I agree. Cause I can't see why people hyped UWMA so much. Honestly I was glad Dean was darker skinned because, representation of thai people than pale.

I didn't want to admit it, but yes towards the end Ae/Pete had lost steam because I'm essence their story was over, and that's fine, because we still had three couplings to look forward to. Tar/Tum(another subject matter that would have been interesting to see how it's delt with) Kel/No, and finally Tin/Can. The whole reworking just felt cheap and so out of place. We already had the coming to terms with sexuality discovery with Tin/Can bother learning from each other and finding it ok to like same sex. Now they are pushing that into No's story line and it is off. I'd I had a Twitter I would complain to them until they blocked me, lol. Well just have to see. Also yes the first episode could've been about pete/ae as a send-off Also people complaining why he's not there is so messed up, it's like people their story was told already.

I'm of two minds on UWMA...it has its moments, but I feel like people hype it up like Sotus(my least favourite). I think it's because it was different at the time so that's why people praise it. And it's narrative was straight forward no real bs or excessive drama
I'm only watching this for TinCan ... I know this season is not strong like season 1 but guys can you just stop…
It's not that they didn't do their best, they rewrote an already established and cannon plot, and the proceed to go about introducing it in the tackiest way possible. Why jump back three months and then parallel it with a present day narrative for everyone else? The nature of the complaint, especially for me, is the blatant disregard for what was established and how it was tossed out because they felt it needed to have a backstory? Ask yourself was it really necessary? It's not about introducing new people, that's a lazy cop-out, they made a bad call and it really shows
Thats actually what happens in the books. Trump comes back for revenge and tries to rape Pete. Ae saves him. But…
