When is the serial killer gonna show up? Any guesses on who it may be? Maybe it’s KS. 😂
I really, really like Loelha's suggestion that it's HY. It would fit so well and be so shocking. But I just can't see them going that dark in a daily drama- with a lead character being a deliberate murderer , despite the U-15 warning in the opening credits. Honestly, I think they've dropped the idea, since there is little to no sense of urgency at the detective bureau about the case, while EH is their "Ace" detective. We'd see him busy working on it and not just sitting around chatting with his partner at their precinct desk.
So, 77 episodes in, and we're finally at the whole premise of the series. Despite my disappointment, Monday's episode should be interesting. Also, what happens when ES learns that HY is the woman that's broken her brother's heart? Maybe ES's temper will get the better of her? This should happen in 2 weeks, I'd guess.
This would have made a good candidate for a 50-episode show. A daily 120-episode layout doesn't work for a concept that's so thin.
I found it weird that EH didn’t recognize SW right away as soon as he stuck his head through the doorway and…
That's what threw me too. SW is EH's "nemisis" of sorts, or at least contender for HY's heart. I can only assume the shock of seeing ES there > shock of seeing SW. There should have been an "And you....." moment. But still, they need to address that on Monday.
The writer for this show is credited here as "Moon Young Hoon", with 2 other shows credited to him/her:
Here's a quote from a review here from MDL member "ParkMin" of this writer's previous work (2016's My Mind's Flower Rain - 7.3 MDL rating): "It's unbelievable how insufferable and stupid these characters are. The writer of the show does the laziest trick to prolong the series by re-skinning the exact set of events every 15 episodes or so."
The following year the writer got another series produced (2017's Dal Soon's Spring - with a VERRRY familiar-looking cast). It had an even lower MDL rating: 7.2. It didn't even get anyone with enough interest to write a review! Check the last two comment's on its MDL page here....you'll get the picture.
So, his 7.5 rating at this point is a definite step up! LOL
What a great show. Whoever did the casting for the supporting cast was a genius. Would love to see a mini-series season 2, just to see their married life with kids.
I can honestly say, I've given up caring. The only character I'm vested in (or can identify with) at this point is EH. Everyone else is just too flawed to give-a-darn about. For the first time, I've FF thru the ES/SW scenes, as they seem irrelevant now.
I want to watch Seo Joon Young and Kim Si Eun win their awards. I will have to watch it this weekend.
What amazed me, was that in that one presentation, we saw the child actors from all 4 dailies: BML (HimChan), TLIYE (MiRinae), AOME (JanDi), and UP (GaRam).
For all you GaRam fans, the 2023 KBS Awards (subbed) is now on Dramacool in 2 parts. He appears in Part1 of the show, about 5 mins in. He presents the Young Actor & Actress award, with, none other, than the little girl who portrayed MiRinAe in The Love in Your Eyes. Be prepared, the cuteness level is sky-high between the 2 of them, and they were great. (side note to those who loved Bravo, MyLife, the little boy who played HimChan was one of the nominees for Best Actor, but did not win).
Let's hope he sticks to it because if he fails to then that scene will be for naught.
Well, he still loves her. He's in the denial phase now...I suspect he'll stick to it until whatever happens where they are reunited, especially if it's due to traumatic situation(s). And notice he didn't say "those feelings I had are gone now"...He just said he hurts too much to go on.
I wanted EH to tell HY he saw her at the cafe. Truly hoping he doesn't talk to her again. Let HY be the one to…
I really wanted him to call her out. But he cares for her too much to embarrass her in public by calling out her lie. I was disappointed, but I get it.
I think her acting was much better in Bravo my Life, than this one. It is all over the place in this drama, but…
Agreed, BT. I figured he would get some kind of 'Comeback of the Year' award, or some such thing. But Couple of the Year? Seriously? They looked as awkward now as during the show! And I was surprised by her appearance...she looks even more gaunt than during the show's run?

Their disregard/disrespect for us is terrible.
