I agree like I've been saying will isn't perfect, but I don't think he's the villain. Manipulative means to get someone to do what you want by means of deception, gas-lighting, etc. Will hasn't done those things. He has not convinced Joey to do anything he doesn't want. Again that isn't to say that he isn't doing crappy things be he is not pushing Joey to love him. He thinks he is helping Joey by getting him fired like you said he should just be like "hey Kenji is xyz" and let Joey handle it. He's to infatuated so he thinks he need to protect him. People are so quick to label him. Maybe I'm just a creep too. Cause alot of his actions don't strike me as manipulative. Yes I was not cool with him walking into Joey's room and steeling his necklace. Or the fire plot, but so far he has just tried to keep pace with Joey. Cause if he was manipulative he would've used ever I'll change with Jimmy to do it, or even sabotage Nuans attempts, instead he I focusing solely on courting Joey the only way he knows how.
So unless the writes do something else I still think he's not bad

Whole different, they got rid of Good for Job, recast Tins brother and changed the backstory. I think it's just because Pond is older that he looks different, but his girlfriend is out of the picture to, well for now, plus he doesn't have that playboy energy

Apparently it's a soft reboot. TinCan is getting a rework and everyone else's story stays the same, but it feels like we've been cheated

Ok he's not trying to control Joey's life. Yes he is interfering and that is not the same thing. He got Joey the spot in drama, because he was the reason Joey miss the audition, and it was Joey's choice to go look for will, will didn't plan it. The only reason will went I. The first place because he liked Joey. People seem to forget that both will and Nuan know something about Kenji, and yes he shouldn't be trying to remove Joey from the internship, but it has to do with Kenji. Again he should just talk to him. Yes just because he has good intentions he is going about it wrong, but he isn't trying to make Joey something he's not. He isn't some manipulative monster. He's in love and he is doing a lot for his love. Again yes the getting him removed from the internship is wrong and he should communicate his fear.
But also Joey knowing Nuan feeling and just ignoring think is something people over look.

Also the guy isn't his servant he is friend or at best lackey...just like Jimmy. The point is, there are 30 episodes we are on episode four.
Jimmy so far has been way more possessive, pulling him out of his study group for one. As I stated will hasn't don't anything just for the sake of making it that he can't be with anyone, and as I e stated yes some of his methods are not favourable but he has never attacked or been malicious

I think people are looking at it way to hard, cause there have been many other BL'S where characters have *stared* and it was never seen as problematic. I will admit some of his methods are not right, but I don't think he's on the level of possessive, cause he hasn't stopped Joey from being with anyone or claimed him. Yes taking Joey's necklace was a "uh-oh" moment.
He's also in love, I'm thinking he doesn't know exactly what to do about it. Not saying his actions are just, far from it. I just don't think he needs to be targeted as this series villain this early. Cause he does also call Joey out on his bs cause Joey probably would never confront Nuan without will having brought it up. Joey is a dick for that

Ok first off poor Nuan. I just want to comfort that poor baby. He gets brave and then backs out equally fast. That confession scene was too much.
Part one
So we're getting more Jimmy/Joey bonding and I think it's sweet, it would be even better if they just stayed friends, but whatever. It's an obvious build up to their inevitable relationships. Also it is Joey's actor, his facial expressions are just all over, at first I thought it was a character choice, nope it's the actor not realizing he's just letting his face do whatever.

Part two
This is not a defense or apology for Will, but to be honest people are being to hard on him and are already vilifying him because we know where the narrative (or think we know) is going; Jimmy/Joey. Honestly will is actually the only one doing the courting. Yes some of his methods are iffy, but he's the only male interest in recent dramas so far that isn't overly dramatic or deceitful, like trying to hurt others or manipulate situations so bad for his personal gains. Remember the first thing he did was for Joey. Honestly I think Kenji may be the "villain" because both Nuan and Will are worried about Joey being near him. Cause neither were excited to here he got that job. Again I think Will Bo's being unfairly targeted, he is so far the most unproblematic, in terms of his actions and behaviour, aside from attempting to take Joey's job, but I feel that's due to Kenji. Jimmy, is a curious case, cause he is floating between and I'm like dude.

Part 3
Ok I knew Joey couldn't be that oblivious. He's almost as bad as other BL characters. He knows how two of these guys feels and just keeps ignoring it. Like with Nuan, he knew and just plays it off, that is harmful and really unkind. I get it, it is hard, because humans make things hard, to just be upfront and save heartache, so he just had oh boy confess twice and then was only willing to address it when Will told he needed too. So yeah, Joey needs to get on that.
