So true. I'm just wondering what they will do with it. As I've said part of me enjoyed some of the genuine moments, but overall it just...felt off? Especially after attempting the book. That's like LBC are they gonna address what happened with Techno properly?

This episode feels like it should have come earlier. It's still good, but also having it so close to the end feels like all other BL Drama troupe of drama before the end and rushed resolutions.
Also Pearl is too heavily used and it goes nowhere. Like she gives good advice but it is never really listened to, until sometime later

It's not that I'm bored, it's another preachy thing like sakristan. Where the writing is attempting to be deep and clever, but is shallow and stilted due to the acting or even the editing.

Then don't read the book...it's even worse. The narrative is disjointed and repetitive. And the toxicity is cranked up to 200.
Bai Yin stays stubborn the whole time and Gu Hai literally attacks anyone who even looks at Bai.
And talk about useless plots the author just goes off on se weird side tangent that does nothing for the plot, that could be solved in a couple of sentences...that's only 400 pgs out of 856...
I had to stop, cause apparently Gu also *spoilers* rapes Bai. So yeah. I won't lie some parts of the show I liked and honestly hoped they'd be a good couple but when it didn't happen I was glad it stopped at the first season, but apparently the second season is coming via Taiwan

I couldn't help at laugh at the 3rd part of this episode cause this was the how Erotic can we be without being explicit. Let me tell you cause every game Ace and Sky were practically humping each other.
Also can we please remove Moira, she is a terrible person. Usually female characters are bad, but she's a cut below the rest. Every scene she is in its like what pit of hell did you crawl out of? Kudos to her actress, but as a character she is terrible
The pacing and drawn out scenes were terrible in this one, the drive through scene went on way too long and then those two ads it was like what the heck, at lest incorporate them better if you're going to shove them in our face
Overall I'm liking the show. Most of the side characters are props to the mains, and the two females are in that trap of being with the guy "until he decides" but I don't care for Moira, so...

Same, I like the others much more, but the Jimmy being a dick is just a cheap trick to redeem him. I honestly like will or Nuan, actually Nuan more. But both are getting these... possessive feels....

Also you bring up a good point. Will takes Joey as someone he needs to coddle, whereas Jimmy is trying to change his initial impression he gave to Joey. I still hate the jerk-to-lover troupe, but I think you are hitting the mark about will. I'm hoping it's more of a he realizes he's more of a brother than a possession.

That is so true, and to back up you're point, when Nuan was talking about why he liked Joey he didn't bring up qualities, he just stated he liked him, which is fine, but from what we've been shown it's surface level. Will and Jimmy are the only two who kind of know more about Joey. So now I'm really curious to see how this unfolds

Jimmy is being seen in a new light. Yeah especially since Joey talked with Jimmy's mom. He would want to be the opposite of his dad and be there for the baby, so the conflict might be more of who he will love either the baby's mother or Joey, since they are steering the narrative that way.

Right, people forgot no one is truly evil that circumstances, events, etc. can shape a person. Yeah America is big on "them versus us" ugh! I think that's why doctor and Steven universe especially are revolutionary for showing that just listening and talking can actually be a solution.
Which when you think about it...Joey and Jimmy actually converse. Like Will and Nuan talk at Joey, but Jimmy actually takes it in...oh no am I actually supporting Jimmy (●__●)
