges. Idk

1. So apart from our main story that takes place during the modern times, the first half of the series shows us these "flashbacks" to the Ming Dynasty . These flashback tells a love story of the emperor and a girl who saved him. We're lead to believe this may be there past life and maybe that's how our two leads are connected. I will tell you now, don't put too much stock into these dreams/flashback. It's not even that important to the overall story. It's kind of a misdirection. The story in these "flashbacks" are just that, a story. This story isn't just something out of nowhere though and you'll find out towards the end of the series. Our leads have a childhood connection and those dreams/flashbacks are actually a story written by our main guy's mom.

2. Is there a love triangle? The uncle likes our female lead, but ultimately, our main leads only have eye for one another. I will say this, the uncle is a good guy. Even towards the end, it may seem like they're going down the good character turned evil trope, I promise, he's a good guy.

3. So are there any major breakups? Sooo, you'll find out that our male lead has been acting since the beginning. Obviously, this will not go well when the female lead finds out. It's natural she'll question the sincerity of their relationship that was built based on a lie.

4. Are there side couples? Yes. There are two. The assistant (the male lead's best friend), Dai Fu and the other female psychiatrist, Linda have fun dynamic and their story is equally as interesting, funny, and cute as our leads. And then our female lead's brother likes our female lead's best friend. Their relationship is also pretty cute. I like all the relationship dynamics in this series actually. They're all very fun.

5. Happy ending? Yes!

OK I've just got to ask - is there seriously a world in which a celebrity being found to be in a stable consensual…
I think the KPOP industry is the biggest one that comes to mind. Usually, upon signing, at least for the first number of years, they aren't really allowed to date. One of the reasons I think (but I"m not entirely sure) is maintaining an eligible boyfriend/girlfriend fantasy for fans. I guess, it makes them more marketable.
